Abstract

Job satisfaction and retention are important factors for an organization in determining its success, this is because job satisfaction and retention can affect the performance of an employee where the employee's performance itself has an important role for the success of an organization's performance. This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and retention of hospital staff in West Sulawesi Province in 2017. This study used a cross sectional study design. The data in this study used secondary data from Risnakes 2017 with a sample of 244 respondents. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analysis. In the bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test with a CI 95% and a degree of significance of 5%. The results showed that the hospital staff who felt satisfied was 51.2% and the hospital staff who wanted to keep working were 85.2%. The results of the Chi-Square test obtained a p-value of 0.011 (p-value <0.05) so that the conclusion of this study is that job satisfaction has a significant relationship with retention of hospital staff in West Sulawesi Province in 2017. It is recommended for all hospitals in the Province West Sulawesi, in order to improve human resource management, should increase monitoring and evaluation activities, review job satisfaction and retention factors, and use related studies as references in implementing strategies to increase job satisfaction and retention.

Abstract

Introduction: Cesarean Section is a surgical operation for delivering a child by cutting through the wall of abdomen and uterus. Mothers after cesarean section must do early mobilization because will get many benefit, namely preventing tombosis in the leg vessels and helping the mother progress from sick dependence to health. Early mobilization is a movement, position or activity carried out by the mother after a few hours of delivery. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the level of knowledge and mother's attitude in early mobilization post cesarean section in the Dara Room of RSUD Wangaya Denpasar. Method: This research is a non-experimental study with a correlational research method. The sample in this study was 35 respondents with purposive sampling technique. Result: The results showed that most respondents had a good level of knowledge, namely 16 respondents (45.7%), 14 respondents (40.0%) and less 4 respondents (14.3%). Results of data analysis with Spearman rank results obtained p = 0.000. Because the p value <α (0.05). So it can be concluded that there is correlation between the level of knowledge and mother's attitude in early mobilization post sectio cesarean in the Dara Room of RSUD Wangaya Denpasar. Discussion: Suggestions, especially mothers after cesarean section to immediately carry out early mobilization considering the importance of early mobilization after cesarean section.

Abstract

Activities in the laboratory are directly related to learning media, one of which is injection props. The high need for borrowing and using teaching aids and the existence of nursing laboratory standards make PLP have to innovate related to finding new alternatives to complement the shortage of teaching aids. This study aims to determine the reliability of modified injection phantom in improving the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of students in practical activities in the nursing laboratory. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Nursing, University of Riau, in March – November 2020. The samples in this study were 20 students and 5 lecturers. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), the steps that researchers use in research and development of learning media refer to the design developed by Borg and Gall. The results of this study indicate that the modified injection phantom developed is considered to be able to be used as a phantom or alternative injection props based on existing needs and the media that has been developed can be used for practicum because it has a good general and special appearance. Suggestions for further researchers are expected to be able to develop modified injection phantom learning media in order to improve existing prototypes

Abstract

The amount of statistical data is increasing day by day, this needs to be anticipated for people's behaviour to live clean and healthy, such as washing hands, wearing masks, and maintaining distance. This behaviour can be carried out by a Betty Neument community nursing assessment with a Community as Partner approach. This article describes the behaviour of the COVID-19 community, core data, environment, health services, transportation, and recreation safety. Methods: The study used an analytical descriptive evaluation approach describing the behaviour of the community during the COVID-19 pandemics. The data was collected using a google form to the participating Kebumen community. It was written that the confidentiality of the sample was maintained by randomized families who wanted to provide information on COVID-19 with an Android mobile phone, the number of samples participating was 120 people. Research results: For the core data age as respondents 41-60 years 66 families (54%), male sex 94 families (79%), high school education 48 families (40%). Home environment 98 families (82%) always maintain the cleanliness of the residence, in a densely populated 54 families (45%). Meanwhile, health services sprayed sometimes 61 families (51%), who participated in health counselling 46 families (38%). Safety transportation wearing masks 22 families (18%), always leaving the house doing geographic mobilization of families there were 46 families (38%). Family recreation activities during the COVID-19 pandemic held a gathering of 2 families (2%), visiting out of town to a family place where there were 13 families (11%). The assessment using the Betty Neument method with the Community as Partner approach can be used to see the healthy behaviour of COVID-19.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic which occurs in all countries including Indonesia has forced Administrative Body for Health (BPJS) to adapt to new service patterns that continuously pay attention to health protocols without reducing the quality of service that has been running well. Mobile National Health Insurance (JKN) is one of the most effective alternatives that BPJS can currently use to continue its services in the current condition. This study aims to determine the level of community satisfaction with BPJS online registration on the mobile JKN application during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This was a descriptive study. The population was all BPJS participants in Cirebon District in 2021 who have downloaded the JKN mobile application as many as 129,357 participants. Determination of sample size used the Slovin formula which obtained 100 respondents taken by accidental sampling technique. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis in the form of a percentage. The results showed that most respondents (73%) were satisfied with the BPJS online registration on the Mobile JKN application during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected that Administrative Body for Health of Cirebon District Branch will conduct socialization and demonstrations through print, electronic and radio media to be more intensified regarding the use of the Mobile JKN application.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease characterized by high blood sugar levels. Type 2 DM is the most common.The reason is due to an unhealthy lifestyle, several attempts to reduce trigger factors such as regulating diet, weight control, exercising, monitoring blood sugar, directed diet, healthy and balanced nutrition. In addition, family support also affects the quality of life of DM patients. The purpose of this study was to describe the pattern of life (diet, physical activity) and family support in patients with type 2 diabetes. This research method used descriptive analytic with cross sectional design. Thesample of this study was 131 patients who were taken based on the inclusion criteria using purposive sampling. Results: Most patients were aged 56-65 years (36.6%) and mostly suffered by men (52.7%), respondents who experienced complications (91.6%) and most suffered by men (99, 9%) while the type of complication is numbness (peripheral nephropathy) (69.5%). The patient's lifestyle showed a good lifestyle (81.7) and family support showed good family support (98.5). Conclusion: A good lifestyle can also be influenced by good family support so that it makes sufferers more enthusiastic to apply healthy patterns in daily life.

