Abstract

Rejoso River is the largest in the Rejoso District (Pasuruan Regency, East Java). It often floods Rejoso District villages during the rainy season, so it must be managed thoroughly before, during, and after it hits Rejoso District. Disaster management needs to be carried out in a planned, integrated, coordinated, and comprehensive manner to protect the community and the threats, risks, and impacts of disasters. The type of research used in this study is an experiment aimed at building a decision support system in determining the villages most affected by flooding in the Rejoso District area. One of the efforts to prevent and reduce the impact of flood disasters is to provide information on flood-prone areas packaged in the form of digital maps. In order to find out the area in Rejoso District, Pasuruan Regency which is included in the flood-affected villages, a study was conducted using the mathematical method of Fuzzy Sugeno with the final results of a decision-making support system to be able to determine the area or villages in Rejoso District that were affected by the flood. The results showed that the Fuzzy Sugeno method gave the final decision, namely Kedungbako village as a village that was determined to be safe from floods and Manikrejo village was determined as a village affected by floods.

Abstract

Tobacco leaves have great potential as corrosion inhibitors due to the chemical compounds present in tobacco leaf extracts that play a role in inhibiting the corrosion rate, specifically tannins. The objective of this study was to determine the corrosion rate value and efficiency of tobacco leaf extract as an inhibitor on corrosion coupons exposed to a sulfuric acid solution. The initial step involves preparing smooth corrosion coupons and tobacco leaves. The tobacco leaves were prepared by extracting them through a maceration method using ethanol solvent over a 5-day period. A corrosive media solution of 1 M H2SO4 and corrosion coupons measuring 0.1 x 1.3 x 7.65 cm were also prepared. Subsequently, both the corrosion coupons and tobacco leaf extract were soaked in an acidic solution for the initial sample. The highest tannin content was found in the tobacco leaf extract using ethanol solvent (in a ratio of 1:6), yielding 31.35%. At the highest concentration of 800 ppm, the corrosion rate of the tobacco leaf extract was measured at 17.36 mm/year. Additionally, the inhibition efficiency of the tobacco leaf extract in the corrosive medium, a 1 M H2SO4 solution, reached 89.82% at a concentration of 800 ppm, with a soaking time of 5 days.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat apakah ada hubungan kesadaran metakognitif terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik dengan menerapkan model discovery learning berbantuan video pembelajaran interaktif. Seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MA Ummul Mukminin Makassar merupakan populasi penelitian. Sampel dipilih secara random. Kesadaran metakognitif di ukur menggunakan instrument metacognitive awareness inventory (MAI) dengan 52 item pernyataan positif dan negatif dengan tiga dimensi pernyataannya. Dimensi pernyataannya meliputi pengetahuan kognitif, pengetahuan strategi, serta pengetahuan terhadap diri sendiri. Kemampuan kognitif diukur dengan menggunakan menggunakan 20 nomor item soal pilihan ganda. Item soalnya terdiri dari C1 hingga C4. Soal nya terdiri dari kemampuan mengingat, memahami menerapkan, dan menganalisis. Analisis statistic deskriptif dan statistic inferensial merupakan teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data penelitian di uji dengan SPPS 17 melalui pengujian regresi linear satu variable independent. Nilai R yang di peroleh berdasarkan uji regresi linear adalah 0,120 sedangkan R squere = 0,014. Kesimpulan penelitian didapatkan adanya hubungan kesadaran metakognitif dan kemampuan kognitif dengan kategori sangat rendah. Persentase sumbangan kesadaran metakognitifnya adalah 0,14%.

Abstract

The experiment that has been carried out aims to determine the quality of forest honey originating from the Sula Islands, North Maluku based on the parameters set by the Indonesian National Standards Agency (SNI) 8864:2018, which includes organoleptic parameters (odour and taste), water content and Diastase Number. These parameters can indicate the originality of a forest honey product. The research was conducted at the Forensic Laboratory Center of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Republic of Indonesia Police, using the laboratory experiment method, using the UV-Vis Spectrophotometry instrument, forest honey originating from the Sula Islands district, North Maluku Province was used as material in this experiment. Organoleptic tests including odour and taste were carried out using the sense of smell and taste, water content testing using an oven drying technique, and DN value determination using the UV-Vis Spectrophotometry instrument. The experiment results showed that some parameters met the requirements and did not meet the criteria. Tests on Sula Islands forest honey's taste and water content parameters did not meet the criteria, but the odour and DN parameters met the requirements.

Abstract

One of the chemistry concepts that students often get low learning outcomes in class XI is the concept of molecular shape. Many students have difficulty describing the shape of molecules and this causes students to misunderstand molecular shapes because the shape of molecules is abstract and cannot be observed directly using the sense of sight. The research aims to determine the effect of using OBAK DELIK virtual reality media on the visual spatial and critical thinking abilities of students at SMA N 1 Tuban. The research used a one group pretest posttest design to determine visual spatial abilities and critical thinking abilities. Analysis of research data was carried out by analyzing diagnostic test results using the n-gain score. The results of research using OBAK DELIK media concluded that students' visual spatial and students' critical thinking abilities experienced a fairly effective increase with an n-gain of consecutively 0.621 and 0.618

