Abstract

A deep understanding of the mechanical properties of stainless steel is crucial for designing constructions that meet the requirements. However, to comprehensively understand the mechanical properties of stainless steel, sufficient testing is needed to gather data regarding its characteristics. In this research, an analysis was conducted on the Effect of Chemical Composition and Heat Treatment on the Mechanical Properties of Stainless Steel, using data from the Material Algorithm Project (MAP), which is a material database. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation to observe the relationships between these variables. The research results indicate that chemical elements such as Cu and Ni have a positive correlation with elongation, indicating that higher concentrations of these elements lead to higher elongation of stainless steel. Furthermore, it was also found that temperature has a strong negative correlation with yield strength (YS) and ultimate tensile strength (UTS), with correlation values of -0.71 and -0.86, respectively. Further analysis revealed that water quenching resulted in better ultimate tensile strength compared to air quenching. This research demonstrates that experimental material testing datasets not only validate experiments but can also actively be used in the analysis and design of more effective materials.

Abstract

Landslide that has done in the Chevron, Minas oil field area on 4A-54 pipeline section, resulted the failure at one of pipe supports of 12in and 8in pipe diameter. The Action is planned to remove pipe support number 2 which affected a landslide, and move pipe supports number 1 and 3 that is closer to pipe support number 2. For this reason, action is being taken to redesign the piping system so that the pipe line can function safely. Allowable piping design criteria are used based on the maximum distance between pipe supports and maximum stress based on ASME B31.3 standards not greater than 20,000 Psi. Based on the calculation results, the allowable maximum distance between 12 in pipe supports is 16.064 m. Base on stress simulation, the maximum combined tension and torsion stress on the pipeline at that distance is 17606.44 Psi, 12% less than the allowable stress. The combine stress in the pipe produce displacement of pipe in the x-axis direction of 0.074 m and -0.95o.

Abstract

Pada divisi Stone Crusher di PT. Lutvindo Wijaya Perkasa terjadi kondisi jumlah persediaan hasil produksi batu Splite yang sering kekurangan ataupun kelebihan karena batu gunung selalu melakukan aktivitas produksi setiap hari namun pemakaian pada aspal dan beton menggunakan sistem make to order, sehingga ketika pemakaian batu banyak, bisa mengakibatkan kekurangan. Dari pemakaian yang terjadi secara musiman, maka peneliti akan menentukan persediaan dengan metode Continuous Review System dengan model Q untuk menentukan jumlah biaya yang harus dikeluarkan agar lebih efisien. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode CRS dengan model Q, jumlah pemesanan optimal batu Splite 1/2 = 219 Ton, Safety Stock (SS) = 0, Reorder Point (r) = 4,313 Ton, dan total biaya persediaan = Rp. 15.106.391.598

Abstract

Pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan tertua, sudah ada sejak sebelum zaman kemerdekaan. Kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam pesantren diantaranya sholat wajib berjamaah, puasa wajib maupun sunah, mempelajari kitab kuning, dan membaca Al-Quran. Santri di pondok pesantren Al-muaayad mengalami kendala pada saat menggunakan meja yaitu desain terlalu pendek dan meja susah dibawa untuk berpindah-pindah. Dengan mengidentifikasi permaslahan yang ada, maka dilakukan perbaikan desain meja dengan memperhatikan aspek antropomeri agar lebih ergonomis dan TRIZ untuk menndapatkan solusi spesifik dalam perbaikan desian. Dari hasil peperhitungan dan solusi spesifik TRIZ diusulkan tiga desain dengan dimensi tinggi penyangga yang paling dekat 40 cm pangang papan 40 cm dan lebar papan 32cm, dan sudut kemiringan papan 30%. Adapun usulan yang terpilih dari ketiga usulan yaitu desain usulan ketiga.

Abstract

PT Mitra Energi Batam is one of the Gas Power Plants (PLTG) and regulates the electricity supply of Batam city with PT PLN-Batam. According to the tabulation of PT Mitra Energi Batam's production data from September 2022 to September 2023, the rolls-royce Gas Turbine Generator production engine has a downtime value of 805.60 hours. The purpose of the study is to find out the factors that cause high downtime and know how to minimize it. Using the proposed Overall Equipment Effectiveness method as a way to measure Losses due to production disruptions by taking six big loss and Fishbone diagrams to find the cause and effect of Losses that cause failure of machine or equipment operations. The results of the study of the highest OEE value in August 2023 were 98.54%, the lowest OEE value was in April 2023 which was 0%, the cause was severe damage to the power turbine blade which required engine replacement, but was constrained by the time of the engine spare delivery process. The six big Losses factor that contributed the most to the OEE value was idling minor stoppage with an average value of 8.83% and equipment failure Losses with an average value of 8.81%.

