Abstract

This study aims to overcome students' low interest in learning mathematics by using interactive multimedia learning models to increase students' interest in learning mathematics in class VII MTS PP ATH-TOHIRIYAH Gunung Selamat in the midst of the Corona Virus outbreak. With the application of this interactive multimedia learning model, it is hoped that it will increase students' interest in learning mathematics. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a class action method. In this study, the authors analyzed the data from the pre-test and post-test scores from both classes. The population in this study were all students of MTS PP ATH-TOHIRIYAH Gunung Selamat grade VII, totaling 40 students. The sampling technique used is probability sampling using cluster sampling. From the results of data analysis, it is known that there is a difference between the average value of student learning outcomes before and after the implementation where the average value of the experimental pre-test is 56.60% and the control pre-test is 66.70% and becomes 86.55% for the experimental post-test and 75.30% for the control post-test. The experimental class increased by 29.95%, while the control class only increased by 8.60%. Based on the results of research and data processing that have been discussed, it can be concluded that the application of the interactive multimedia-based mathematics learning process has an impact on student learning interest in terms of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Dividend policy is one of the most important functions for corporate finance and has influence with various company stakeholders. Dividend policy reflects the quality and reputation of the company, namely the company's ability to manage its business processes to generate profits well or vice versa. In practice, companies experience difficulties in determining and deciding dividend policies, namely the decision to withhold profits to be used as company operational development or to distribute dividends to shareholders to increase investor confidence in the company. The difference in interests that occurs in dividend policy is called agency theory. This study aims to determine the effect of collateralizable assets (COLLAS), growth in net assets, liquidity (CR), leverage (DER), and profitabilitas (ROE) on dividend policy (DPR) in non-financial service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. The data used in this study was obtained from financial report data taken from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study are non-financial service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. The sampling technique used is perposive sampling and obtained 31 firms with a research period of 4 years, thus obtaining 124 sample data. The method of data analysis in this study is panel data regression analysis using software Eviews 11.0. The results showed that simultaneous collateralizable assets (COLLAS), growth in net assets, liquidity (CR), leverage (DER), and profitabilitas (ROE) had a significant effect on dividend policy (DPR). Meanwhile, partially Collateralizable Assets (COLLAS) has a significant effect in a positive direction on dividend policy. Growth In Net Assets has no significant effect in a negative direction on dividend policy. Liquidity (CR) does not have a significant negative effect on dividend policy. Leverage (DER) does not have a significant negative effect on dividend policy. Profitability (ROE) has a significant effect in a positive direction on dividend policy.

Abstract

In typological linguistics, the terms “kala,” “aspect,” “mode/modality” are used and are known as verb paradigms or verbal systems (morphosyntactically) and verb semantic aspects (semantically) in describing language characteristics. However, these terms are treated as parallel, even though all three leave theoretical problems. Kala and aspect are grammatical categories, while modality is semantic notation. In addition, there is also the term mode which is often assumed to be a synonym for modality even though the two are related different concepts. Therefore, this study attempts to answer these theoretical problems by referring to temporality, aspectuality, and modality and describing their realization in English and Indonesian to gain a comprehensive understanding. This research is a contrastive analysis that compares English and Indonesian. Data were collected from two synchronic corpora, namely the Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) for English data and Wortschatz Leipzig Corpora Collection for Indonesian data. The analysis results show that English and Indonesian have different realizations of these notes; English is more varied in realizing temporality, while Indonesian is more varied in learning aspectual. The manifestations of English modalities are more diverse, which include core and quasi-modal. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that English is more affluent in morphosyntax and syntax, while Indonesian is richer in morphology.

Abstract

In measuring efficiency in a company which is also often used in the banking industry, namely the DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) method which compares input and output variables and is one of the optimization methods of mathematical programs. This study will examine the efficiency level of Islamic banking in Indonesia during the 2016-2020 period and see the role of capital and liquidity or their influence on the efficiency level of Islamic banking. The method used is a quantitative method using a non-parametric approach (DEA) and a parametric approach using the Tobit Regression method to see the effect of capital and liquidity. The results show that Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in Indonesia have not operated efficiently based on the average efficiency score obtained by the DEA method during the period 2016 to 2020, which is 0,911. Furthermore, the results of the study show that capital and liquidity can build the efficiency level of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia.
