Abstract

Small and medium enterprises in Indonesia still have a lot to improve to make work easier in each field. One of them is in the field of financial management and marketing. This time, many SMEs in Indonesia still use manual marketing and financial systems. This system is said to be manual because it still uses traditional methods such as manual financial calculations, and marketing processes that must use a face-to-face system. In this case, the service team describes these problems to improve the marketing and financial system in Sweet Potato SMEs. Because many of these places still use a manual system which will later be replaced with a website-based system. Results in the concept of financial management partner previously correct 75% have increased by as much as 90%. Then from the wrong concept of financial management from the previous 25% to 10%. This is an increase in partners' knowledge of the concept of financial management. Next is the management goal, before partners can answer correctly with a level of 70% to 100%. Then the partner answered incorrectly, from the previous 30% there was a decrease to 0%. The increase in partners' knowledge of financial management objectives is considered very high because it has reached 100%. The results on the importance of marketing management from the previous partner answered correctly 85% to 100% correct. Then from the previous `15% wrong result, it became 0% wrong. This has increased because partners know the importance of marketing management. Then in determining the target market, before the partners answered correctly by 70%, it became 100%. And the previous incorrect result of 30% becomes 0%. This increase in determining the target market increases the knowledge of Sweet Potato SME partners.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the learning motivation and mathematical knowledge of students at the Aisyiah Orphanage through the creation of a Numeracy Literacy Corner. The method used is demonstration and group discussion. The students' study room at the orphanage was transformed into a numeracy literacy corner decorated with math learning media. The activity was carried out on June 3 2022 and involved students and supervisors at the Aisyiah Orphanage as targets. After carrying out the activity, the questionnaires distributed showed a high level of student satisfaction with an average score of 4.15. Apart from that, the students and coaches also showed high enthusiasm for the arrival of the team and asked for further guidance to increase enthusiasm for learning mathematics. The results of this study indicate that the activity of making a Numeracy Literacy Corner is effective in increasing the learning motivation and mathematical knowledge of students at the Aisyiah Orphanage. The recommendation from this study is to continue further guidance to further encourage the enthusiasm and skills of learning mathematics for students at the Aisyiah Orphanage

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service Research is to apply poetry by determining the theme, taste, tone, mandate. The research used there are two activities, namely Traditional Scouting and Outdoor Activity. Traditional Scouting activities are carried out through 5 (five) methods, namely orientation, workshops, games, and mentoring. While outdoor activities are carried out through methods, namely: practices that are implemented indoors. The method used is training in the form of theory and practice, the material presented is in the form of theory, while the practice is in the form of role playing and games. The expected results of the teacher are even better in making poems by including themes, tones, flavors, mandates.

Abstract

Mc Kenzie Neck Exercise merupakan latihan penguluran spine dan otot yang dilakukan sepanjang gerakan latihan dengan repetisi yang telah ditentukan. Penyuluhan dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada pegawai di poli KIA puskesmas singosari terkait peran fisioterapi dalam mengobati nyeri leher, terutama penyebabnya, cara pencegahannya, serta cara melakukan latihan Mc kenzie cervical exercise untuk mengurangi nyeri leher. Pemaparan materi penyuluhan berupa definisi, penyebab, cara pencegahannya, serta macam-macam gerakan Mc kenzie neck exercise yang bisa dilakukan secara mendiri oleh para pegawai. Media promosi kesehatan yang digunakan berupa leaflet yang disertai dengan pemberian demostrasi gerakan-gerakan Mc kenzie cervical exercise. Penyuluhan berhasil dan bisa dimengerti oleh peserta, sehingga hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa setelah materi diberikan, pengetahuan peserta meningkat dari 40% menjadi 100%. Kegiatan penyuluhan dapat memperluas pemahaman peserta tentang peran fisioterapi pada nyeri leher, serta latihan Mc Kenzie cervical exercise untuk mengurangi nyeri leher yang bisa dilakukan secara mandiri

