Abstract

In order to achieve good management in an organization, a manager with expertise in that field is required; this rule also holds true in the field of education, particularly in schools. The principal, who serves as the manager, is responsible for the management quality of the school. The purpose of this study is to determine how teacher performance is impacted by the principal's managerial skills. This study employed a quantitative methodology. Each of the 50 teachers that participated in the study served as the sample. A questionnaire was utilized as the data collection tool. The study can draw the conclusion that the management competency variable effects the teacher performance variable by 40% based on the results of the determination test research, with the remaining 60% being influenced by other variables that were not examined. It can be interpreted that the level of contribution of these two variables is included in the medium category

Abstract

In this research discusses the storage of electrical energy into the battery itself must be managed in such a way that the process of charging and discharging the battery can take place properly, without causing the load to go out due to running out of battery power. designed a tool to compare the charging time of several batteries with charging using a solar tracker or not using a solar tracker to find out which battery is more efficient in its use. This research uses lead acid batteries, lithium ion batteries, and nickel-cadnium batteries. From the results of this study it is known that lead acid batteries have a charging time of 3 hours 30 minutes without using solar trackers and 3 hours 15 minutes using solar trackers with an efficiency of 7.14%, lithium ion batteries have a charging time of 3 hours 30 minutes without using solar trackers and 3 hours using solar trackers with an efficiency of 14.29%, while Nickel-Cadnium batteries have a charging time of 4 hours 30 minutes without using solar trackers and 4 hours 45 using solar trackers with an efficiency of 11.11%. Then it was found that lithium ion batteries have the fastest charging time of the three batteries used. The system is controlled by an Arduino UNO microcontroller, input in the form of 3 voltage sensors, 6 relays as actuators. relays as actuators, LCD as battery status displayer, and buzzer as warning sound actuator. sensor voltage sensor reads the voltage value on all installed batteries, then Arduino UNO will process the battery with a value above the setpoint. which has a value above the setpoint will be connected to the load through the load relay, while the battery whose voltage is below the setpoint value will be connected to the load. below the setpoint value will be connected to the charging system through the charging relay. In this study given The design of the battery monitoring and management system with the Arduino UNO microcontroller-based switching method has been successfully realized.

Abstract

This paper describes the Flood Light control system provided on the apron, or on a part of the apron, and in isolated parking positions that have been found, which is useful for helping smooth operational activities at the airport, especially at night and security for aircraft in flight. Parking is also designated for loading and unloading activities of goods and passengers. IoT (Internet of Things) can be used in buildings to control electronic equipment such as lights which can be operated remotely via a computer network or smartphone.

Abstract

The depletion of natural resources has occurred worldwide, especially in the field of fisheries. Various solutions to address this depletion involve the conservation or preservation of natural resources. The management carried out by indigenous communities is considered one of the important environmental governance approaches to protect ecosystems and natural resources. Understanding the fundamental principles of how local actors can collaborate successfully in environmental governance can provide valuable insights into how ecosystems and natural resources are managed by them and how the provision of related ecosystem services can be sustained. This research utilizes the design principles proposed by Ostrom to identify the resource management conducted by the Biak Indigenous Community in the Biak Numfor Regency through the Sasisen practices rooted in local knowledge. Sasisen practices are assessed as a contributing factor to natural resource preservation. The aim of this research is to analyze the existence of each principle and how they are applied. The analysis is based on data collected through interviews with various local actors. These principles help explain how indigenous communities can organize collective actions in the management of natural resources. There are Ostrom principles verified by these Sasisen practices, namely the principles of boundaries, rules, collective choice, monitoring, and graduated sanctions. As for the principles of recognition of rights and nested enterprises, conflicts persist between indigenous communities and government agencies, as well as between small-scale and large-scale fisheries sectors. This research also explains the behavior of indigenous communities in preserving their fisheries resources, which can be considered by the government.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the influence of PBL strategy on higher order thinking skills, (2) the influence of on Highe rOrder Thinking Ability, (3) to see the interaction between learning strategies and intellectual intelligence, this type of research is experimental research with design Experimental research design. The sample in this study is the IVc class as the experimental class and IVd class as the control class in Parmiyatu Wassa’adah Tembung. Data collection method is done by test, the initial test is done to classify the level of Self Concept, in this case, is done using the Quetionnaire test, then the results are divided into two levels, namely self concept high and self concept on average, always given action with the PBL model and strategy expository. Post tests are given to measure high-level thinking skills, with Mathematics questions designed by researchers following Olympic and TIMSS questions, which are then expertly Expected. The results of the high-level thinking skills test are then analyzed by prerequisite tests which include, normality test, homogeneity test, and Anava test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained a significant influence on the application of the PBL model to higher-order thinking skills than the expository strategy of fourth grade students of Parmiyatu Wassa’adah Elementary School, there is a significant influence on high self concept on higher-order thinking skills than average self concept average fourth grade students of Parmiyatu Wassa’adah Elementary School, then there is interaction between learning strategies and self concept on high-level thinking skills of class IV students of Parmiyatu Wassa’adah Elementary School.

Abstract

The growth of motor vehicles in Indonesia is increasing every year. The development of EVs from 2011 to 2019 increased significantly. In 2015 the total EV was 102 units and in 2019 it reached 520 units. The acceleration of vehicle conversion from Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) to Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) requires supporting infrastructure, one of which is the availability of SPLU (Public Electric Charging Station) and SPKLU (General Electric Vehicle Charging Station). SPLU has a power of 5.5 kVA to 22 kVA. Companies can make smarter decisions for future business development. eV-Station, for example, has integrated ISO 31000:2018 as a cornerstone in carrying out the company's risk management process and adopted a clearly visible framework. As a result of this process, we identified nine high-risk categories that require special attention to mitigation activities. The risk management team will continuously monitor and evaluate the mitigation process for sustainable outcomes.
