<![CDATA[The ability of description text writing is a competency that must be achieved in K.D 4.12. This research aims at improving writing skills by applying discovery learning model on students class VII-C of SMPN 3 Pancur Batu based on the result of classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles.This can be seen from the activities of students in the learning process which increasingly improves in each cycle in the first cycle an average of 63.33% and learning completeness isas many as 36.37% and increasing in the second cycle is obtained by an average of 87.67% and Learning condition is as many as 13.33%. It can be said that cycle II run very good. There has been an increase in the results of the description text writing skills because it gained a significant increase of 63 to 81. In this activity, the students did the followings: (1) observing activities, (2) finding activities, (3) asking activities, (4) trying activities, (5) communication activities. Based on the results of the above assessment conducted by the teacher, including attitude competency assessment with direct observation techniques, knowledge competency assessment with written test techniques in the form of describing an object in the first cycle and then in the second cycle the written test returns a description question.]]>

<![CDATA[The performance of executing nurses is one of the important factors in materializing the quality of nursing service at a hospital. Every hospital has problem with the performance of nurses especial those serving in the in-patient wards, and this problem is also experienced by Martha Friska Hospital Brayan Medan. The factors of organizational culture and nursing care standard application are still suspected to have influenced the performance of the nurses. The purpose of this explanatory survey study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture and nursing care standard application on the performance of the nurses serving in the in-patient wards of Martha Friska Hospital Brayan Medan. The population of this study was 125 nurses serving in the in-patient wards at Martha Friska Hospital Brayan Medan and 56 of them were selected to be the samples for this study. The primary data for this study were obtained through observation and questionnaire distribution and secondary data obtained through studying the documents available at Martha Friska Hospital Brayan Medan. The data obtained were analyzed through multiple linear regression tests at level of confidence 95%. The result of this study showed that the performance of the nurses serving in the in-patient wards at Martha Friska Hospital Brayan Medan was 51.8% and this belonged to inadequate category. The result of multiple linear regression tests showed that the variables of nurses’ involvement (p = 048), nurses’ adjustment (p = 0.004), nurses’ consistency (p = 0.006), mission of organization (p = 0.010), and the application of nursing care standard (p = 0.002) had influence on the performance of nurses in the in-patient wards at Martha Friska Hospital Brayan Medan. The management of Martha Friska Hospital Brayan Medan is suggested (1) Establishing the nursing care standards, directive service, job description and consistent guidance in health service provision,(2) Establishing the administration staff for every nurse station which job description is to calculate the cost of clients care in ward (3) Classification the patient-wards based on patient diagnosis (4) the nurses should improve their individual performance through the comprehensive application of nursing care standard referring to the need of clients.]]>

The development of this technology is also felt in marketing and distributing information about a tourist destination. Government organizations are no less affected by the rapid development of technology in marketing tourist destinations. The trend is no longer focused on the distribution of brochures or leaflets that are printed physically, but by using digital media. The purpose of this study was carried out, to see how the Tourism and Culture Office of Sabang City, in marketing tourism destinations using digital media, made use of several media such as, websites, youtube, social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) in their marketing. <![CDATA[Machine oil’s variety affects the consumption of the vehicle’s fuel. Oil can be divided based on its viscosity. This research aims at analyzing the effect kinds of oil on the consumption of the vehicle’s fuel. The difference of lubricants’ viscosity is shown by the specification of machine oil on a tester-motorcycle with SAE 10W40, SAE 15W40, 20W40. Vehicle used as a tester is a 125 cc motorcycle. The measurement of fuel’s consumption was done by arranging the rotation of machine by using tacho meter on rotation 1000 rpm, 2000 rpm, 3000 rpm and 4000 rpm, and consumption of fuel itself was measured by measuring cup. The research’s findings are : oil with SAE 10W40 and 15W40 and 20W40 on rotation 1000 rpm, 2000 rpm, 3000 rpm and 4000 rpm affect the consumption of machine’s fuel in which oil with SAE 10W40 is more economical on rotation 1000 rpm, 2000 rpm, 3000 rpm, and 4000 rpm meanwhile on rotation 4000 rpm oil with SAE 10W40 is more economical; on rotation 2000 rpm the lowest value of fuel’s consumption is 0.35 ml/m oil with SAE 10W40; on rotation 3000 rpm lowest value of fuel’s consumption is 0.65 ml/m oil SAE 10W40; AND ON ROTATION 4000 rpm lowest value of fuel’s consumption is 0,9 ml/m oil with SAE 15W40.]]>

<![CDATA[Determination of the value of the exponential smoothing’s parameters is a very sygnificant problems, because the value of these parameters is very sensitive to changes of forecasts in demand. Commonly, the way how to find the value of these parameters is try and error method. Try and error done by updating every possilble combination of the parameter’s values to exponential smoothing model thus, the results of the forecast is to be compared by each others. The best parameters is choosen by acuration measurement (minimum error),because of this method is very hard and wasting time,in this paper will propose another method how to get the best value of the smooting’s parameter. Non linear programming algorithm (in this case the levenberg – marquardt algorithm) will be aplicated to exponential smoothing model. In this paper will show that this algorithm is very fit to estimated optimum value of the smoothing’s parameters]]>

