Abstract

Instagram is a social media that displays visual content. Instagram can be used to attract public attention by displaying various types of information. Semarang Zoo uses Instagram in maximizing marketing communication strategies. The purpose of this study is to explain the marketing communication message strategy of Semarang Zoo which is carried out through Instagram @SemarangZoo. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out by means of observation, documentation and literature study, where the researcher took screenshots of several uploads on the @SemarangZoo XXgy of compiling messages and focuses on social media. The results of the study explain how the Semarang Zoo displays the content of communication information and creative forms of messages through Instagram @SemarangZoo with a period of April to September 2021.

Abstract

Scholars and practitioners point out that the current low level of employee engagement in the workplace is one of the most worrisome global economic problems. The potential consequence of this phenomenon is a decline in job performance. Therefore, it becomes essential to understand the concept of work engagement, its meaning for employees, and its implications for employers. This study examines the development of research on the topic of employee engagement. The study aims to determine: (1) the development of the number of international publications in the field of employee engagement in the Google Scholar database from 2016-2022; (2) core journals in international publications on the topic of employee engagement, (3) a map of the development of international publications in research fields with the topic of employee engagement, based on co-words. Collecting data by conducting searches through Publish or Perish (Pop) with the keyword’s employee, engagement, employee, with the category of the article title, abstract, and keywords in the period 2016-2022. Data in the form of the number of publications per year, publishers, and journals containing articles on employee engagement and subjects were analyzed using Microsoft Excel. Meanwhile, the trend of topic mapping was analyzed using VosViewer software. The study results show that the 2016-2022 growth development of Google Scholar indexed articles in 2020 reached 193 publications (19.3%). Most international publications are published in the International Journal of Management Review as many as 17 articles. The results showed that the research on employee engagement was still dominated by transformational leadership and organizational culture. For further research, the authors suggest the need for additional data sources so that more research results are more accurate and comprehensive.

Abstract

Industrial competition is currently getting higher and more competitive, especially with the presence of foreign products that characterize the domestic market. On the other hand, the presence of Industry 4.0 which has been echoed since 2011, has made global industry players more competitive to be able to advance their respective technologies based on computer technology and internet networks. Of course, domestic industry players will also not remain silent in the face of this increasingly sharp competitive climate. Supported by the government, in this case the Ministry of Industry, the competitive power of the domestic industry is constantly being honed with various programs being rolled out. One of them is the innovation of superior products as the output of research and development programs that must synergize between the government, the private sector, the community and universities. This study examines whether the research and development activities carried out by the company affect its growth. In the next stage, moderating with age, size and market share is expected to further sharpen this influence.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a common problem in the world of education that harms students' educational activities. Muraqabah is considered to positively influence self-regulation, where emotion regulation is one of self-regulation' forms. Previous research has revealed that one of the efforts to overcome academic procrastination is to enhance the ability to regulate emotions. Excellent emotion regulation can change aversion emotions to reduce procrastination. This study investigates the relationship between academic procrastination, muraqabah, and emotion regulation. In addition, it also examines the role of emotion regulation as a mediator in the relationship between muraqabah and academic procrastination in Junior High School Students. Quantitative data were collected by distributing adaptation of the academic procrastination scale (APS), muraqabah questionnaire, and emotion regulation questionnaire (ERQ-CA). Participants in quantitative research were 201 students. This study showed a significant correlation in each pair of variables, and emotion regulation was found to significantly mediate the relationship between muraqabah and academic procrastination in junior high school students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the configuration of government political communication in managing the Banda Aceh Madani city government and to analyze the mayor's political communication commitment in building a civil society Banda Aceh city. This research was designed as a descriptive qualitative research. The key informants in this study were the mayor of Banda Aceh, the Banda Aceh city government work unit and the Banda Aceh community. Data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation study. The theory used in this research is organizational structure theory and Islamic communication. Research findings, the political communication configuration of the Banda Aceh city government in managing the government is carried out with various political actors ranging from Acehnese Ulama leaders, Banda Aceh regional stakeholders, Banda Aceh city government work units and the Banda Aceh city community both at each sub-district and lower-level village. The Banda Aceh city government gets political support to carry out executive and legislative functions in making Banda Aceh a civil city. The supporting factors for the political communication of the Banda Aceh city government are legal legality, economy, community culture, and security. The political communication commitment of the Banda Aceh city government in managing the government and building the Banda Aceh city community as a civil city community has begun to form. The political commitment of the Banda Aceh city government includes building Islamic law as a whole, building good governance, building a populist economy, fostering an intellectual, healthy and prosperous society, who master a variety of science, technology, arts and culture, build Islamic tourism infrastructure, increasing women's participation in the public sphere, and child protection, building the role of the younger generation as a development force. Recommendations and advice necessary communication configuration and the commitment of political communication Banda Aceh city government sustained and sustainable dignity for all the people of Banda Aceh in Banda Aceh city government organize civil.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze merger and its implications for employee motivation and productivity at Bank Syariah Indonesia. The type of research used is explanatory research. The research is conducted at Bank Syariah Indonesia in Palu City Area, the respondents in this study are employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia in Palu City. The sampling technique used by the author is non-probability sampling. The type of non-probability sampling used in this study is saturated sampling or often called census. So, the sample in this study is the entire population taken, namely all employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia Palu Area, totaling 126 employees. Data analysis in this study uses structural equation modeling through path analysis. The results show that merger has a significant effect on employee motivation at Bank Syariah Indonesia. Merger has a significant effect on productivity at Bank Syariah Indonesia. Motivation has a significant effect on productivity at Bank Syariah Indonesia.

