Abstract

The piezoelectric speed bumps designed in this study consist of a speed bump mechanical system that functions to receive input from motorized vehicle pressure, piezoelectric cantilever system as a component producing electrical energy and energy harvesting system as energy harvester from piezoelectric material. One system module consists of a piezoelectric parallel circuit connected to the MB39C811 buck converter. In this paper, we will discuss the mechanism for analyzing the design and modeling of a piezoelectric power plant system on a bluff body-based speed bump with a cantilever system for variations in motor vehicle speed by means of physical modeling. In the piezoelectric speed bump in the form of a bluff body, it can be seen that the air flow when passing through the triangular cross section has an increase in speed so that the resulting vortex has a high speed. This is what causes high vibrations in the piezoelectric so that the maximum voltage and the average voltage are the highest. Piezoelectric speed bumps are capable of generating electrical power with an input of 60 times the motorized vehicle track of 2.166mWh with an efficiency of 2.87% compared to manual input.

Abstract

This study aims to explore online and face-to-face learning (class) so that it can be effective, and the curriculum objectives are met. The nature of this research is qualitative phenomenology to be able to find out the extent of the application of learning that has been carried out online and face-to-face at SMA Erlangga Pematangsiantar, North Sumatera. The research mechanism includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research results found several obstacles in terms of implementation but in general, the teacher can overcome them well. During a pandemic, a teacher's creativity is highly tested by the learning he does both in online and face-to-face systems so that learning success can be achieved. Finally, this research gives the result that by comparing the learning system, the teacher actually wants direct (face-to-face) pursuit so that it is easier in the process of interactive communication with students, and student motivation also increases in classroom learning because of direct interaction.

Abstract

Gelatin tannate has been proposed as a theoretically effective treatment for treating acute diarrhea in children. Vegetable tannins have attracted a lot of attention in recent years because of their multifunctional properties, such as beneficial to human health and recently, an antidiarrhea effect of gelatin tannate has been reported. However, inconsistency across the studies was reported. This study aims to perform a meta-analysis concerning the efficacy of gelatin tannate administration for treating acute diarrhea in children Published papers from PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, and Google Scholar were collected, and they were analyzed using a fixed or random-effect model. A total of three relevant papers were included in our analysis. Our pooled analysis found that gelatin tannate administration, compared to control, was associated with reduced stool frequency (mean diff: 0.79 [95%CI: 0.44-1.15], p = 0.000). However, duration of diarrhea (mean diff: 10.87 [95%CI: -7.71-29.46], p = 0.25), weight gain (mean diff: 47.22 [95%CI: -22.81-117.24], p = 0.19), vomiting (OR: 0.57 [95%CI: 0.23-1.41], p = 0.22), and side effects (OR: 1.39 [0.42-4.63], p = 0.59) were not affected significantly between treatment and control groups. Gelatin tannate administration provides the efficacy to reduce stool frequency in children with acute diarrhea.

Abstract

The presence of news photos that appear in print media plays a role in providing strong and accurate information that can contribute creativity and ideas, able to communicate messages through information channels to a mass audience. The research method used in this study is qualitatively descriptive with Roland Barthes's semiotic approach. The results of this study suggest that the news of ramadan and homecoming photos that take place once a year is able to create the meaning of social construction of Indonesian Muslim identity simultaneously a full month brings a positive message through the delivery of messages of kindness at routine activities carried out by Muslims in Indonesia. The marking of denotations, connotations and myths of its nature is everywhere the news of ramadan and homecoming events has become a part of the daily life culture of Indonesian Muslims so that through the structure of meaning that is included in the news photos peritiwa Ramadhan and Mudik has become guidelines and guidance for people in obtaining information on the meaning of the sign of the information needed and desired after publicity became the headline of the National Newspaper in Medan, among others, The Analisa Newspaper and Waspada Newspaper.

Abstract

This study was based on the findings during teaching and learning process at FKIP Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu (the Faculty of Educational Science and Teacher Training of Dehasen University of Bengkulu). There was a phenomenon of declining of good character value and morality. This is because of the misused of advancing technology by students that brings negative impact on the students' character and morality. This phenomenon was especially found among new students of FKIP (Faculty of Educational Science and Teacher Training) on their early stage of study. At the meeting of Educational Profession (Profesi Pendidikan) course, we did early observation by making contract with the new student.. They generally still brought their local character and moralor their old behavior. This could be seen, for example, they talked to their lecturers and seniors impolitely or often used their local language.  Everyone's patience was needed in dealing withthis phenomenon. As the lectures progressed, especially Educational Profession course, we tried to internalize character values toward the students. This had positive impact for them. Today, they are found to be more polite, for example, they greet their lecturers and seniors when they meet them. This study dealt with character values such as: religious, discipline, honest, hard work, responsible, love peace, appreciate achievements, and friendly or communicative. This Exploratory study which was done to internalize character value of the students, has positive impact, this can be seen fromthepositive progress of students' character. Students who already have good character will keep learning to have better personality. This wil affect their future job, especially if they become teachers.

Abstract

Lasykar Syiah Hudan is part of the Zawiyah Cot Kala College, the oldest in Aceh and Southeast Asia, built in the era of the sixth Sultan Peureulak Muhammad Amin Syah Johan Sovereign, early X century AD. One of the great scholars / teachers is Chik Abdullah Kan'an. Center for training activities in Aramiyah / Bayeun (present-day East Aceh). Besides being a professor, Chik Abdullah Kan'an was an adult who was also the leader of Wazirul Harb, the Shia Hudan army in Bandar Khalifah, known as "Teungku Chik Syiah Hudan" and his deputy was Commander Meurah Johan. The realization of the Lasykar Syiah Hudan, have contributed a lot (donations) in the effort to spread Islam through the missionaries / soldiers of Lasykar Syiah Hudan in Aceh and Nusantara / Southeast Asia inXIII AD. For example Meurah Gajah to Tamiang, Meurah Khair to Cot Girek Lhoksukon, Meurah Giri to Seureuleue Aceh Tengah. The objectives of this study were (1) to trace the location of the Syiah Hudan army, (2) the guidance and training of the Syiah Hudan Zawiyah Cot Kala army, and (3) the efforts and contribution of the Syiah Hudan army in the expansion and development of Islam in Aceh. This research design uses historical and critical methodologies. According to Gottschalk (1975: 18), that the study of the critical historical method, its substance excludes inauthentic material and concludes reliable testimony about the original material. The critical historical method consists of 4 (four) steps of the research process, namely gathering sources (heuristics), including primary, secondary and tertiary sources; criticizing these sources (both internal criticism and external criticism), interpreting the facts obtained from criticizing these sources, and historiography, namely reconstructing existing facts that have been interpreted in the form of historical writing, namely the process of synthesizing facts critically. The results of his research show that the contribution of members of the Shia Hudan missionary army, part of Zawiyah Cot Kala, succeeded in introducing Islamic da'wah in Aceh.
