Abstract

Digital transformation in 21st-century education is driving a shift towards collaborative and learner-centered learning. This study uses library research with a qualitative approach to analyze digital pedagogical innovation models and their impact on learning effectiveness and motivation. The results identified five main models: TPACK-based PjBL, Gamification, Blended Learning, Flipped Classroom, and AI-based Personalized Learning. TPACK-based PjBL was deemed the most effective in developing 21st-century skills, while gamification increased learner engagement. Digital pedagogical innovations also increased intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, although their implementation still faces challenges related to teacher readiness and infrastructure. Overall, these innovations support the development of digital education theory and serve as a reference for teachers, schools, and policymakers in realizing learning that is responsive to technological developments.

Abstract

The acceleration of financial technology (fintech) and digital banks (neobanks) has created a highly competitive landscape in the national banking industry. This study aims to analyze the internal capabilities of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA) in identifying core competencies and mapping value creation to maintain its position as a market leader. The theoretical framework applied is the Resource-Based View (RBV) through the VRIO matrix (Value, Rarity, Inimitability, Organization) and Value Chain Analysis. The research method employs a descriptive qualitative approach with secondary data collection sourced from annual reports, corporate sustainability reports, and related scientific literature. The Value Chain analysis reveals that BCA generates superior value added in operational activities (IT system security) and services (customer service quality and omnichannel ecosystem). Furthermore, the VRIO analysis indicates that its brand equity as a secure transactional bank, massive low-cost funding base (CASA), and adaptive information technology infrastructure are strategic resources that meet the criteria for a sustainable competitive advantage. Conversely, the high investment cost for maintaining the physical network (branch offices and ATMs) is identified as an internal weakness in the digitalization era. This study recommends that BCA accelerate the migration of physical services to cloud-based digital platforms to reduce long-term operational costs.

Abstract

Intense competition in the modern herbal medicine industry requires companies to optimize internal capabilities to maintain their position as market leaders. This study aims to dissect the internal strategy of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk. in identifying core competencies and building a sustainable competitive advantage. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data sources obtained from secondary data (company's annual reports and literature reviews) were analyzed using the Resource-Based View (RBV/VRIO) framework and Value Chain Analysis. Value Chain analysis shows strong value creation in primary activities, particularly inbound logistics through local farmer partnerships and automated production operations. VRIO analysis proves that Tolak Angin's brand equity, modern R&D facilities, and pharmaceutical certifications (CPOB/CPOTB) are strategic resources that meet the criteria for a sustainable competitive advantage. However, an internal weakness was found regarding revenue dependence on a single dominant product. Sido Muncul's competitive advantage relies on pharmaceutical quality standardization and brand strength. The company is advised to aggressively implement product diversification to mitigate the risk of product dependency.

Abstract

Digital disruption in the land transportation industry requires conventional business players to optimize internal capabilities to survive amid the penetration of app-based services (ride-sharing). This study aims to analyze the internal strategy of PT Blue Bird Tbk. in identifying core competencies and formulating strategies to maintain a competitive advantage. The approach used is the Resource-Based View (RBV) with the VRIO framework (Value, Rarity, Inimitability, Organization) and Value Chain Analysis. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with secondary data collection through annual reports, corporate sustainability reports, and previous scientific literature reviews. The results of the Value Chain analysis show that Blue Bird creates superior value added in operational activities (standardization of independent fleet maintenance) and human resource management (driver training and welfare systems). Furthermore, the VRIO analysis reveals that brand equity regarding safety and comfort aspects, exclusive lounge networks (such as in airports and star-rated hotels), and driver service culture are strategic resources that meet the criteria for a sustainable competitive advantage. The identified internal weakness is the high operational overhead costs of the physical fleet compared to digital asset-light competitors. This study suggests strengthening digital ecosystem integration (super-apps) and diversifying into last-mile logistics services to reduce internal inefficiencies.

Abstract

This study aims to map the development of scientific literature on digital marketing on the TikTok platform using a bibliometric approach. Research data were obtained from the Scopus database covering the period from 2018 to 2024, resulting in 847 documents that met the established inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis was conducted using Bibliometrix R-Package and VOSviewer software to identify publication trends, the most productive authors and institutions, the most influential journals, country contributions, and thematic research clusters. The results indicate that publications in this field experienced rapid growth, peaking in 2022 with 231 documents. China dominates global publication contributions with 214 documents, while the United States records the highest average citation rate of 28.83 per document. The Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services was identified as the most influential journal with 48 articles and an h-index of 24. The dominant topics identified include influencer marketing, purchase intention, and brand awareness. This study confirms that TikTok-based digital marketing research has evolved into a dynamic multidisciplinary field that still holds considerable research gaps to be further explored by the global academic community.

Abstract

The development of digital marketing has driven the use of live streaming commerce as an increasingly popular marketing strategy, particularly in the skincare industry, which emphasizes visuals and direct interaction with consumers. However , the effectiveness of live streaming in driving purchasing decisions still shows mixed results for local skincare brands . This study was designed to evaluate the impact of personality traits, live broadcast time , and the level of interactivity on consumer choices in purchasing For Skin Sake (FSS) products . A quantitative approach was applied through a survey targeting TikTok users in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) who had watched FSS live streaming sessions . The results revealed that all three variables had a positive influence on purchasing decisions , with interactivity being the most prominent factor . These findings emphasize that the effectiveness of live streaming is not solely determined by technological aspects , but also by the quality of interaction , the nature of the host , and the right broadcast time . The contribution of this study is expected to enrich the theory in the field of digital marketing and provide practical guidance for local skincare brands in developing their product content. a more efficient live streaming strategy .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG), the BI Rate, and economic growth on the outstanding value of corporate sukuk in Indonesia. The study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis (Ordinary Least Squares) applied to secondary data obtained from official publications of relevant authorities during the research period. All variables are transformed into logarithmic form to allow the regression coefficients to be interpreted as elasticities. The results show that, partially, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) has a positive and significant effect on the outstanding value of corporate sukuk, with a coefficient of 3.940 and a probability value of 0.000, indicating that a 1 percent increase in IHSG increases the outstanding value of corporate sukuk by 3.94 percent. The BI Rate does not have a significant effect, with a probability value of 0.405. Meanwhile, economic growth has a negative and significant effect, with a coefficient of −0.096 and a probability value of 0.000. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect the outstanding value of corporate sukuk, with an R-squared value of 0.735.

Abstract

This study examines EFL college students’ understanding and use of nouns, verbs, and adjectives in writing, with a focus on word class awareness. A mixed-methods design was employed involving 63 second-semester students from STKIP Muhammadiyah Aceh Barat Daya. Data were collected through a 15-item grammar test, a writing task (sentence construction and paragraph writing), and open-ended awareness questions. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. The results showed that students demonstrated a high level of understanding of nouns, verbs, and adjectives, with correct responses ranging from 82.8% to 100%. Noun and verb items showed slightly higher accuracy, while adjective-related items were relatively more challenging. In the writing task, most students were able to apply word class knowledge effectively in sentence and paragraph writing, although one student showed low performance. The awareness data indicated that all students understood the differences among word classes; however, adjectives were perceived as the most difficult category due to confusion with adverbs, adjective order, and limited vocabulary. Overall, the findings suggest that although students possess strong grammatical knowledge, adjective usage remains the most challenging area in both understanding and application. This highlights the need for integrating explicit grammar instruction with contextual writing practice.
