Abstract

This research aims to analyze trends in palm oil production and productivity in the PT Perkebunan Nusantara VI Pangkalan Unit. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The data in this research uses secondary data in the form of time series data for 10 years from 2013 to 2022. Secondary data was obtained directly from PTPN VI Pangkalan Unit. This research uses trend projection analysis with a regression approach. Based on research results, palm oil (FFB) production data for 2013-2022 tends to experience production fluctuations. As predicted for the next 5 years, palm oil production and productivity tends to decline every year. Production and productivity problems which tend to decline at PTPN VI Pangkalan Unit require special attention for improvement in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat daya saing karet alam ekspor di pasar dunia, dan mengetahui perkembangan dan implementasi kebijakan karet alam Indonesia di pasar internasional. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui Kementerian Perindustrian, Kementerian Perdagangan, Organisasi Pangan dan Pertanian, United Nation Commodity Comtrade. Data cross section pada penelitian ini terdiri dari lima negara yaitu China, Jepang, Spanyol, Turki, dan Italia. Data time series yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah selama 5 tahun, yaitu dari tahun 2017-2021. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Indeks Herfindah-Hirschman, Concentration Ratio, Revealed Comparative Advantage, Indeks Spesialiasi Perdagangan, dan Dinamis Produk Ekspor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karet alam Indonesia memiliki daya saing yang kuat di pasar internasional. Keunggulan komparatif karet alam Indonesia cukup tinggi karena memiliki nilai RCA diatas 1 di setiap 5 negara. Tingkat keunggulan kompetitif Indonesia berfluktuasi selama periode penelitian. Hasil penelitian diharapkan menjadi acuan dalam menyusun pedoman kebijakan mengenai daya saing dan produktivitas karet alam Indonesia. Indonesia perlu meningkatkan dan menjaga kualitas dan produktivitas karet alam Indonesia agar tetap mampu bersaing di pasar internasional

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the B2B strategies of TikTok and Tokopedia on purchasing decisions by consumers in the student environment. The results of this research show that the B2B marketing strategy of TikTok and Tokopedia has a significant influence on students' purchasing decisions. The majority of respondents are students aged 18-24 years, the majority of respondents (70%) use TikTok more than 1 hour per day, 85% of respondents have shopped on Tokopedia in the last 3 months. The results of the questionnaire show that 65% of respondents have a positive perception of the marketing strategies implemented by TikTok, especially in terms of creative content and user interaction. On the other hand, 60% of respondents also gave a positive assessment of Tokopedia's marketing strategy, with a focus on ease of access and product variety. SEM analysis shows that there is a significant relationship between perceptions of TikTok's marketing strategy and purchasing decisions on Tokopedia (p 0.05). Apart from that, perceptions of Tokopedia's marketing strategy also have a significant influence on purchasing decisions (p 0.05).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the feasibility of black durian farming during one production period at Watu Mori Farm, Mbeliling District, West Manggarai Regency. This research was carried out from December 2023 to February 2024. The research method used was descriptive, data collection techniques used interviews, documentation, observation, and participation. Data information was obtained directly from the Watu Mori Farm manager. The data analysis techniques used are cost analysis, revenue analysis, income analysis, and farming feasibility analysis. The results of this research show that the total costs were Rp 66,825,240, and the income obtained during black thorn durian farming during one production period was Rp 113,250,000, with a total net income of Rp. 46,424,760. Based on the research results, it show that blackthorn durian farming during one production period at Watu Mori Farm is said to be worthy of development. It is said to be worthy of development because the B/C ratio is greater than 1, namely 1.69. The problems faced during the blackthorn durian farming process at Watu Mori Farm are pests and diseases that attack the plants, especially during the season.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the efficiency of the broiler chicken farming business in Secanggang district, langkat regency. The sampling technique was carried out using census techniques with a sample size of 26 people. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary. To determine the efficiency of the broiler chicken business in Secanggang District, langkat Regency, Cobb-Douglas production factor analysis was used. Data processing was carried out using SPSS 25 software. Simultaneously, chicken seeds, starter feed, grower feed, finisher feed and medicines affect the broiler chicken farming business in Secanggang District, Langkat Regency, while partially those that affect the broiler chicken farming business in Secanggang District, Langkat Regency are chicken seeds, grower feed, finisher feed, medicines and those that do not affect are starter feed. Production factors (chicken seeds, starter feed, grower feed, finisher feed and medicines) used in the broiler chicken farming business in Secanggang District, Langkat Regency, seen from the economic side, are still not efficient.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the cost of production in the Pak Mitro tofu making business in Stabat District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. This research uses a case study method and is analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The data collection methods used are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The subject in this research is the owner of a tofu making business, namely Mr. Mitro. The analysis calculated uses the full costing method and the activity based costing (ABC) method. The results obtained from this research are the cost of production using the Full Costing method of Rp. 269 and using the Activity Based Costing method of Rp. 260. So that the tofu production produced by Pak Mitro's business experiences quite large costs of Rp. 9/unit.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze fertilization costs for immature oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) at the Tanjung Garbus Plantation Afdeling 2, PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional 2 focuses on fertilizer, labor, and transportation costs. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis, with secondary data collection from the company. The results show that the total fertilization cost in the 2018 planting year at Afdeling 2 amounted to IDR 1,353,060,492. The breakdown of costs includes fertilizer purchases amounting to IDR 1,304,734,345, transportation costs of IDR 6,026,147, and labor costs of IDR 256,643. The fertilization cost per hectare in the 2018 planting year is IDR 1,353,060,492. The largest proportion of the total cost is fertilizer costs, which account for 96% of the total fertilization operation cost. This study provides a clear overview of cost allocation in oil palm fertilization during the immature stage (TBM).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how smallholder oil palm farmers in Sri Tanjung Village, Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency. The validity of this study was confirmed by using quantitative techniques. Around 42 oil palm farmers from Sri Tanjung Village in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency, became the research sample. After the questionnaire was distributed and validated to determine its reliability and validity, the classical assumptions of heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and normality were also examined, then the proposed hypothesis was assessed using SPSS 30 multiple linear regression and the coefficient of determination. This study found that Farmer Capital spent on agricultural tools and equipment increases oil palm productivity, which increases farmer income. It has also been shown that fertilization has a significant impact on improving the quality and quantity of the harvest, with farmers often getting better yields when they use good fertilization procedures. permanent employee labor and family members help maintain the smoothness and efficiency of production, while limited supply of qualified personnel can affect the best results. The results of the study indicate that by using this method, oil palm farmers in Sri Tanjung Village can double their income. The data found that these three parameters had a significant impact on oil palm development and harvest success.