<![CDATA[Pre menopause merupakan hal yang sangat dikhawatirkan dan ditakuti oleh setiap wanita. Perubahan yang terjadi selama masa pre menopause akan menimbulkan produksi hormon estrogen menurun disertai dengan keluhan psikologi maupun fisik, yang ditandai dengan siklus haid yang tidak teratur dengan perdarahan haid yang memanjang dan ukuran perdarahan banyak yang disertai nyeri. Seiring dengan fungsi organ tubuh yang menurun seorang wanita akan mengalami kecemasan yang akan mempengaruhi hubungan dengan suami maupun lingkungan sosial yang mengakibatkan kepercayaan diri seorang wanita berkurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan sikap ibu dalam menghadapi pre menopause. Jenis penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 175 orang ibu-ibu pre menopause. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 64 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan ibu dalam menghadapi pre menopause kurang dan sikap ibu dalam menghadapi pre menopause positif. Pengetahuan ibu kurang karena disebabkan ibu belum pernah mendapatkan informasi tentang pre menopause dan belum pernah mendapatkan penyuluhan kesehatan tentang pre menopause. Sikap ibu yang positif disebabkan karena ibu mampu mengalihkan perasaan yang tidak menyenangkan ke hal-hal positif dengan cara melakukan berbagai aktifitas, dan menganggap bahwa hal yang dialami selama pre menopause merupakan hal wajar yang akan dialami oleh setiap wanita. Diharapkan kepada petugas kesehatan agar memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan tentang pre menopause, dan kepada ibu premenopause diharapkan proaktif untuk mencari informasi yang berkaitan dengan pre menopause.]]>

<![CDATA[In this study the author examines the consumer protection against the breach contract of business actors. This is based on the reality occurs in the midst of society that there are some business actors harm consumers’ rights. Consumers’ rights are often ignored by business actors as they don’t fulfill their obligations to the consumers properly. This condition can reduce or even lost the trust of the consumer, furthermore the consumer also can take some law process due to this condition. This study uses a normative method, which analyze the problem through an approach in legislation and also sourced from books, papers, laws and other references. There are three problems formulated in this study (1) the legal protection of the consumers to the business actors, (2) the sanctions based on Law Number 8 of 1999 against business actors in transactions, (3)the relationship between business actors and consumers. The existence of a law governing consumer protection is not intended to kill the performance of business actors. The consumer protection law can actually encourage a save business climate and encourage the innovation of a strong company in dealing with existing competition by providing qualified goods / services. This condition also presents two side of negative and positive challenge at a same time. It is positive because it gives a free chance for the consumer to choose any product and services according to their needs. However, it is negative because finally it determined the consumer position which is lower than the business actors. Consumer protection against the breach contract of business actors' should provide transparency contains and open access to information and guarantees legal certainty, protecting the interests of consumers and the interests of all business actors.]]>

<![CDATA[Mixed marriages according to Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning marriage are marriages between Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals (Article 57). Because of different nationalities, the laws applied to them are also different. Marriage Law does not expressly regulate the legal consequences arising from Mixed marriages. According to the Marriage Law of citizenship which is obtained as a marriage result, marital disturbances determine the applicable law, about public law and civil law.This research is a normative legal research that is prescriptive with a legislative approach and a conceptual approach. The sources and types of legal materials used are primary legal materials that are supported by secondary legal materials. Pre-Marriage Agreement Research Results is not implemented in good faith by each party that makes a prenuptial agreement so that it is null and void.]]>

<![CDATA[The reinforced concrete structures are structures that are very reliable in their current strength and are widely used in the construction of tall buildings and other constructions. The building structure requires medium quality concrete and high quality to compensate for the greater tensile stress used to support the structural components.As there is a need to an increase the quality of concrete by adding screw iron to fresh concrete, added material of screw concrete D13 was chosen which is well-used both in plate planning and practical columns to be used as added material aimed at increasing the tensile stress of the concrete. This research aims at finding the high effect of strong and sticky between concrete and threaded reinforced. Research method used is experiment by using sample in the form cylinder in which the diameter is 15 cm and 30 cm. Each specimen is 6 with variations of each 3 samples examined at 7 days and 3 other samples at 28 days where the quality of the concrete used was f’c 25 MPa which was medium quality concrete. The tool used is Universal Test Machine (UTM) with a pull out test. The sticky strength obtained from the 1986 Nawy Method is 8.044 MPa, the Oragun Et Al Method is 8.861 MPa, the Kim Method and the 2015 Park are 17.417 MPa]]>
