Abstract

Intense competition in the health care market requires hospitals to be able to emphasize their advantages over their competitors. Previous studies have shown that patients demand more choice in the health care they receive. Previous research has shown that patient preferences influence patients' willingness to use health care services at a hospital. This study aims to analyze the factors that contribute to patient preferences in outpatient services. The research design used in this study was analytic descriptive non-experimental research with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted at Royal Prima Marelan Hospital from November 2022 to January 2023. The sample in this study was 381 outpatients. Samples in this study were selected using accidental sampling method. From the Chi Square test results, it is known that education (p=0.714) and income (p=0.430) are not statistically significantly related to patient preferences for outpatient services. Whereas ownership of health insurance (p=0.045), distance (p=0.002), and patient perception (p=0.000) were statistically significantly related. From the results of the logistic regression test, it can be concluded that patient perception is the variable that most influences patient preferences for outpatient services. With an Exp(B) value of 3.739 (95%CI 2.301-6.077), respondents who have unfavorable patient perceptions are 3.7 times likely not to reuse outpatient services.

Abstract

Evaluation of the hospital formulary must be carried out regularly and revised according to hospital policies and needs. The purpose of this research is toevaluatePrescribing adherence based on the formulary in the Outpatient Pharmacy of General Hospital (RSU) Royal Prima Medan. This researchis a mixed methods research. The population and sample used were patient prescription sheets for the period July 2022 - September 2022. The data obtained was analyzed using a retrospective descriptive method. The use of a drug is said to be in accordance with the formulary if it meets the percentage based on the 2008 minimum hospital service standard, namely 100%. The conclusion in this study is that adherence to drug prescriptions based on a formulary does not meet the minimum hospital service standard (100%) and needs to be evaluated to fulfill prescriptions based on a hospital formulary.

Abstract

This study dealt with the increase in students’ listening skills by using Total Physical Response (TPR). This study was conducted on students of Politeknik LP3I Medan. This study aimed to increase the student’s listening skills by using Total Physical Response (TPR). This study conducted qualitative research that described the result of the study. There were 20 students as participants in this study. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) to know whether this method was effectively implemented in the listening class and can increase students’ listening skills. To know whether the students’ listening skills increased or not, the researcher used the pre-test and the post-test. A pre-test was conducted to know students’ score results before applying Total Physical Response (TPR). Post-test was conducted to compare the pre-test and the post-test to know the difference between the pre-test and post-test. The result of this study, there was increased students’ listening skills by using Total Physical Response (TPR). The class average scores in the pre-test were 292,5, and when the lecturer implemented Total Physical Response (TPR), the student scores increased to 366,6. It meant Total Physical Response (TPR) positively influenced the students.

Abstract

The lack of variety in the digital teaching resources that teachers utilize to facilitate learning in the digital era is what inspired this research. It is essential to create instructional resources that are relevant to students' daily lives. In addition, instructional materials that help improve students' mathematical skills are required. This study aims to provide digital teaching resources based on RME learning that can help students improve their mathematics communication abilities. The ASSURE model (Analyze Learners; State Objectives; Choose approach, Media, and Materials; Utilize Materials; Require Learners' Responses; Evaluate and Revise) was utilized in this study along with the R&D approach. This teaching material was tested on class junior high school students at a private school with a total of 30 students. The research results show that teaching materials meet the high suitability criteria in terms of content suitability, language, presentation, design, RME approach, mathematical communication, and evaluation. The teaching materials received a positive response from students, which met the appropriate criteria. After employing instructional materials, students scored an average of 76 on their ability to communicate mathematically. As a result, these teaching tools are deemed appropriate for use by teachers as extra learning resources.

Abstract

Student worksheets are printed worksheets that are frequently used in classrooms. The effectiveness of LKPD in online learning is lower. Similar improvements have been made in science and technology, as well as in the context of the process of learning to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic. This necessitates creating LKPD that is more creative and can be presented in an electronic student worksheet (E-LKPD) format for use online. Electronic Student Worksheets are online learning resources that are methodically organized into specific instructional units and delivered in electronic format. By examining the appropriateness of the media, teacher reactions, and the efficacy of employing teaching materials, this research intends to offer electronic student worksheet products based on socio-scientific issues in learning materials to increase students' critical thinking. The ADDIE technique, which stands for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, is the development approach used. The findings of the study on the creation of the e-LKPD demonstrate the viability of e-LKPD media based on socio-scientific issues in instructional materials to enhance students' critical thinking, with 93 percent falling into the highly viability group. So that the e-LKPD that has been developed is declared suitable for use as a support for the learning process.

Abstract

Mobile banking is a digital service product provided by banks to facilitate daily transactions. In Indonesia, there is sharia-based mobile banking. However, there are still many customers who have not utilized digital mobile banking services. This is partly influenced by digital marketing promotions that have not been optimal. Not only that, the increasing risk of cybercrime makes customers have a negative perception of the use of mobile banking and prefer to use an automatic teller machine. The study seeks to determine whether risk perception and digital marketing have an impact on consumers' decisions to utilize mobile banking. This study employed a quantitative methodology and gathered data from a sample of 100 participants. The normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and hypothesis test (t test, f test, and R2 test) are the data analysis procedures employed. The study's findings demonstrate a favorable relationship between perceived risk and digital marketing's ability to influence consumer choices. The results of the test for coefficient of determination yielded an R2 value of 0.75, or 75%. Customers' decisions to utilize mobile banking are influenced by digital marketing outcomes and risk perception, while the remaining percentage is explained by factors other than the independent variables employed in the study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to quantify and examine how school supervisors' managerial oversight and managerial expertise affect school principals' performance. This study employs descriptive-inferential methodology and quantitative research techniques. Observation, interviews, and documentation studies were used to obtain data. Statistical tests are then used to process and interpret the data. The entire research sample consisted of school administrators. The whole population census approach was employed in the sampling technique. According to the analysis of research findings, supervisory managerial oversight had a strong, immediate impact on the school's managerial competency. The effectiveness of school A principals is not significantly impacted by management oversight of supervisors. The performance of school A principals is significantly impacted directly by the managerial ability of school principals. Through the managerial proficiency of school principals, supervisory management supervision has a strong indirect impact on the performance of school A principals. The management oversight of school supervisors does not differ significantly from other managerial oversight. The managerial capabilities of school principals vary significantly. The principals of school A are more managerially skilled than the principals of school B. There is a large disparity between school principal performance; principals at school A perform better than principals at school B.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid human growth requires food, but the expansion of land for farming is decreasing and farmers can no longer afford the necessary farming equipment such as fertilizers and pesticides to control plant pests, so efficient plant processing techniques are very necessary, in this case plants paddy. This paper discussed about increase crop yields, controlling pests in rice plants is also very important. Pests are enemies of rice farmers, especially leafhoppers which attack young rice plants and stinging grasshoppers which attack rice plants when the rice has started to grow young grains. Until now, farmers still rely on the use of chemical pesticides which are relatively expensive, and The economic needs of farmers are increasing, so farmers are also looking for fast and cheap without paying attention to the health impacts on humans who consume the rice.
