Abstract

A sizable improvement was made in 2013 with the funding source coming from Garuda Indonesia's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). At that time the repairs carried out included strengthening the second floor by coating multiplex with a thickness of 12 mm, painting, repairing windows and doors on the second floor. Massive changes were made on the first floor, namely the demolition of all the walls of the rooms, dismantling the wooden floors and replacing them with ceramic floors. The rehabilitation training at this PKM was observing Rasuna said's house which significantly explained that the main building or the middle building on the first floor had two windows, while the second floor had three windows. The function of this window is to enter sunlight as room lighting from sunlight during the day, besides that the window also functions as a regulation of air circulation from the right side. The floor plan of Rasuna Said's house is rectangular, extending towards the back with a length of 26 m, a width of 9.9 m. The floor plan of the building is above the ground with a slope towards the back of approximately 2 m, from the road to the boundary of the rear building (kitchen building). The building plan consists of several rooms, namely; reception room/porch, living/main room, back room, as well as the front yard and fence. The reception room is the front room, on the left side of the foyer there is one room. Furthermore, the main room is positioned in the middle, from this room you can continue to the second floor and to the back room/kitchen.

Abstract

Nowadays, human beings’ relationships take many forms. People are either parents, friends, colleagues, partners, lovers etc. As far as lovers are concerned, we sometimes observe excesses in their interactions. However, not everybody experiences love in the same way. Love, for some is joy, happiness while other people regard it as source of problems and sufferance. In Corneille’s Le Cid, Rodrigue and Chimène are paralyzed by love and suffering, while Romeo and Juliette get to the capital sacrifice for their intensive and polemical love affair in Shakespeare’s Romeo in Juliette.  This study aims at exploring the concept of obsessive love and its consequences through the characters of Graham Green’s The End of the Affair. To succeed in this study apart from books on the selected topic, I have used psychoanalysis as literary theory to access the issue. I examined the difference between obsessive love and true love. Of the results I came up with I can briefly say but a few that obsession can be destructive namely for the obsessed. It can also negatively affect the other members of the family tissue. Obsessive love unfortunately often replaces true love. Ways and means are suggested to cope with any sorts of love.

Abstract

The relationship between Mahathir Mohamad and Anwar Ibrahim was colorful, from friendship, fellowship to violent conflict and hostilities, even Anwar was slandered with sodomy and jailed and tortured in his cell. Anwar's struggle in Malaysian politics was full of sorrow and bitterness, after being released from prison in 2007, in 2008 he was jailed again on charges of sodomy too. But then he could be free and form an opposition against Najib Razak who replaced Mahathir. In 1997, when he became a finance minister, Anwar Ibrahim supported the steps of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He saved money by cutting state spending by 18 percent, cutting ministerial salaries, and postponing major projects. The major projects postponed by Anwar Ibrahim included a number of projects that were the mainstay of the development strategy designed by Mahathir Mohamad. In 1998, amid the worsening relationship between Anwar and Mahathir, Newsweek magazine named Anwar the "Asian Leader of the Year". In the same year, the youth wing of UMNO led by Anwar's ally Ahmad Zahid Hamidi indicated that they would raise the issue of cronyism and nepotism in the UMNO General Session. Now Anwar has returned to the Malaysian political scene and is waiting for the promise of Mahathir who will hand over the reign of the Prime Minister to him. Indeed, Anwar's way of life was full of mystery and grief but there was no grudge in him for those who had imprisoned him for quite a long time.
