Abstract

The era of industrial revolution 4.0 brought changes to the social life system of Indonesian society. The negative impact faced by teenagers with negative and irresponsible information can destroy the mentality of the younger generation in building the nation. This quantitative research uses a cross-sectional design. The population of this study was all 60 female students of SMA Negeri 11 Ambon who were selected using stratified random sampling techniques. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Bivariate analysis uses the chi-square test, and multiple linear regression to test the influence of independent variables on mental health. Bivariate analysis shows that the proportion of poor mental health without social isolation is 25 (41.7%) higher than the proportion of mental health with social isolation, namely 2 (3.3%). The results of bivariate analysis show that the proportion of poor mental health without Hedonism is 27 (45.0%) higher than the proportion of mental health with Hedonism, namely 0 (0%). The results of bivariate analysis show that the proportion of poor mental health without bullying is 25 (41.7%) higher than the proportion of mental health with bullying, namely 2 (3.3%). The results of the chi square test stated that the p-value was <0.05 between the variables social isolation (0.008), hedonism (0.000) and bullying (0.015) with mental health. The results of the multiple linear regression test found that hedonism had the most influence on mental health with a p value = 0.012. This value shows that there is a relationship between each variable (social isolation, hedonism and bullying with mental health. And hedonism as the variable that has the most influence on mental health.

Abstract

Memory is related to the processes that allow us to record, store and then retrieve experiences and information. Memory as an information processor is analogized by psychologists and neurologists as a computer. The recording process, called encoding, is the process of obtaining information conveyed to the system by translating it into neural code which is processed in the brain. The goal of the research titled is to systematically evaluate and synthesize existing studies to determine the impact of memory training interventions on various aspects of cognitive function. This includes assessing how memory training may enhance skills such as attention, processing speed, working memory, and overall cognitive performance. By identifying patterns, strengths, and limitations in the current literature, the study aims to provide insights into the effectiveness of memory training programs and guide future research and practical applications in cognitive enhancement.Method: Articles used in systematic reviews are typically sourced from various academic databases such as PubMed, PsycINFO, Scopus, and Google Scholar. These include studies published in peer-reviewed journals. The keywords used for searching may include phrases like "memory training," "cognitive function," "cognitive enhancement," "working memory," and other related terms. This combination of keywords helps filter relevant articles. For instance, in this review, there might be 150 articles identified through the initial search. After a selection process based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, approximately 30 articles are chosen for further analysis. The articles included in the systematic review are examined systematically, following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines: Study Identification,Study Selection,Data Extraction,Analysis and Synthesis Analyzing the results from the selected studies and compiling conclusions based on the available evidence. Results: The findings from these five literature studies cumulatively imply that activities involving the Al-Quran, such as listening, reading, or memorizing, have a positive impact on various aspects of physical and mental health, cognitive function, and brain responses. The implications of these results may stimulate further research in the field of cognitive interventions, as well as provide a more in-depth look at the role of memorization in the development of cognitive abilities at critical developmental stages. Conclusion: From the five studies reviewed, it can be concluded that memory training interventions, especially in the context of memorizing the Qur'an, contribute positively to the improvement of cognitive function in various age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. The implications of these findings give impetus to further research in the field of cognitive intervention, focusing on memorization strategies, as well as providing deeper insight into the role of memorization in the development of cognitive abilities at critical stages of life.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between parenting patterns and stunting in children aged 25-59 months in Biak Numfor Regency, where stunting rates surpass the national average. Stunting, a reflection of chronic malnutrition, is particularly high in Papua, highlighting the need for targeted interventions. The research uses a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data to capture a fuller picture. Designed as a Case Control Study, the research compares mothers of stunted toddlers (46 participants) with mothers of non-stunted toddlers (46 participants), collecting data from January to July 2024 through total sampling. The quantitative phase utilizes secondary data from the Bosnik Public Health Center, while the qualitative phase includes interviews with key health officials. Data analysis involves univariate, bivariate (Chi-Square), and multivariate (Multiple Logistic Regression) methods processed with SPSS 29. Findings show that poor parenting significantly increases the likelihood of stunting by 12.59 times (p=0.001). Additional factors influencing stunting include inadequate prenatal nutrition (AOR 15.43), infrequent prenatal check-ups (AOR 6.026), and a history of premature birth (AOR 5.56). The model predicts an 82.6% incidence rate of stunting based on these risk factors, underscoring the importance of improved maternal and child health practices in the region.