Abstract

Many social problems have occurred in our beloved country, including poverty. This is a social problem that we must face through joint planning; if not considered and not handled properly, it will hurt the community’s economy, both now and in the future. With this problem, the community can create a way to survive later without considering the negative impacts that can arise or be caused to themselves or those around them. In Belinteng village, Sei Bingai sub-district, Langkat district, there are several farmer group organizations where the farmer groups join and work together to improve the economy. In Belinteng village, there is a problem that exists, namely, that there is no role for farmer groups in the village, so that if a problem arises, the farmers immediately notify the extension worker. Farmer organizations play an important role in the development of the agricultural sector in Indonesia, which is one of the media for solving farmers' problems. In addition, farmer organizations can ensure that farmers unite and work together for the good of fellow farmers and not vice versa, to bring each other down and look weak in front of large companies and modern markets. This study also aims to analyze the level of empowerment of corn farmers through farmer groups and the problems face. How is the level of empowerment of corn farmers through farmer groups in Belinteng village, Sei Bingai sub-district, Langkat district, North Sumatra province? The research method in the journal used in this study is qualitative and quantitative data, while the data sources used are secondary data and primary data.

Abstract

Pasar bengkel souvenir center is a business venture in the food industry that trades several typical snacks and one of them is cassava processed products into several types of products such as kelanting, spicy cassava chips, garlic cassava chips, ebi cassava chips and various other products that make these products as souvenirs or gifts for visitors to the Pasar bengkel souvenir center. Product attributes or characteristics are certainly the most important factors that are the reasons for consumers to buy the product. In addition to appearance, taste is generally the main requirement that will be considered by consumers in order to consume the product continuously. In the culinary industry, consumer assessment is needed to determine the value or quality of the products traded. The purpose of this study is to determine what factors influence consumer buying interest in Kelanting/Selondok snacks. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, with the dependent variable being Purchase Interest, and the independent variables being Taste, Price, Packaging, and Trust. The results of the study showed that partially, the Taste and Trust variables had a significant effect, while simultaneously, all independent variables had a significant effect on the dependent buying interest.
