Abstract

AREK, or Asistif Rompi Elektronik Kambang, is a safety tool for blind people to help them swim and exercise. Blind people have so many problems with swimming exercises. They can sink or be guided in the middle of training. AREK can give the entry-level blind swimmer a GPS-like system that is safe from sinking incidents and accidents. Trainers can only make close contact with swimmers during the COVID-19 pandemic with a safety system and GPS guide. Level-blind swimmers can train safely in the middle of the swimming pool. Especially for students who experience special needs. The approach used is Research and Development (RD). Products using the ADDIE process remain one of the most effective tools today. Because the ADDIE model is a process that serves as a guiding framework for complex situations, it is appropriate to develop AREK to be more accessible to learners' diverse characteristics and special needs. The results in this study using AREK are very feasible, with a feasibility test by two validators with a result of 3.25 and tested by 15 blind vocational students with a result of 3.58. The conclusion is that the development of learning models is stated to be usable in blind and decent vocational students.

Abstract

The learning achievement in the field of safety, occupational health, and environmental protection (K3LH) material is suboptimal, even though in the industrial sector, it serves as the fundamental knowledge for establishing a healthy and safe working environment. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the procedure for developing an Android-based K3LH e-module, assess the feasibility of the e-modules, evaluate their practicality, and ascertain their effectiveness by measuring student competency scores. The research methodology employs the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) approach model, involving 37 respondents who are 10th-grade students specializing in Information and Communication Technology Competency at SMK Ma'arif NU Paguyangan. The outcomes revealed that the e-module demonstrated a high level of feasibility, as determined through expert validation, comprehensive features, and user-friendly design. The module's practicality was also substantiated by user data, indicating a high level of practicality. Furthermore, the increased competency results indicated the effectiveness of the presented modules. In conclusion, this research establishes that the developed e-module effectively enhances student competence in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) material. It offers several advantages, including comprehensive features, the inclusion of mini-games that pique student interest in module utilization, and easy accessibility, which allows for more flexible exploration of the material.

Abstract

The quality of management in the practical workshop area determines the quality of practical activities in it. Teachers need to prepare a good workshop implementation process by paying attention to everything, starting from the effectiveness of implementation to achieving implementation that provides good habits for students in it. In this case, the thing that is being considered is the implementation of the 5S/5R culture. This research uses Research and Development using the ADDIE development model. The assessment of the suitability of the media being developed is carried out by a judgment expert. The product trial was carried out at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga with 36 students in the experimental class. Data collection from experts uses material and media validation instruments for product suitability, while data collection on application to students uses teacher assessment through observation instruments and checklist data by researchers to test product effectiveness. The results of this research show (1) that the product developed is a module for management of tools and materials for Vocational High School concrete workshops; (2) The product is declared valid and reliable using the Aiken v test and expert percentage. (3) the module was developed practically based on responses from Experts/Validators consisting of lecturers and teachers practicing Construction and Housing Engineering (4) effectiveness testing using the N Gain test showed that the data for the experimental and control classes had increased with a percentage of 47.59%.

In order to anticipate this, education has an important role because, through education the formation of national character with noble character can be realized. One method that can be used by teachers in the process of forming student character is implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in schools which contains values and character so this research is very important and urgent to be carried out immediately. Naposo Nauli Bulung local wisdom is local wisdom in the South Tapanuli area, North Sumatra which contains many good character values that are preserved by the people of South Tapanuli. This local wisdom is specifically for young people so they can work together to solve problems in society.
