Abstract

This study aims to analyze Training, Work Experience and Motivation on the Performance of Employees of the Regional Revenue Agency Office of Labuhanbatu Regency. This type of research is quantitative, and the place of this research is the Regional Revenue Agency Office of Labuhan Batu Regency. Data collection techniques used in the study were observation, documentation and questionnaires using a Likert scale. The population in this study were employees of the Regional Revenue Agency of Labuhan Batu Regency as many as 90 people. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Saturated sampling technique is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples, thus all employees are used as respondents in this study. The analytical method used in this research is validity and reliability test, classical assumption test which includes: data normality test, heteroscedasticity test, and multicollinearity test. Multiple linear regression analysis was tested using partial (t), simultaneous (F) testing, and the coefficient of determination. The test results partially prove that the value of t count is 3.809 > t table 1.6629 which indicates thattraining (X1) has a positive effect on employee performance variables (Y). The t-count value is 2.629 > t table 1.6629 explaining that experience (X2) has a positive effect on employee performance variable (Y). Furthermore, the value of t count is 4.087 > t table 1.6629 which means that motivation (X3) has a positive effect on employee performance variable (Y). Simultaneous test results obtained Fcount value of 61.537> Ftable 2.48 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The results of this F test explain that training (X1), work experience (X2), and motivation (X3) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). The value of R Square from the analysis of the coefficient of determination is 0.682, which means that employee performance (Y) can be explained by the training variable (X1), work experience (X2).

Abstract

Airplanes are popular transportation for the community in general because they have various advantages over other existing transportation. Airplanes have a relatively short time to travel between islands. Safety and comfort are major factors in the operation of an aircraft. One of the safety factors in an aircraft is the air supply, one of the supporting components of the air supply is a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger keeps the temperature of the air entering the Air Cycle Machine at its operating temperature. The Heat Exchanger in this journal is a type for the Boeing 737-500 aircraft which has a significant decrease in performance which results in damage to ACM components. A plate and frame heat exchanger with aluminum alloy material will be compared with a copper heat exchanger using the Ansys program to determine the effectiveness of both. The analysis will be carried out using the calculation method as well as running tests on the Heat Exchanger, and using Ansys for testing material modification.

Abstract

The Center for Plasma Research (CPR), Diponegoro University, as the institution that drafted SNI 8759:2019, continues to oversee it implementation. In this paper, we report the successful implementation of SNI 8759:2019 at the chili center in Batu Bara. This success is strongly supported by the producer cooperative "Berkah Abadi Jaya". At the end of May 2021 there will be a chili harvest throughout Indonesia. Chili prices in the Batu Bara chili farming area fell sharply. Chili is bought by a wholesaler for Rp. 7,000.00 per kilogram. The cooperative buys from the farmers as much as Rp. 10,000.00/kg and Rp. 10,500.00/kg and save as much as 835 kg. The collaboration between the research team and the “Berkah Abadi Jaya” Cooperative has synergistically succeeded in applying ozone plasma technology for large-scale chili storage during the main harvest. These saved chilies are resold to the market when prices have improved. The application of plasma ozone technology in chili centers through washing fresh chili grade 1 using ozonized water and storing it in a refrigerator at a temperature of 80 C can extend the shelf life of chilies to 2 months. This application has provided a double benefit for farmers when their crops are purchased by cooperatives. In addition, farmers who are members of the cooperative also benefit by reselling chilies that have been stored at a higher price, which is between Rp. 16,000.00 - Rp. 23,000.00. The quality of chili stored with this technology has been previously investigated by the CPR and examined for confirmation for storage in the chili center of Batu Bara Regency.
