Abstract

This paper was conducted to find solutions to problems regarding incentives and compensation for the performance of the company's marketing department, because in general the human resources in the company, especially the marketing department, must-have skills because in finding consumers, skills are needed so that consumers are interested in the goods offered. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is no significant effect between compensation on morale, this can be seen from the results of the path coefficient value of 0.200 and the p-value of 0.276 > 0.50. Therefore, it can be stated that this hypothesis testing is rejected. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is a significant influence between incentives on work morale, this can be seen from the results of the path coefficient value of 0.261 and the p-value of 0.013 < 0.50. Therefore, it can be stated that this hypothesis testing is accepted. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is a significant influence between incentives on performance, this can be seen from the results of the path coefficient value of 0.244 and the p-value of 0.000 < 0.50. Therefore, it can be stated that this hypothesis testing is accepted. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is a significant influence between compensation on performance, this can be seen from the results of the path coefficient value of 0.197 and the p-value of 0.045 < 0.50. Therefore, it can be stated that this hypothesis testing is accepted. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is a significant influence between work morale on performance, this can be seen from the results of the path coefficient value of 0.129 and the p-value of 0.020 < 0.50. Therefore, it can be stated that this hypothesis testing is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to know independent learning of English for Compute in using Google Classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used of this research was elaborating from quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The population was Informatics students in the first semester at Universitas Harapan Medan. Sampling techniques used random sampling with a research sample of 65 students of 1-1 and 1-2 classes. Data collection techniques used triangulation: questionnaires, interviews and observations. The results showed that the average level of student learning independence using google classroom in learning English for Computer during  COVID-19 pandemic was very high at the average value of indicators: self-confidence (82.62), sel-discipline (85.51), initiative (82.34), responsibility (84.92), motivation (86.27), then the average indicator of independent learning is 84.33. From these results knows that the scale range of the criteria for the score of the respondent's level of achievement, then the interpretation of learning independence in learning English for computer for Informatics students using Google Classroom during the Covid 19 pandemic is very high.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the positive and significant contribution of learning independence to the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education, (2) the positive and significant contribution of learning motivation to the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education, and (3) the positive and significant contribution of learning independence and motivation. Study together on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education? The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Rampah. This research is a quantitative research with correlation research method. The population in this study were all students of class XI which consisted of 8 classes totaling 240 students. The research sample amounted to 72 students who were taken by random sampling technique. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and tests. Analysis of the data used is correlation and regression. The research findings show: (1) there is a positive and significant contribution between learning independence and learning outcomes with a correlation number of 0.354 with the regression line equation Ŷ = 71.60 + 0.23X1, (2) there is a positive and significant contribution between learning motivation and learning outcomes. With a correlation number of 0.473 with the regression line equation Ŷ = 68.96 + 0.28X2. and (3) there is a positive and significant contribution between learning independence and learning motivation with learning outcomes with a correlation number of 0.549 with the regression line equation Ŷ = 138.80 + 0.18X1 + 0.25X2. The effective contribution of the learning independence variable to learning outcomes is 9.90%, while the effective contribution of the learning motivation variable to learning outcomes is 20.00%.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe about the effectiveness of English teacher education practice in Medan. This study applied the descriptive qualitative design. The subjects of this study were 10 mentors and 30 participants of English teacher education practice. Furthermore, the questionnaire was administered in order to collect the data. The data analysis used the data condensation, data display and verification. The English teacher education practice in Medan was quite effective since most of respondents gave the “good” statement for socializing and coordinating of the program, coordinating the program preparation, and coordination of monitoring and evaluation of English teacher education practice. Meanwhile, most of them gave the “fair” statement for the obstacles during the program implementation preparation and the effort to overcome the problems by the related institution in the English teacher education practice. The result of the study proved that the English teacher education practice in Medan fulfilled the classification or indicators of the effectiveness in implementing the education practice for English teacher.