Abstract

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, blood pressure management control which is usually carried out at the Puskesmas is recommended to be measured or home monitored to prevent the transmission of Covid- 19. The third highest case which happened in Puskesmas Lima Puluh Kota is hypertension. The purpose of this study was to analyze hypertensive patient on Self Management and blood pressure monitoring at Puskesmas Lima Puluh Kota in Pekanbaru city. The descriptive desained study patient with hypertention involves 66respondent with probability sampling technique.The measuring instrument used was the Hypertension Self-Management Behavior Quetionnaire (HSMBQ, while the instrument for controlling blood pressure uses the measurement of the respondent's blood pressure in the last month. The statistical test used in this study is the frequency distribution. The resultsshowed that self management was moderate category 66.7% and blood pressurecontrol was in the majority of patients hypertension patients is not controlled, namely 68.2%. Suggestions for health services to provide health education to patient with hypertension about self-management so that patients do not have a relapse who are at risk of being easily infected with covid 19

Abstract

Pemerintah telah menetapkan bahwa pandemic Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) sebagai bencana non-alam. Hingga tahun 2021 Pandemi covid-19 masih berlanjut melanda Indonesia dan memerlukan penanganan lanjutan, khususnya dengan secara aktif mendorong penegakkan protokol kesehatan dan kesiapan masyarakat untuk melakukan vaksinasi. Tingkat kepatuhan masyarakat terhadap protokol kesehatan 3M yaitu memakai masker, menjaga jarak dan mencuci tangan,masih belum memuaskan. Selain itu, untuk membangun kepercayaan publik terhadap vaksin baru memang bukan pekerjaan yang mudah. Apalagi vaksinasi ini banyak dianggap sebagai “hajat” pemerintah. Bahkan ada pihak-pihak yang mencurigai terdapat motivasi bisnis dibalik vaksinasi. Diperlukan komunikasi publik untuk memberikan informasi, mengedukasi dan mempersuasi publik agar mematuhi protocol Kesehatan dan bersedia untuk divaksin saat vaksin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui komunikasi publik terkait vaksinasi covid 19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah keberhasilan program vaksinasi Covid-19 bergantung pada banyak faktor, dan komunikasi publik menjadi salah satu kunci keberhasilan tersebut.

Abstract

In line with the health development strategy to realize a healthy nation by 2025, improving health status is one of the focuses of development in the health sector to create a healthy society, development in the health sector is directed at all levels of society to realize the Vision of Healthy Indonesia 2025. The role of health workers is obliged to facilitate in achievement of that goal. Therefore, an assessment of health problems was carried out which took place from January 25, 2021 to February 9, 2021, which was held in Kemang Indah Village. The purpose of this activity is to analyze or see the picture of public health in Kemang Indah Village in 2021. Based on 272 families that got several problems, namely 1% of families do not have latrines available, 47% of people do not do physical activity at least 30 minutes per day, 17% of people do not consume vegetables and fruit, 64% of people do not have a health check in 6 months, 35% of people still smoke at home, and 72% of people who do not manage stress.

Abstract

Low back pain is the musculoskeletal disorders caused by poor body activity. The purpose of this research is to know the factors related to low back pain complaints on welding workers at PT X Batam City. This type of research uses descriptive analytical and uses a quantitative approach using a cross sectional design. The sample in this study were 85 workers in the Welding section of PT X. The sampling technique in this study is Total Sampling and statistical analysis using Chi-Square test. The results of the research from 85 respodents found that 48 respondents (56,5%) had experienced low back pain. Respondents with age category over 35 years were 48 respondents (56,6%), Respondents with BMI category overweight were 35 respondents (41,2%), Respondents with smoking category were 59 respondents (69,4%), respondents with working period of more than 5 years were 54 respondents (36,5%), Responden with awkward working position category as many as 56 respondens (65,9%). The results of the analysis show that there is a relation between individual factors (age, BMI, smoking habit and years of work) with complaints of low back pain (p-value 0,000) and a relation between job factors (working position) with complaints of low back pain (p-value 0,000).
