Abstract

The HJ177 substaion in its loading datareached 126.10% (± 63,054 kVA) of its capacity of 50 kVAwith an end voltaicge of 206 V and experienced avoltage dropge of 12%. The loading exceeded the maximum capacity of the stanord transformer of 80%, which has the potential for materialand finalncial losses for PT PLN (Persero) Kertosono Customer Service Unit (ULP). The voltalge drop resulting from this has exceeded SPLNT6.001-2013 of -±10% for low voltagege. Considering the matrix in the Health Index aassessment tier-1 Distribution Transformer, willingted to the percentage of tranformer loading, it's in the bald caBeca's categoryuse it is loaded ≥100%. To overcome this, an insert transformer caln be installed. With the originl load from 126.10% to 46.942% of the 50kVAcapacity, then the end voltage at the HJ177 Substation with the insertion of the transformer was originallly 206 V with avoltage drop of 12.0% increased to 213 V with avoltage drop percentage that decreased to 8.2%. The implementation of the transformer insertion for the HJ177 substation is effective in overcoming overloadyesnd improving the end voltage

Abstract

The Current developments in information technology and the internet have changed the way people communicate and interact, including in the education sector. One technology that supports this progress is Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), which offers a communication solution at a lower cost compared to traditional telecommunications technology. This journal discusses the implementation of VoIP technology using the Debian Linux operating system and Asterisk software in the Telkom 1 Medan Vocational School environment. This research uses a Star network topology with components such as a laptop as a VoIP server, Mikrotik as a switch, and a smartphone as a client. The research method includes installing Debian 9 on VMware, configuring Asterisk, and setting up a VoIP client using the PortSIP UC and 3CXPhone applications. The research results show that the implemented VoIP technology can make voice and video calls well, as well as optimize bandwidth usage. This technology has proven to be efficient and economical, and can be adopted in various environments including education and offices. Suggestions for further development include implementation on IP Phone devices and local networks and the wider internet.

Abstract

Solar energy is one of the renewable energy sources that has great potential to be developed, especially in efforts to achieve sustainable development goals. Bandar Selamat Village has geographical conditions that allow the use of solar energy as an alternative energy source. This study aims to analyze the potential of solar energy in Bandar Selamat Village and evaluate its feasibility as the main energy source. The research methodology includes a collecting data on sunlight intensity, incident angle, and cloud distribution in the area. The data is analyzed to determine the potential for solar energy that can be generated. In addition, this study also evaluates the efficiency of solar panels and energy storage systems that can be used in Bandar Selamat Village. An economic analysis was conducted to examine the initial investment costs, operating costs, and long-term economic benefits of implementing Solar Power Plants (PLTS). The results of the study show that Bandar Selamat Village has significant solar energy potential with fairly high sunlight intensity throughout the year. The efficiency of the solar panels used in the simulation also showed adequate results to support local energy needs. In terms of economy, although the initial investment costs are relatively high, long-term economic benefits such as savings in electricity costs and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions can provide substantial benefits to the local community. This paper described a study concludes that solar energy has great potential to be developed as the main energy source in Bandar Selamat Village. To realize this, adequate policy support is needed, as well as increased infrastructure and public awareness of the benefits of renewable energy. Thus, Bandar Selamat Village can be an example of the implementation of sustainable clean energy at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of E-Service Quality and E-Trust on E-Loyalty among Shopee app users in South Jakarta, with E-Satisfaction as a mediating variable. The sample was obtained using probability sampling and consists of 104 respondents.Using a quantitative approach and SEM-PLS analysis, this study reveals interesting findings. The results show that both E-Service Quality and E-Trust have a significant and positive effect on E-Satisfaction among Shopee users. Furthermore, this study also proves that E-Satisfaction is a key factor in increasing E-Loyalty. E-Service Quality has been proven to directly and indirectly (through E-Satisfaction) influence E Loyalty. However, the results also show that E-Trust does not directly affect E-Loyalty when mediated by E-Satisfaction. This finding indicates that although trust is an important factor in building customer relationships, its influence on loyalty is more focused on increasing customer satisfaction first. Overall, this study makes a significant contribution to understanding the dynamics of the relationship between service quality, trust, satisfaction, and customer loyalty in the context of e-Commerce. The findings can be a reference for e-Commerce companies, especially Shopee, in formulating more effective strategies to increase customer loyalty. By focusing on improving service quality and building customer trust, companies can create a more satisfying shopping experience, which will ultimately increase customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of portfolio optimization using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Multi Index Model in LQ45 companies. The research utilizes monthly stock data that consistently appear in the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2022. Seventeen stocks were selected: ADRO, ASII, BBCA, BBNI, BBRI, BMRI, ICBP, INCO, INDF, INTP, KLBF, MNCN, PTBA, SMGR, TLKM, UNTR, and UNVR. The data was collected from January 2012 to December 2022. Using the CAPM model, no optimal portfolio was formed. However, using the Multi Index Model, an optimal portfolio was formed consisting of four stocks: INDF, INTP, MNCN, and TLKM, generating a return of 0.28% and a risk of 1.29%. This study concludes that the Multi Index Model is capable of demonstrating optimal portfolio results.

