Abstract

The development of science and technology in the health sector has encouraged many pregnant women to want a labor process with minimal pain. One method that is increasingly popular is delivery by caesarean section. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the ERACS (Enhanced Recovery After Caesarean Section) method in accelerating recovery and reducing the duration of hospitalization after a cesarean section. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, involving five key informants at Mother and Child Hospital Ananda Trifa, Parepare City. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and questionnaires from August to September 2024. The results showed that all informants had a good understanding of the ERACS method, with knowledge obtained from doctors and social media. The ERACS method has been shown to be effective in reducing postoperative pain, allowing early mobilization within 6-8 hours, and shortening the duration of hospitalization to an average of two days. Family support and collaboration with the medical team also play an important role in successful recovery. Overall, the ERACS method provides significant benefits in accelerating recovery and increasing patient comfort, making it a promising alternative to cesarean delivery.

Abstract

One of the main causes of maternal death is hypertension in pregnancy, which is often triggered by anxiety before childbirth. This study aims to determine the effect of antenatal yoga on the level of anxiety of pregnant women in facing the labor process. Using a quasi-experimental design with a one group design approach, the study involved 30 pregnant women in the third trimester in the Malangke Health Center work area in the period August-September 2024. The sampling technique used total sampling, and the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon statistical test. The results showed that all respondents experienced a decrease in anxiety levels after the antenatal yoga intervention, with a significant p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The average decrease in anxiety had a mean rank of 15.00 and a positive sum of ranks of 435.00. These findings are in line with previous studies which stated that antenatal yoga is effective in reducing anxiety in pregnant women approaching labor. In conclusion, antenatal yoga has a significant effect in reducing anxiety levels in pregnant women, so it can be a recommended intervention to improve the mental health of pregnant women.

Abstract

Total anomalous pulmonary venous return (TAPVR) is a rare congenital heart defect, and patients are usually symptomatic at a very young age. Survival to adulthood without surgical correction is extremely rare. Objective: presented pediatric rare case of supracardiac total anomalous pulmonary venous. Methods: This study was a case report that describing detailed account of a patient's diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up a rare case. This study presents a single case. Results: we present a rare case of a 2-month-old infant diagnosed with Supracardiac TAPVR accompanied by an Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). The condition was identified through a combination of echocardiography and cardiac CT imaging. In these conditions, a right-to-left shunt is necessary for survival, along with the need for prompt corrective surgery. TAPVR is often associated with heterotaxy syndrome and other congenital heart defects. Various cross-sectional imaging modalities are valuable in detecting and evaluating pulmonary venous development anomalies. Conclution: These modalities provide both anatomical and functional information. Early detection and diagnosis lead to the best management strategies for patients with TAPVR. Multidetector Computed Tomography (MDCT) is a non-invasive imaging technique that plays an increasingly important role in evaluating these anomalies.

Abstract

Stimulation, Detection, and Early Intervention for Child Development (SDIDTK) is one of the activities for monitoring the growth and development of toddlers aged 0-72 months to detect any developmental deviations in children of this age group. If deviations are found, early intervention is conducted as a corrective measure to restore normal growth and development or prevent further worsening of the deviation. The purpose of this study is to explain the impact of providing Off the Job Training (OJT) on SDIDTK for toddlers on increasing the knowledge of healthcare workers in the Nelle Health Center work area. This research is quantitative in nature. The study design is a quasi-experimental approach with a One-group Pretest-posttest Design. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Sampling was done using purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 30 respondents. The results of the study showed that before the OJT was given, the level of knowledge among healthcare workers was at a moderate level (56.7%) and low (43.3%). After the OJT was provided, there was an improvement, with good knowledge (70%) and moderate knowledge (30%). Based on the study's results, it can be concluded that there is an impact of off the job training on SDIDTK for toddlers on increasing the knowledge of healthcare workers in the Nelle Health Center work area. It is recommended that healthcare workers who have not yet participated in the training should seek opportunities to do so through various sources, while those who have already participated in SDIDTK training should implement it in accordance with the knowledge they have acquired.

Abstract

Digitalization has brought significant changes to various sectors, including the healthcare industry. This research is important because digitalization is changing the marketing strategies of healthcare services. Understanding its impact helps healthcare institutions improve services, efficiency, and patient reach effectively in the digital era. This research is a literature study using a systematic literature review (SLR) approach. The articles in this research were obtained from Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, PubMed, and Emerald Insight through keyword searches related to the digitalization of healthcare service marketing during the period 2020–2025. From the search results, 6 relevant and high-quality articles were selected for analysis. The review was conducted systematically by thoroughly reading the articles to identify the main themes and the impact of digitalization on the management of healthcare service marketing. Based on the analysis of existing literature, the results of the study indicate that the application of big data, artificial intelligence (AI), telemedicine, and digital platforms have changed the way healthcare providers design and execute marketing strategies. Big data enables more personalized and data-driven marketing, while AI increases efficiency through predictive analytics that personalize the patient experience. Telemedicine has expanded the reach of healthcare services to remote areas, while digital platforms improve two-way interactions with patients. However, challenges that still exist include data security issues, patient privacy, and access to technology in some areas. This study concludes that despite the challenges, the application of digitalization in healthcare marketing provides great opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and patient engagement, as well as strengthen the competitiveness of healthcare providers.