Abstract

SMK Taruna Persada Dumai is one of the vocational schools that participate in the SMK Center of Excellence program. This program focuses on developing specific skill competencies for SMK students. Competency development is prioritized on competencies that are aligned with the business world, industrial world, and world of work. Based on the evaluation of the previous year's Community service activities, the SMK Taruna Persada Dumai asked to continue the activity to increase its students’ competencies. The competency that will be taught in the 2022 Community service PSTRK is an introduction to the field of IoT which is currently developing. PSTRK implements Student-Centered Learning (SCL) to increase the competency of SMK students in monitoring IoT projects through the Blynk platform. Community service was held on September 6, 2022, from 9.00 am to 14.00 pm. This activity was attended by 20 students from the Department of Computer Network Engineering, SMKS Taruna Persada Dumai City. The given SCL module consists of 5 parts. The first part focuses on the small group discussion learning model in the introduction of processors, actuators, and sensors. Then, in the second part, the students simulated the LED and ESP32 circuits using the wokwi.com simulator. The third part is followed by a case study model of the LED series and NodeMCU 8266. Students’ enthusiasm for independent learning makes this third part take a long time. So, the fourth part in the form of colorful light control role-plays in the form of LED control via Blynk, and the fifth part in the form of a discovery learning model for reading DHT11 sensor data did not have time to work on it. As a solution, the Community service team left two sets of learning modules for students to work on independently later. At the end of the lesson, feedback from students was collected and the results showed their satisfaction with the material provided, the way it was presented, the quality of the modules, and the suitability of the material. The students also hope to be included in other Community service programs with different materials.

Abstract

Desa Wisata (Desa Wisata) Segajih is located in Hargotirto, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The village is known for its stunning natural beauty, such as green hills, waterfalls, rivers, and vast rice fields. In addition, in Segajih Tourism Village there are also several homestays / inns and serve regional specialties. Segajih Tourism Village carries the concept of "Live in Education," where tourists can experience an educational experience that includes the process of batik making, ant sugar making, painting, playing gamelan, and other activities. However, there is a problem in Desa Wisata Segajih Tourism Village, which is not optimal in identifying tourism potential and mapping that provides information to visitors about the relative location of tourism potential. Community service methods carried out include observation, counseling, FGD (Focus Group Discussion), discussion, training, and mentoring. The purpose of this community service is to empower the community in mapping and optimizing the potential of Desa Wisata Segajih to be more advanced and prosperous for the village community. The results of this PKM are producing a map of the potential of Segajih tourism village and its surroundings, besides that this PKM also produces the identification of potentials, problems and solutions.

Abstract

Pendahuluan : Orang lanjut usia berada pada tahap akhir pertumbuhan. Dan itu adalah proses alami yang tidak dapat dihindari oleh siapa pun. Proses menua ditandai dengan perubahan anatomi, biologi, fisiologi, dan perubahan psikologis. Tujuan : Penyuluhan bertujuan untuk mengedukasi lansia tentang nyeri punggung bawah terutama tentang gejala gejala dan faktor penyebab nyeri punggung bawah, serta melakukan latihan mandiri di rumah untuk mencegah nyeri punggung bawah. Metode : Metode yang diberikan adalah penyuluhan kepada masyarakat, berupa promosi kesehatan tentang nyeri punggung bawah, dengan menggunakanl eaflet sebagai media, dengan tujuan pemahaman masyarakat, melakukan tanya jawab untuk mengetahui informasi tentang keluhan yang dialami oleh masyarakat, dan mengedukasi dengan latihan-latihan dan penanganan yang bisa dilakukan dirumah untuk mengurangi keluhan. Kesimpulan : Proses penyuluhan berjalan dengan lancar, masyarakat mulai memahami terkait latihan-latihan yang telah diajarkan untuk dilakukan dirumah, dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman masyarakat dari 0% hingga 100% setelah penyuluhan dilakukan. Sehingga terjadinya penurunan tingkat nyeri yang dialami masyarak setelah melakukan latihan dirumah. Kegiatan penyuluhan yang sudah dilaksanakan di Posyandu Lansia Desa Wonokerso Kecamatan Pakisaji, Malang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan lansia mengenai nyeri punggung bawah serta bagaimana cara pencegahan dan penanganan secara mandiri dengan melakukan latihan aktif dan latihan aktif resisted.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat as community services held by Christian Religious Education Study Program aim to improve the competence of Sunday School teachers (SHM) at GKE Balukon, Pulang Pisau District at Central Kalimantan. SHM teachers at GKE Balukon are still very limited in mastering teaching methods that are appropriate to the child's developmental level. Teachers who are in charge of teaching sometimes do not spend enough time preparing materials and teaching methods to be used, so that the activities carried out tend to be less in-depth about the message that should be conveyed regarding the word of God. Based on the analysis of the situation and conditions of the assisted communities, the formulation of the research problems includes 1) How is the competence of Sunday School teacher (SHM) at GKE Balukon?; 2) How can SHM teacher improve their competence at GKE Balukon? Through Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, the team planned action activities through coaching SHM teachers at GKE Balukon. From the results of this research in form of interviews, observations and questionnaires. It was found that the competence of SHM teachers at GKE Balukon was still weak in the aspects of professional competence and pedagogical competence. This weakness can be seen from observations during SHM where the teacher has not been able to apply the activity of applying/responding with the Bible stories conveyed. For this reason, the coaching focuses on pedagogic competence. From the results of the evaluation, SHM teachers at GKE Balukon gained new knowledge regarding the effectiveness of learning based on child's age development level and new ways of developing activities for applying/responding to Bible stories when teaching.