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is over, the good habit of washing hands with soap must be maintained, because it concerns a clean and healthy lifestyle. The unavailability of automatic hand washing devices on the IVET University Campus is a motivation to create an application tool, in its application it will use an infrared obstacle sensor by coding commands through Arduino software. Based on a review of previous research, no one has designed a hand washer device with an energy-efficient infrared obstacle sensor. Utilizing Arduino software and hardware with a current consumption of <0.050 amperes on standby. When operating, this device consumes a current of <0.5 amperes which opens and closes the water tap. The operating voltage of the microcontroller is 5 volts, so this device consumes 2.5 watts of electricity, and if it operates for 1000 hours or for ±41 days continuously without stopping, it only uses 2.5 KWh of electricity and when on standby for 1000 hours this device uses 0.25 KWh of electricity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi integrasi E-learning dan Telegram Bot untuk meningkatkan pendidikan multikultural dalam perspektif Islam, khususnya bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan toleransi dan inklusivitas dalam pemahaman dan sikap siswa terhadap keragaman budaya. Tantangan utamanya terletak pada menjembatani perbedaan budaya melalui pendidikan inklusif yang dapat diakses dan memperkuat multikulturalisme dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. E-learning menyediakan lingkungan belajar yang fleksibel yang memungkinkan siswa mengakses materi kapan saja dan di mana saja, menawarkan penyampaian konten terstruktur dengan multimedia interaktif. Bot Telegram melengkapi hal ini dengan memfasilitasi komunikasi real-time, notifikasi, dan diskusi interaktif, memungkinkan interaksi langsung antara instruktur dan siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui tinjauan pustaka, observasi partisipatif, dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis tematik terhadap data dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi pola keterlibatan dan respons siswa, menilai efektivitas E-learning untuk penyampaian konten dan Bot Telegram untuk mendukung komunikasi real-time. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa E-learning meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan pemahaman materi, sementara Bot Telegram meningkatkan keterlibatan dan partisipasi melalui notifikasi dan fitur diskusi yang tepat waktu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi E-learning dan Telegram Bot efektif mendorong pemahaman multikultural dalam konteks Islam, menumbuhkan toleransi, inklusivitas, dan penerapan nilai-nilai Islam di dunia nyata dalam masyarakat multikultural

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi program tahlil for kids sebagai media pendidikan karakter pada salah satu sekolah dasar di Probolinggo. Program ini dirancang untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai inti seperti tanggung jawab, disiplin, empati, dan menghargai melalui amalan tahlil, disesuaikan dengan pemahaman siswa muda. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam terhadap guru dan siswa, dan dokumentasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa program Tahlil for kids efektif membantu siswa memahami dan menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai karakter melalui pendekatan keagamaan yang sesuai dengan konteks lokal mereka. Namun, tantangan muncul dalam mempertahankan perhatian siswa, mendapatkan dukungan orang tua, mengatur waktu yang terbatas dalam kurikulum sekolah, dan mengatasi keragaman latar belakang agama siswa. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator dan keterlibatan orang tua merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan program. Temuan ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi sekolah lain yang berupaya mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan berbasis agama yang relevan dengan konteks budaya siswanya

Abstract

Tumpahan minyak mentah di laut telah menjadi permasalahan lingkungan yang serius. Penggunaan surfaktan sebagai salah satu solusi atas tumpahan minyak tersebut. Surfaktan bertindak sebagai dispersan untuk remediasi kontaminasi berbagai hidrokarbon minyak bumi dan untuk merangsang metabolisme mikroba dan transformasi minyak. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan tinjauan literatur mengenai dispersan kimia dan biosurfaktan sebagai solusi tumpahan minyak laut. Dispersan kimia digunakan untuk mengurangi kerusakan akibat tumpahan minyak dengan memecah lapisan minyak menjadi tetesan-tetesan kecil, sehingga mengurangi potensi terperangkapnya hewan laut di dalam lapisan minyak. Dispersan kimia mempercepat biodegradasi dan merangsang pertumbuhan bakteri. Biosurfaktan dapat mendorong pemecahan molekul hidrokarbon dengan meningkatkan mobilitas, ketersediaan hayati, dan paparan bakteri, sehingga menguntungkan biodegradasi hidrokarbon. Dispersan kimia mempunyai efek positif terhadap proses biodegradasi minyak bumi, namun juga mempunyai efek negatif pada kondisi tertentu. Biosurfaktan memainkan peran positif dalam proses biodegradasi minyak bumi

Abstract

Understanding concepts is very required in physics learning. Many students have different understandings about scientific concepts, this term is usually called misconceptions. Misconceptions are a problem that must be addressed immediately, because they are one of the factors that cause students to experience difficulties in learning physics. This research aims to determine the effect of the PhET virtual simulation laboratory in overcoming students' misconceptions about fluids. This type of research is a Pretest-Posttest One Group Pre-Experimental design. The sample for this research was class XI science students at MA Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon Tembelang Jombang, taken using a purposive sampling technique. The test used is in the form of a multi-tier multiple choice test from a four-tier diagnostic test with a certainty response index (CRI) consisting of 20 items. The results of this study show that students' misconceptions decreased for all sub-concepts of fluid materials. Based on the statement explained previously, it can be concluded that physics learning based on virtual laboratories can correct students' misconceptions, especially in fluids
