Abstract

Medan Aviation Polytechnic is a civil service college under the auspices of the Ministry of Transportation, especially in the air dimension. Medan Aviation Polytechnic is equipped with various complete educational facilities. However, security issues arise when cadets try to exploit vulnerabilities in the area to escape the campus. The purpose of PIDS is to detect and provide early warning of infiltration attempts in the campus area. This system is designed to integrate with various technology components such as the web and telegram bots as direct notifications and warnings to security officers, thereby increasing the security of Medan Aviation Polytechnic cadets. The method used in this research is by conducting research design, tool design, providing tool components and conducting system testing when the tool as a whole has been completed. The results of this study indicate that the system runs according to the desired design, where notifications are made with documentation in the form of camera portrait images and live streaming with a USB Webcam integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI). If there is movement detected, it will send the portrait results to Telegram and issue an alarm on the buzzer and live streaming can be accessed on the available website.

Abstract

This study explores the use of Big Data in personalizing online learning in higher education, focusing on student access and engagement patterns in e-learning platforms. The main problem faced is the inefficiency in monitoring student engagement, which impacts academic outcomes. The solution offered is learning analytics analysis using clustering and classification techniques to personalize learning materials. Data is taken from student activities on e-learning platforms for one semester. Data processing is done using machine learning tools such as K-Means Clustering and Decision Tree. The results show that active engagement in e-learning platforms is associated with better academic performance, where students with higher access frequencies tend to have better grades. The visualization graph shows the trend of access intensity in the evenings and weekends, as well as the positive relationship between access duration and exam scores. With a Big Data-based system, institutions can improve the online learning experience and provide more personalized recommendations to support student academic success

Abstract

The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) seeks to realize good governance through bureaucratic reform and the use of digital technology in public services, especially with the implementation of e-office. This study aims to analyze the effect of e-office policy implementation on land services at the Bandung Regency Land Office. The method used is an explanatory survey with respondents consisting of e-office administrators. The results showed that the implementation of the e-office policy was able to improve the efficiency of land services, although there were obstacles such as lack of staff training and ineffective communication. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of leadership support, employee training, and the provision of adequate facilities to improve service quality. It is hoped that this research can serve as a reference for the development of better service policies and practices in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of rice husk charcoal and goat manure solid organic fertilizer to the growth and production of corn (Zea mays). This study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 treatment factors and 3 blocks. The first factor is rice husk charcoal with each dose of A0 = 0 kg/plot, A1 = 1 kg/plot and A2 = 2 kg/plot. The second factor is the provision of goat manure solid organic fertilizer with each dose of K0 = 0 kg/plot, K1 = 1 kg/plot, K2 = 2 kg/plot and K3 = 3 kg/plot. Observation data were analyzed using analysis of variance and continued with the Duncant test. The parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, number of cobs per sample, number of cobs per block, cob weight per sample and cob weight per block. The results of the study showed that the provision of rice husk charcoal and solid organic fertilizer of goat manure had a very significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of cobs per sample, number of cobs per block, weight of cobs per sample and weight of cobs per block. In the interaction of the combination of treatments between the provision of rice husk charcoal and solid organic fertilizer of goat manure did not have a significant effect on all parameters observed.

Abstract

This thesis is the result of research on Conflict Management of the North Sulawesi Provincial Kesbangpolda Agency with a case study of conflict handling between community organizations of the Muslim Solidarity Agency (BSM) and the Manguni Makasiouw traditional forces in Bitung City, North Sulawesi Province. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis method with data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn.From the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the conflict management carried out is adequate. The causes of conflict can be known to be individual differences due to underage members who have unstable emotions, provocateurs who use diversity to pit people against each other, external influences (conflict between Israel and Palestine), and the use of social media that is not balanced with an understanding of the issues from outside. Then it can be seen that the obstacles are budget, human resources and science and technology, while the supporters are infrastructure, science and technology, regulations, political conditions, and a safe and controlled situation.Thus, the advice that can be given by the author is that the North Sulawesi Provincial Government, in this case the Kesbangpolda Agency of North Sulawesi Province, must be ready to maintain harmony between religious communities and between mass organizations by paying attention to the North Sulawesi motto “Sitou Timou Tumou Tou” by being able to utilize current science and technology in an effort to implement consensus through technology, sufficient budgeting to facilitate public understanding of the forms and impacts of conflict, prepare adequate human resources in preventing and handling conflicts, and pay attention to the membership of mass organizations that are still underage.

Abstract

The increasing demand for electricity and the efforts to reduce the environmental impact of waste drive the development of biomass-based power plants. This research analyzes the potential of utilizing waste as raw material for biomass briquettes to generate electricity. The waste used consists of organic materials processed into briquettes with specific characteristics, such as moisture content, calorific value, and density, to optimize combustion. The study was conducted as a case study on a small-scale biomass-based power plant. An analysis results show that waste briquettes have significant potential as a renewable energy source with relatively high conversion efficiency. Utilizing waste briquettes not only reduces the volume of waste sent to landfills but also lowers greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil fuels. This study provides recommendations for improving briquette production technology and optimizing combustion systems to achieve better efficiency in biomass power plants.