Abstract

The community needs to acquire basic knowledge of how to use computers and laptops, especially considering Industrial Age 4.0. Microsoft Excel is computer software that can be used in many areas, especially in data processing. One way to learn Microsoft Excel is through lessons at junior high or high school level. However, this learning has not been evenly distributed, because there are residents who do not continue their education to the junior or senior high school level, the lack of teaching staff in the field of computers or the limited infrastructure of school computers. This is very unfortunate as Microsoft Excel is one of the most needed software in various industries, whether it's processing large amounts of data or doing simple administrative tasks. Understanding Microsoft Excel is important for society and should be learned from a young age, so that the learning process can run faster. The purpose of this service is to teach how to use Microsoft Excel software to young people aged 12 to 18 in Segara Makmur Village, Bekasi District. These young people have different skills and knowledge, so the training materials are divided into two levels. Although the basic Microsoft Excel formulas and operations taught at both material levels are similar, the examples of calculations and applications taught are different. The outcome of this activity is that a 12–18-year-old will be able to u.nderstand basic formulas in Microsoft Excel and apply them to school-level mathematics and statistical calculations. This ability becomes the initial provision for the young people to understand the use of Microsoft Excel

Abstract

Desa Sindangpalay merupakan desa pertama yang dipilih untuk mendapatkan penyuluhan stunting oleh Puskesmas Karangpawitan, karena Desa tersebut memiliki angka stunting yang paling tinggi di Kecamatan Karangpawitan. Hal ini menjadi masalah urgen karena stunting dapat mempengaruhi seluruh pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada anak sebagai penerus bangsa ini. Dalam upaya mencegah terjadinya stunting, Puskesmas Karangpawitan mengadakan sebuah kegiatan penyuluhan untuk menunjang perubahan wawasan masyarakat terkait pentingnya pencegahan stunting. Tujuan diadakan penyuluhan ini yaitu untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat terkait pentingnya tumbuh kembang anak, meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penanganan dan pencegahan stunting pada anak sehingga dapat menurunkan presentase stunting di Desa Sindangpalay Kecamatan Karangpawitan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan penyuluhan ini berupa ceramah dengan menggunakan media power point yang dilakukan oleh dokter dan bidan Puskesmas Karangpawitan serta melakukan sesi tanya jawab. Metode evaluasi hasil penyuluhan dilaksanakan bersama pihak puskesmas dan desa melalui observasi dan wawancara kepada masyarakat terkait hasil penyuluhan yang diberikan kepada kader. Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan mengenai pencegahan stunting terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan kader mengenai stunting serta informasi yang telah didapatkan oleh kader tentang pencegahan dan penanganan stunting telah disebarluaskan kepada masyarakat.
