Abstract

Acknowledgements the researcher would like to express gratitude to God Almighty who has bestowed His love and Grace so that this research report can be completed properly. In this report, the researcher determines the title, namely the influence of parents in the Problem Based Instruction learning of Indonesian Language, model in improving the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 153025 Simargarap, North Sumatera. Abstract

This study describes the implementation of Islamic religious education curriculum development in PAI subjects with Fiqh material at Ad-Damanhuri Middle School during a pandemic. The method chosen in this study is a qualitative method. The data of this study were obtained from the results of recording by the teacher's notes. The data analysis technique used in this research is to classify, combine, interpret and conclude. The results of this study are curriculum development has the principles of relevance, continuity, practicality and effectiveness. The implementation of the curriculum at Ad-Damanhuri Middle School during this pandemic uses the national curriculum by taking into account various aspects.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the students’ 4C skills based on the Pedagogy Multiliteracies model implemented by the teachers in the classroom. The teachers are not familiar yet with the pedagogy multiliteracies model by Cope and Kalantzis which has four syntaxes of teaching; Situated Practice, Overt Instruction, Critical Framing, and Transformed Practice. The researchers need to reveal how the teachers’ teaching process is based on the model then relate them to the students’ 4C skills. The subjects of the research are the teachers of English, Mathematics, and Bahasa Indonesia from two Senior High Schools in Sidoarjo. There are six teachers; three from the state and another from the private school. They belong to the best schools in the city. Observation, interviews, and questionnaires are used to collect the research data. The research shows that the student's critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills were on the low level since the teachers did not implement the teaching-learning process as the concept of the multiliteracies model yet. The collaboration skills were good enough since the teachers often design group works to complete the tasks. The teachers should try to teach using the multiliteracies pedagogy framework to enhance the students’ 4C skills in this century.

Abstract

he application of social distancing as the main factor for the new normal creates its own challenges for the world of education, which is usually a face-to-face meeting between teachers/lecturers and their students/students in a pleasant atmosphere turning into online learning. Education must be implemented in the implementation of the teaching and learning process in the new era Normal activities can still be carried out without reducing the meaning of learning and ignoring the role of the teacher/lecturer as a teacher. Based on these problems, the online learning model is the main recommendation in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the use of learning models in improving student learning outcomes in the new normal. This research uses qualitative analysis. The research was conducted on campus with the research subjects of lecturers and students. Data collection tools using questionnaires, research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. In this study, it was concluded that lecturers must make and implement new breakthroughs in the form of online learning models during lectures in the current new normal, one of which is by implementing lecture methods that will lead to increasing online learning comfort and critical thinking of a student. So it is hoped that students can be comfortable and follow the lectures well even though online lectures are carried out. Abstract

This study aims at investigating the students’ perceptions on asking questions in online English class focusing on three issues: (1) the factors that encourage the students to ask questions;(2) the factors that burden the students to ask questions; and (3) the lecturers’ feedback in question and answer session. This study employed mixed-method approach by using both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis involving 43 students of English letters in a state Islamic university in Central Java. The results reported that the students’ interest in the subjects, the lecturers’ attitude, and lack of understanding of the learning materials are the key factors that encourage the students to ask questions. Several factors identified as the burden in asking questions are being afraid of making mistakes in speaking English, unsureness understanding of the learning materials, limited interaction, and being afraid of asking silly questions. The students reported that generally the lecturers give satisfying answers to their questions and they argue that they need more examples or quizzes from the lecturers to deepen their understanding of the learning materials.

Abstract

Numeracy is one of the basic skills for students is still a serious problem that has not been resolved in elementary schools. Not a few elementary school students have difficulty understanding basic numeracy material. Teachers are required to always innovate so that numeracy learning is easier for students to understand. This study aims to analyze stu dents' numeracy ability in terms of students' gender differences. Through this research, it is hoped that teachers will have a reference as an evaluation material in determining treatment to improve students' numeracy ability. This research was designed in the form of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection using tests. The tests used are in the form of an ability to recognize place value and a basic arithmetic operation ability test. Data collection was carried out at one of the public elementary schools in the Central Lombok district. The subjects in this study were 78 elementary school students consisting of 30 male students and 48 female students. The results showed that there were differences in numeracy ability between male and female students. The numeracy ability of female students is higher than that of male students. Boys tend to lag behind female students in terms of basic numeracy ability. Female students dominate at high-level numeracy ability while male students only dominate at low-level numeracy abilities.

Abstract

Preliminary studies show that elementary school students who come from migrant worker families tend to have learning difficulties. Based on this phenomenon, researchers feel challenged to dig deeper into the phenomenon. This study aims to find out what forms of learning difficulties are experienced by students and the factors that cause them. The type of research used is a case study. The study was conducted in six public and private elementary schools in North Batukliang sub-district, Central Lombok regency. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews. Informants in this study were principals, teachers, and student caregivers. The results of the study found that on average the children of migrant workers experienced cognitive difficulties and behavioral disturbances. The forms of learning difficulties experienced include difficulty in reading and writing (basic literacy skills), and difficulties in arithmetic operations and number recognition (basic numeracy skills). Several factors are suspected to be the cause of student learning difficulties, including lack of tutoring from parents, low student motivation, constrained behavior disorders, low learning culture of students' social environment, and limited learning facilities owned by students.

Abstract

The current situation in the world of education is increasingly unsatisfactory that requires counselling teachers to seek new strategies. The problem of counselling teacher is increasingly a useful option when online learning is properly studied. The purpose of counselling teachers in Sunday schools is to include the types of rules from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. As an online learning with a qualitative approach. Informants consist of 6 teachers. Research instrument by interview. One of the stages of the counselling role that is interesting from many researchers to produce Miles and Huberman's technique is the role of the counselling teacher. The finding of the importance of counselling teachers can be identified by three benchmarks; counselling teacher factors have an impact on students’ learning, student forms of online learning have an impact on counselling teachers, counselling teacher challenges have an impact on students' online learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes of class X PJOK. This research method uses classroom action research with a total of 22 students. From the learning outcomes at the initial meeting, the class average reached 67, in the first cycle the class average reached 74 and continued with the second cycle with the class average reaching 88. Thus, this digital book can be categorized as "GOOD" for used.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a scientific-based mobile learning application for thematic learning that is suitable for use in elementary school learning. The research method used is Research and Development with the development model using ADDIE which has five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instrument used in the study used an assessment sheet from material experts, media experts, teacher assessments, and student trials. This research was tested on 42 elementary school students. The results showed that from the validation of the material experts a percentage of 90.25% was obtained, then the results of the validation by media experts with a percentage of 91.00%, and the results of the assessment by the teacher obtained a percentage of 87.50% in the appropriate category. The test was carried out on students, the percentage of learning media quality was 91.50% with a very decent category. Based on the results of data acquisition, it shows that the scientific-based mobile learning application in thematic learning is feasible to be used as a learning medium for fourth grade elementary school students.
