Abstract

This research examineswhat is the history of the process and dynamics of the local government's policy regarding permits for the implementation of Islamic law in Aceh. This research is qualitative descriptive research with content analysis approach. The steps taken in the research include data collection and data analysis. First, the data is taken from the source such as the book entitled Islamic Shari'a in Aceh (Problematics of Sharia Implementation). The results showed that: The Birth of the Legalization of Islamic Sharia in Aceh occurred in 1999 after going through a long struggle against various policies and conflicts (movements needed by Acehnese community leaders). Among them is the policy of the Central Government as a result of the Round Table Conference (KMB) which has implications for the dissolution of the Aceh Province which has an effect on the existence of the Syar'iyah Court, which was previously an apparatus of the Aceh Province. This was further exacerbated by the issuance of Law No. 1 of 1950 which contained the dissolution of all autonomous courts and merged them into state courts. The dynamics of permits for the implementation of Islamic Shari'ah in Aceh are vulnerable to those responsible for implementing Islamic Shari'ah (Pemda and related institutions) in making policies on the implementation of Islamic Shari'ah. This was caused by two things, namely: First, there were certain parties who were worried and accused that the implementation of Islamic Shari'ah in Aceh would reduce and not be in line with the protection of human rights and women. The two permits have given rise to formidable challenges, because it can be said that this is a new era in the study and development of fiqh, especially in Aceh.

The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnographic model that is carried out by collecting data carrying out ethnographic activities, namely the main focus of ethnography is to collect data by observation and interviews; work with key informants. The theoretical framework used is a semiotic approach, namely the science that examines signs in human life, the meaning obtained from a sign at the mimetic level cannot be used to express its meaning. This theory is indeed suitable for research that discusses the disclosure of the meaning of the results of material culture in the form of signs on Pakpak traditional houses.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the quality of Islamic Corporate Governance in sharia banking in Indonesia and analyze the effect of the quality of Islamic Corporate Governance implementation and bank complexity on the frequency of fraud in sharia banking in Indonesia from 2011 through 2020. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all Indonesian sharia commercial banks based on banking statistics issued by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in December 2020, which were 14 sharia commercial banking, then selected by the purposive sampling method using sharia commercial banking criteria that reported a complete self-assessment report during 2011 – 2020, which is as many as 10 sharia commercial banking. The type of data used is secondary data whose data collection is carried out by online data search methods through website searches. The data analysis method used panel data regression. The results of the study showed that the quality of Islamic Corporate Governance implementation at sharia commercial banking during 2011 - 2020 on average had a "good" predicate, minimum value (best implementation quality "very good", and maximum value (lowest implementation quality " good enough". The implementation of Islamic Corporate Governance in sharia commercial banking BUKU III is better than sharia commercial banking BUKU II and BUKU I. The results also show that the quality of Islamic Corporate Governance implementation has a significant effect on fraud with an estimated coefficient of 1.3251, meaning that if the composite ICG value increases (the quality of ICG implementation decreases) by 1 unit, then fraud will increase by 1.3251 units. Then, the complexity has no effect on the frequency of fraud with a probability value of 0.1651 > 0.05 (α=5%), meaning that the complexity of banks is reflected in the category of BUKU 1 banks has the same level of fraud as BUKU II and III banks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyzeorganizational culture, communication, discipline and work motivation on employee performance at the National Land Agency of Labuhanbatu Regency. This type of research is quantitative, the place of this research is the National Land Agency of Labuhanbatu Regency and a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The multiple linear regression equation of this study is: Y= (-6.790) +0.263X1+0.314X2 +0.657X3+0.312X4. The results of the regression analysis obtained the t-count value of 2.423 > t-table 1.66277 explaining that the Communication variable (X2) has a positive effect on the Employee Performance variable (Y). Then the significant value is 0.017 <0.05, which means that the Communication variable (X2) has a significant effect on the Employee Performance variable (Y). Then the results of the regression analysis obtained the t arithmetic value of 4.496 > t table 1.66277 indicating that the Discipline variable (X3) has a positive effect on the Employee Performance variable (Y). From these results it can be stated that Organizational Culture (X1), Communication (X2), Discipline (X3), and Work Motivation (X4) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). The value of R Square from the analysis of the coefficient of determination of 0.588 means that Employee Performance can be explained by the variables of Organizational Culture, Communication, Discipline and Work Motivation of 58.8%, while the remaining 41.2% can be explained by other variables not examined in this study.