Abstract

In this research, the aim is to analyze the reliability of the protection system at the Steam Power Plant (PLTU) at PT. Indah Pontjan. The protection system is a crucial component in PLTU operations, which functions to protect equipment and systems from interference and ensure operational safety. In this research, the reliability evaluation method is used to assess the effectiveness of the existing protection system. Analysis is carried out through operational data collection, protection system inspection, and simulation of various disturbance scenarios. The research results show that the reliability of the protection system at PLTU PT. Indah Pontjan already meets industry standards, but there are still several areas that require improvement. Some important findings include the detection of discrepancies in protection coordination, the need for improved protection devices, and the importance of further training for system operators. Recommendations are provided to strengthen the protection system, including the addition of modern protection devices, increased routine maintenance, and implementation of regular training programs. By increasing the reliability of the protection system, it is hoped that PLTU PT. Indah Pontjan can operate more safely and efficiently, reducing the risk of equipment damage and minimizing operational downtime. This research makes an important contribution to the development of a more reliable and effective protection system for the steam power generation industry.

Abstract

This study analyzes customer behavior on three most visited e-commerce platforms in Indonesia (Shopee, Tokopedia, and Lazada) using the RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) model and K-Means clustering techniques. Amidst the digital transformation and rapid growth of e-commerce, significant changes in customer behavior highlight the importance of accurate and relevant customer segmentation. The study integrates demographic, psychographic, and purchasing behavior analysis, employing stratified random sampling to collect data over 6 months from 100 respondents on each e-commerce platform. The results revealed six customer clusters, each with distinct characteristics. These clusters were further analyzed to develop specific and effective marketing strategies tailored to customer behavior and preferences on each e-commerce platform.

Abstract

This Study Aims To Analysed And Compare The Effects Of Linear And Nonlinear Loads On The Performance Of A Three-Phase Synchronous Generator. Linear Loads, Characterized By A Proportional Relationship Between Voltage And Current, And Nonlinear Loads, Which Produce Harmonic Distortion In Current And Voltage, Can Affect The Stability And Efficiency Of Generator Operation. In This Study, Various Loading Scenarios Were Tested Using A Software-Based Simulation Model. The Results Of The Analysis Show That Nonlinear Loads Cause A Significant Increase In Harmonic Distortion In The System, Which Has The Potential To Reduce The Efficiency And Operational Life Of The Generator. In Contrast, Linear Loads Tend To Produce More Stable And Efficient Generator Performance. These Findings Provide Important Insights Into The Design And Selection Of Appropriate Loads To Maintain Optimal Performance Of Three-Phase Synchronous Generators.

Abstract

In the era of the industrial revolution, the use of technology to increase safety and efficiency in various fields is increasingly growing. One important application is an automatic smoke detection system that can prevent fires effectively. This paper described an analyze the performance of an Arduino Uno-based automatic smoke detection tool which can turn the system on and off automatically. This tool is designed to detect the presence of smoke using the MQ-2 sensor and provide a response in the form of activating the alarm and fire extinguishing system.This system consists of several main components: an MQ-2 sensor to detect smoke, an Arduino Uno microcontroller as the main controller, a relay module to control external devices, and a buzzer alarm as a fire indication. When the sensor detects smoke, the data is sent to the Arduino Uno which then processes the signal and activates the alarm and fire extinguishing system via the relay module, also evaluates the effectiveness and reliability of the smoke detection system by conducting a series of trials in various environmental conditions. The test results show that this tool is able to detect smoke quickly and accurately, and provide a timely response in activating the security system. The system can be set to turn devices on and off automatically, increasing efficiency and reducing the risk of human error.

Abstract

This paper analysed the reliability of the 20 kV distribution system at PT. PLN ULP Tanjung-balai. The reliability of the electricity distribution system is crucial to ensure a stable power supply with minimal interruptions to consumers. The study aims to identify and evaluate the factors affecting the reliability of the 20 kV distribution network and propose solutions to enhance the system's reliability. The methods used in this study include the collection of historical outage data, analysis of network performance, and calculation of reliability indices such as SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index), SAIFI (System Average Interruption Frequency Index), and CAIDI (Customer Average Interruption Duration Index). Additionally, the study utilizes network analysis software to simulate the operational conditions of the distribution network. The results of the study indicate that the reliability of the distribution system at PT. PLN ULP Tanjungbalai requires improvement, particularly in reducing the frequency and duration of power outages. Several identified causes of outages include extreme weather conditions, equipment failures, and external factors such as animals or vegetation. To improve system reliability, several actions are recommended, such as more intensive preventive maintenance, modernization of distribution equipment, and enhanced monitoring of the distribution network.