Abstract

The examination of tire damage can be categorized as part of vehicle maintenance with the aim of ensuring the tires are in good condition. Visual inspection using human observation has limitations, making it not always accurate and prone to errors in determining tire roadworthiness. This study designs a machine learning model using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with a ResNet-34 architecture to detect car tire damage. The parameters used in training this CNN model include the Adam optimizer, a learning rate of 0.0001, batch size 32, and 50 epochs. In this study, there are two predicted image classes: normal tires and damaged tires. The research results indicate that the CNN model with ResNet-34 architecture can predict both classes very well, as evidenced by the model evaluation results with an accuracy of 0.916, precision of 0.907, recall of 0.927, and an F1 score of 0.917. These results suggest that the CNN model with ResNet-34 architecture can be used as an effective tool for inspecting tire damage.

Abstract

Apotek merupakan suatu tempat pelayanan produk maupun jasa kefarmasian (obat-obatan) kepadamasyarakat. Pengelolaan apotek dilakukan oleh seorang Apoteker yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, serta penilaian terhadap kinerja apotek tersebut. Dalam pelaksanaanya di apotek tersebut terdapat beberapa kegiatan diantaranya mengelola data obat-obatan yang ada termasuk stok obat, pembelian obat dari distributor, penjualan obat kepada konsumen, menentukan kebijakan harga jual obat, serta laporan dalam bentuk rekapitulasi seluruh aktifitas penjualan dan pembelian obat yang terjadi pada apotek tersebut.Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat, pengolahan data-data dalam apotek tersebut perlu ditata dengan baik dan terkomputerisasi untuk membangun suatu manajeman apotek yang efektif, efisien, dan produktif.Sistem informasi yang dihasilkan memiliki kemampuan dalam mengelola data, menyimpan data (storage), mengolah data transaksi seperti proses input data transaksi (penjualan maupun pembelian obat), menyimpan ke dalam database, serta menghasilkan informasi yang dibutuhkan diantaranya berupa laporan pembelian, penjualan, maupun stok obat yang ada.

Abstract

Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam perekonomian suatu daerah. PDRB yang baik ditandai dengan: a) kontribusi sektor UMKM yang kuat, di mana UMKM memberikan kontribusi dalam penciptaan lapangan kerja dan meningkatkan daya beli masyarakat; b) kualitas dan keterampilan angkatan kerja yang produktif dan inovatif; c)tingkat inflasi yang rendah, di mana harga-harga barang dan jasa cenderung stabil, kemudahan dalam berinvestasi, dan adanya kesejahteraan dan kestabilan ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh jumlah UMKM, angkatan kerja, dan inflasi pada laju pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kota Padang. Dari hasil analisis regres, dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara simultan, Jumlah UMKM (X1), Angkatan Kerja (X2) dan Inflasi (X3) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Laju PDRB Kota Padang (Y). Berdasarkan hasil uji R2 dapat diketahui bahwa Jumlah UMKM (X1), Angkatan Kerja (X2) dan Inflasi (X3) mempengaruhi Laju PDRB Kota Padang (Y) hanya sebesar 40,12%, sementara sisanya dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

Production targets are the parameters for whether a mining company is successful or not in carrying out its activities to achieve profits every year, without forgetting occupational safety and health, which are two important factors in the movement of a mining industry. There are so many other factors such as weather factors, human factors, equipment factors and even the roads used by transport equipment that transports overburden materials and coal. By knowing the inhibiting factors and supporting factors to increase productivity and overcome obstacles that occur in the field so that the company's production targets can be achieved and exceed the expected targets. In order for the process of extracting overburden material to be maximized, it is necessary to calculate the required number of loading and conveying equipment, as well as the effective time used in mining activities. Based on this information, the author took the title regarding a study of the productivity of the Komatsu PC 2000 Excavator digging and loading equipment and the Komatsu HD 785-7 Dump Truck transport equipment in overburden stripping at the TSBC Pit, Tambang Air laya, PT. Abstract

Power window system is a series of electrical body system that functions to facilitate the driver when opening and closing the glass door electrically by using a power window switch mounted on the inside side of the door, where the manual power window system driver must rotate the glass opening lever to raise and lower the door glass. The power window motor rotates when the power window switch is pressed. The power window motor rotation will turn up and down through the door glass regulator to open or close the door glass. The power window application process includes preparation of component placement design and preparation of materials to be used such as motor power windows, relays, fuses and switches, after all is ready, then the installation of components such as motor power windows to the regulator which has been modified in the form of additional plates for the holder The motor, after the power window regulator is ready, then assembles the electrical system and the installation of connections or sockets to each component. After the regulator and the electrical system are ready then install the switch holder on the door trim that has been prepared. The results of the power window application obtained power window can work in accordance with its function using a switch, namely the glass door can move up and down according to the position of the switch button pressed on each switch and from the results of the measurement process that the average voltage requirement for the power window to the position goes up 11.5 V while the position goes down 12V. The average time needed to raise the glass on the door 3.63 seconds and to lower the glass door takes 2.78 seconds