Abstract

With the development of technology, there are some basic things that must be known and learned about airplanes, one of which is the exterior lighting system where the functions and uses vary. Exterior lighting plays an important role in airplanes on land and in the air and is a basic thing in knowing this exterior lighting system such as the layout, color and function of the lighting. For this reason, research and the creation of exterior lighting indicators on airplanes based on Arduino Atmega 2560 were conducted. In the research and creation of this tool, the main input from this tool is an adapter that produces a voltage of 5 V. Then there are 8 toggle switches that function as switches for each LED. In general, when the toggle switch is in the ON condition, the current and voltage have been sent to the system as a whole. Then the Arduino Atmega 2560 will process the inputted data. Furthermore, the Arduino Atmega 2560 sends the processed data to each LED so that the LED can light up according to its function and use. For the information generated such as each LED is on or not can be seen on the LCD. The results of functional testing show that the design is able to carry out the function of each LED. The design has a flash rate of beacon light of 45 times per minute and a flash rate of strobe light of 60 times per minute. Taxi light, Logo light, Landing light, Navigation light, Takeoff light, Runway light and Wing light do not have a flash rate or are steady. There is a time difference or delay between the wings strobe light and the tail strobe light of 1 second. The indicator can display information if there is damage to the LED.

Abstract

The Gorontalo Provincial Liaison Agency in Jakarta as an extension of the Gorontalo Provincial Government in the Center of the National Capital, was formed based on Gorontalo Governor Regulation Number 81 of 2016 concerning the Position, Organizational Structure, Duties and Functions and Work Procedures of the Liaison Agency. The Liaison Agency is known as a Regional Apparatus Organization with the task of Facilitating Leadership Services because what is seen and considered optimal in achieving its performance is the Institutional Relations Facilitation Sub Sector. Meanwhile, the implementation of the duties of the Promotion and Information Facilitation Sub-Sector as well as the Administration Sub-Section which is part of the operational process of governance of the Gorontalo Province Liaison Agency in Jakarta, is considered not to be effective and efficient in achieving the assigned performance. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Gorontalo Province Liaison Agency in Jakarta. This study uses a descriptive research design with qualitative methods. Informants were obtained through purposive and snowball sampling techniques using the Miles and Huberman Model Interactive data analysis as a performance analysis tool based on theory according to T.R Mitchell (1978:343) in (Sedarmayanti, 2001:51) which has 5 (five) Employee Performance Indicators, namely Quality Work, Punctuality, Initiative, Ability and communication. The results of this study show that the performance of ASN at the Gorontalo Province Liaison Agency in Jakarta based on the implementation of Job Analysis and Workload Analysis given to each ASN can be completed well. Looking at the results of this study, in order to optimize and efficiently carry out tasks by ASN Gorontalo Province Liaison Agency in Jakarta, through appreciation and support from leadership in maintaining ASN work motivation, fulfilling work facilities and infrastructure, improving ASN welfare, providing equal opportunities to It is hoped that every ASN can develop and improve their abilities through education and training as well as promotions.

Abstract

The use of wayang as a learning medium is carried out through storytelling activities. Please note that wayang here is not in a physical sense, but in a non-physical form. The teacher simply tells puppet stories that contain good values and teaches the characters of the puppet characters for students to emulate, for example the story about Yudistira, the eldest brother of the Pandavas, who was wise, responsible and had the spirit of a leader. Through this wayang story, students can learn various wayang characters that are appropriate to those that are not worthy of being emulated while also cultivating knowledge about Indonesian cultural treasures. The focus of this research is 1) How the characters of the Punakawan wayang are in wayang 2) How to analyze the values of Islamic education in the characters of the Punakawan wayang. This research uses qualitative research with the type of literature review research or often called library research. So in collecting data using primary data sources and secondary data. Data collection techniques use Desktop Research, Documentation Study. Meanwhile, the analysis technique is carried out by means of discussion material based on a literature review of works, whether in the form of books or other readings related to this writing. Punakawan puppets consist of semar, gareng, petruk, bagong. Whereas from respectively figure the have character individually. Semar have character in wayang, namely: respected by friends and foes alike, Semar is a respected figure, but remains humble, not arrogant, honest and still loves others. Gareng has a character in wayang: a person who is not good at talking, what he says is sometimes awry but he is very funny and ridiculous. Petruk has a character in wayang: mischievous and intelligent, sweet-faced with a smile that dances to the heart, good at talking, very funny, likes to insinuate untruths with his jokes. Bagong has deep character wayang: likes to joke when facing very serious problems, sassy, likes to act stupid, very funny.

Abstract

The increasing number of tall buildings being built in the modern era now. Making it increasingly important to calculate accurate and comprehensive structures in accordance with applicable regulations, especially the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) and of course the building to be built is safe from all potential structural failures and the most efficient reinforcement used. In the Irian Supermarket Building project, Setia Budi Medan, an analysis of the level of safety of the floor slab structure is required in accordance with SNI 2847-2019 and an analysis of the most efficient reinforcement that can be used in the floor slab structure of the Irian Supermarket Building, Setia Budi Medan. And the formulation of the problem discussed is the level of safety of the building structure and the most efficient reinforcement that can be used. The research method is carried out using the case study method where the collection of field data and additional data, data is processed in accordance with SNI 2847-2019 and for reinforcement efficiency is done by increasing the distance between the reinforcements. The result is the value of As needed: 652.4 mm2 < As used: 670.4 mm2 for flexural reinforcement (2Ø8-150) and As needed: 455.4 mm2 < As used: 502.4 mm2 for shear reinforcement (2Ø8-200) so that the reinforcement used is safe to use while the total deflection: 16.6 mm > allowable deflection: 6.68 mm and ϕVc: 58650 N/mm > Vu: 32823.07 N/mm so that the thickness of the plate used is 120 mm safe to use. However, reinforcement efficiency cannot be done because the value of As needed: 652.4 mm2 > As used: 455.4 mm2 for flexural reinforcement (2Ø8-200) and As needed: 455.4 mm2 > As used: 401.92 mm2 for shear reinforcement (2Ø8-250) so that reinforcement efficiency cannot be carried out.