Abstract

One door integrated service policy is a new idea in service to the community. Integrated steps in this service are system changes in the implementation of activities to facilitate the Meureudu district court in serving the community, this policy requires processes and innovations for service providers, one door integrated service guidance and direction full of today's technological challenges., the role in the system that is carried out cannot be separated from the challenges of circumstances that can cause deviations in an activity. The authors use a descriptive qualitative approach which is basically an attempt to reveal a problem or situation or event as it should be so as to provide an objective picture of the actual state of the object under study. Research results and discussion, In improving services to the needs of the community, the Meureudu district court has facilitated and guided its employees in providing services, a simple, fast and precise service process requires the ability and creativity of employees and for the implementation of these activities this greatly affects the leadership role that manages the wheels of activity in the court. The success of the Meureudu District Court by obtaining a B rating means that demands for excellent service to the community are the first priority. The obstacle faced by the Meureudu District Court is that they do not have their own building and they are still using the Pidie Jaya Regency government building which has been granted the right to use this greeting. fast and precise requires the ability and creativity of employees and for the implementation of this activity is very influential in the leadership role that manages the wheels of activity in the court.

Abstract

Dictionary cannot be separated with syllabification because it is one of the crucial parts of the reference book. It has been widely known that each language has its own linguistic system which creates differences between one language to another; and one of those differences is the system of syllabification. Syllabification, in Indonesian language system owns different rules compared to other languages. The practice of syllabification for Indonesian words considers the structure of the vowels and the consonants, as well as the syllabic itself, and the other rules of syllabification.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to find out Leadership Recruitment at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of North Sumatra Province. This study use qualitative research method. Based on the results that determine the success of the recruitment of the head of the population and civil service, it begins with the stages that have been determined by the selection committee and assessed by the committee of the performance appraisal team, each of which has had the requirements determined by the regulations of the domestic ministry. The requirements that must be met by prospective candidates are in the form of performance competence, education and rank of positions that have met the requirements.determining the success of the recruitment of the head of the population and civil registry office based on the results of the auction of the selection committee team and the performance appraisal team, who is the candidate who passes the interview selection and the explanation of the paper that has been made by each candidate and the highest ranking score will be the winner for the candidate candidate and will be the head of the population and civil registry office.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine: (1) the effect of the implementation of guided inquiry learning strategies on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education, (2) the effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education, and (3) the interaction of learning strategies and learning motivation on learning outcomes of education. Islam. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Bireuen. This type of research is a quasi experiment. The study population was all students of class VIII spread over 6 classes. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The data collection instruments were questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used was two-way analysis of variance in the α = 0.05 test. The results showed: (1) there was an effect of the implementation of guided inquiry learning strategies on student learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education. In this case the learning outcomes of students who are taught with guided inquiry learning strategies are higher than the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education students taught with expository strategies. (2) there is an influence of learning motivation on students' learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education, in this case the learning outcomes of students with high learning motivation are higher than the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education students with low motivation, and (3) there is an interaction between learning strategies and motivation. learning about student learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

In the learning process, there are many students who do not pay attention to the lessons delivered by the teacher. This is because students have very little interest in the subject. Students who are classified as few because many students like the lessons to be studied. To foster motivation so that students can be interested in these lessons. It is hoped that it can motivate students in writing. By using discovery learning model that emphasizes understanding and ideas that students will be interested in following the lesson well so that the expected learning achievement can be achieved. Education is a conscious effort that involves educators and students to carry out the learning process, in this case students are actively involved in order to be able to develop their potential to think and understand learning concepts and be able to apply them in everyday life. So, discovery learning can be used in any learning process, especially when later students will become teachers and can practice with students at school. This study aims to determine discovey learning to increase writing motivation, as a sample of two classes taken randomly, one class as an experimental class and the other class as a control class. The research variables are discovery learning and writing motivation.

Abstract

Gojek is a social-minded company that is leading the online-based transportation industry revolution that can be accessed through an application on a smartphone. Gojek also provides various other services such as GoRide, GoCar, GoFood, GoMart, GoBox, and GoSend. There are various kinds of services provided by Gojek which are expected to be able to maintain and improve service quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of satisfaction of Universitas Prima Indonesia students with gojek online transportation services. This type of research is a research using survey method. The minimum number of samples that must be taken is 60 people so that the sample can represent the total population. This research uses importance performance analysis (IPA). Importance performance analysis (IPA) is a method used to measure the level of service satisfaction that is included in the quadrants on the importance performance matrix map. The results of the study show that the service quality and facilities provided by Gojek exceed the expected expectations and are sufficient to consumer satisfaction hearts because the services provided by Gojek can be carried out well by Gojek drivers to consumers and the application made by Gojek is very easy to use.