Abstract

In general, this study aims to determine the form of planning, analyze the form of marketing communica-tion strategies and, examine the success of marketing communication strategies for the Bandung Plant Festival Event at Cihampelas Walk Bandung. This type of research is descriptive where this research has a main objective to describe the nature or temporary situation by walking at the time of the research be-ing conducted and examining the causes of a particular symptom. With this type of descriptive research, it will explain and describe the problems regarding how the marketing communication strategy of Cihampelas Walk Bandung in attracting visitors during the covid 19 pandemic. The data collection tech-niques used in this study were observation and interviews. Respondents in this study were one of the ten-ants at Cihampelas Walk, one of the sellers at the Bandung Plant Festival Event, and visitors to the Ban-dung Plant Festival. The results of this study are Ciwalk in attracting visitors during the Covid-19 pan-demic through the Bandung Plant Festival Event using planning by having a target audience, positioning and choosing an agency or work partner. The marketing communication strategy carried out by Ciwalk in attracting visitors during the Covid-19 pandemic through the Bandung Plant Festival Event by imple-menting market segmentation, event objectives, designing marketing communication messages, commu-nication channels, and marketing communication mix which contents such as event marketing, sales promotion, in-rect marketing, and digital marketing.

Abstract

With the advent of the 4.0 era, the lifestyle and needs of internet users are increasing, and daily activities are all carried out using the internet network. Internet stands for Interconnected Network and is defined as a very wide or worldwide computer network. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and psychological well-being on social media influencers. The method used by researchers here is a quantitative method using a scale. Based on the results of research on the factors that influence influencers on social media, it shows that they have a low self-concept because it is difficult to accept the present. This situation causes more and more new influencers who have the desire to always look different on social media. Acting to provide content that people know about.

Abstract

Administrative reform policies by governments are carried out to fix their bureaucracy. The aims is to create dynamic, agile, and professional bureaucracy through effectiveness and efficiency of organizational performance. Administrative reform is carried out by simplifying government organizations and improving bureaucratic procedures. However, downsizing bureaucracy has certain consequences/impacts. This article explains the concept of organizational downsizing as administrative reform, the impacts as a consequence of implementing the downsizing, and how anticipatory actions need to be prepared. The approach is carried out in a descriptive way, identifying problems, and solutions from the impacts of organizational downsizing. Identification is done by studying cases that have been carried out in various downsizing cases in the world. The impacts of implementing organizational downsizing based on research studies will generally occur in three domains, organizational matter, organizational human resources, and the external environment. Structural change may generate an internal conflict and the work issues. This problem if not well managed could affects organizational behavior, and organizational goals. Identification of significant impacts must be done before the implementation of downsizing. The role of leadership and management is important to prepare actions and instruments to anticipate negative impacts that may arise.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to discuss about the benefits of implementing the android-based identist application as an alternative outside the government's public health service program. This type of research design is qualitative using case studies.  This study involved 2 types of data sources, namely primary sources and secondary sources. In collecting data, the number of samples used is in the range of 4-10 informants to see if the data is regulated, if the sample is less than 10, it has reached the saturation point, then stop the search for samples. Data analysis techniques were carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The research results show that implementation of the android-based iDentist application can provide information on dental and oral health so that it can provide accurate dental and oral care. Implementation of the android-based iDentist application can overcome public complaints so that it can speed up dental and oral care.
