Abstract

This study aims to produce soccer passing and control skills training models based on small side games for ages 12-14 years and to test the effectiveness of the models produced. The research method used in this study is the research and development method of Borg and Gall by using 10 stages and with the research subjects are football athletes aged 12-14 years in the East Jakarta football school. This research begins with needs analysis, planning, making trial products, revisions and final products. Test the effectiveness of the model using the loughborough soccer test (LSPT) which is used to determine the level of passing and control abilities of the athlete before and after the treatment model developed. The results of the study show that the product model of this exercise is feasible to use, in the results of small group trials and large groups can explain that the model as a whole can be done well. In the results of the effectiveness test, test the significance of differences with SPSS 16 Independent Samples Test obtained results in the experimental group with an average of 47.61 and the control group with an average of 49.80, these results derived from the test scores in the form of the final time velocity, so the time is smaller the better it gets. Fill in the results of the experimental group and the control group or mean difference = 2.188, t-count = 3.845, df = 58, with ¬-value = 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there are significant differences between the experimental group and the control group. These results indicate that the treatment given to the experimental group, namely the passing and control soccer skills training model based on small side games for 12-14 year olds has higher effectiveness and can improve passing and control skills for athletes aged 12-14 years.

Also, the in-flow and out-flow of information were not restricted by the leaders and their directives were not strictly complied with. The leaders respected and protected the self esteems of the subjects. The leaders recognized the subjects’ worth and esteems, based their actions on trust, integrity, honesty, equality, openness and mutual respects. All these were features of democratic or participative leadership style. Abstract

AbstractThis study is an attempt to probe into the translation of metaphors in medical articles, to see whether the translators managed to render the same connotation of metaphors into English. This study covers some points for translating Persian metaphors into English through Newmark strategies (1988). As regards the most frequent strategy among the seven strategies proposed by Peter Newmark for translating metaphors, it was clarified that metaphors are rarely used in Iranian medical journals and cultural factors don't play an important role in translating. As a result, the researchers have come to the conclusion that titles as a text type may help improve medical academic literacy. This study is part of a growing body of research in the field. In using a largely untapped source of medical translation, this project will contribute to future research on similar topics. Also, the result of this study can be useful for medical and para-medical professionals, students, nurses and doctors in completing and updating their medical education and knowledge because they are the choicest readers of medical articles.

Power also threatens in voicing the protection of the natural environment. The description of women's struggle is contained in the text of the Women's Batak Opera on the edge of the Lake by Lena Simanjuntak. This opera text restores the identity of women who are closer and care about the environment that is starting to break down, also to values that are starting to disappear. Inductive methods used range from general to general or general problems. The problem analysis starts from the presentation of evidence in the text which is then dialogue with the concept of ecofeminism. The results show that it is not easy for women to express a voice of concern for nature, even though it has been discourse in the context of their cultural history. Furthermore, due to cultural changes that prioritize the interests of individuals and humans from ecology. This is a strong reason for some women to resist changes in voicing and releasing the natural damage caused by human activities.
