Abstract

In this final project, a temperature and humidity control system for aircraft component storage has been designed using a PID controller and ON/OFF controller. This system is designed so that the warehouse component storage temperature of aircraft components, especially the avionic component (aviation electronic) which has a storage requirement at a temperature of 16-26 °C and humidity at 40-65% maintained at the reference temperature, so that the quality and state of components stored in the warehouse will stay awake his life span and abilities. The control system that was designed consisted of 1 unit 12VDC 10A power supply, 1 unit DC-DC Converter, 1 unit Arduino Uno microcontroller board, 4 DHT22 sensors, 1 unit 2 Channel Relay, 1 unit 180 ° servo motor, and 1 unit dehumidifier. The reference temperature is set at 24 °C and the reference humidity at 60%. The control system consists of a PID controller to control temperature and an ON / OFF controller to control humidity. When the warehouse room is fed with a central AC (air conditioner) flow, the sensor will read the temperature and humidity of the room. The sensor readings will be sent to Arduino to be compared with a predetermined set point. The temperature error value will be processed by the PID with an output control signal in the form of a PWM signal (50Hz) to control the rotation of the servo motor used to open or close the central AC flow. While the humidity error signal will be processed by the ON / OFF controller with an output signal in the form of an ON or OFF state for the relay that is used as a switch for the dehumidifier. The test results with the PID parameter values ​​Kp=75, Ki=40, and K =45 obtained by the heuristic method produces a good system response. The temperature can be controlled between 24 °C - 26 °C and humidity can be lowered when it is above 60%.

Abstract

Plantation is one of the largest natural potentials in Indonesia, which has a tropical climate. Economic activities based on food crops and horticulture are very important (strategic) activities in Indonesia. In terms of potential, the availability of land and natural resources is very large. So that with the design of this Fruit Agrotourism Area, it is hoped that later it will be able to accommodate tourism management and plantation development, especially for the Pabuaran area, Serang Regency. With the application of the concept of organic architecture that is able to adapt to the conditions around the Pabuaran area to support the function of the building and comfort for users.

Abstract

Renewable energy is energy that comes from natural elements and its availability will not run out because it is formed from sustainable natural processes. Renewable energy is an alternative energy to replace fossil energy because it is environmentally friendly and does not produce carbon emissions. Renewable energy sources come from sunlight, wind, water flow, geothermal, etc. One of the renewable energy potentials in Indonesia is wind energy with a total potential of 60.6 GW. Utilization of wind energy can be done by using wind turbines and windbelts to convert wind energy into electrical energy. Windbelt is a device consisting of a permanent magnet, coil and tape to produce electrical energy. When the oscillating band is blown by the wind, the magnet produces a change in magnetic flux, then the magnetic flux captured by the coil produces induced emf at both ends of the coil. In order for the power generated by the windbelt to remain at its maximum point even though the wind speed fluctuates, a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) system is needed. Therefore, in this study, an MPPT system was designed using the Perturb & Observe (P&O) algorithm by controlling the length and tension of the band based on the windbelt output voltage. The optimal voltage generated by the windbelt is 8.93 Volts without using the MPPT system, while when using the MPPT system the optimal voltage is 5.05 Volts. In testing the MPPT system using a load (condition 2), the output voltage has decreased drastically because the current generated by the windbelt is so small that it cannot pass through the load.

Abstract

In this final project, a CNC plotter machine has been designed with three-axis control GRBL application. The expected benefit from the theoretical results of this research is that it can add insight into skills and knowledge in robotics, especially using the Arduino UNO microcontroller and as a reference for researchers in conducting further research. This system is designed to configure the CNC Plotter machine on hardware so that it can carry out the engraving and marking process with the desired image pattern. The control system of this tool consists of several components such as 1 unit 12VDC 10A power supply, 1 unit Arduino Uno microcontroller board, 1 unit CNC Shield board, 2 units motor drivers, 2 units stepper motors, 1 unit servo motor and a pen plotter. To run this CNC Plotter, there are several steps, uploading the GRBL into the Arduino Uno microcontroller, creating images / patterns using inkscape, converting the resulting images in G-code form and uploading the converted data to the GRBL controller application that is already installed on the laptop. Furthermore, the microcontroller will get the data transferred in the form of G-code from the laptop, the microcontroller will read the data to order the CNC Plotter to move according to the data obtained. To produce an optimal image pattern, this CNC Plotter uses three axes, the x-axis is driven by the stepper motor, the y-axis is driven by the stepper motor, and the z-axis is driven by the servo motor.

Abstract

Tourism has an important role for the economic growth of a region. One of the tourist destinations that is currently in great demand by tourists when enjoying holidays is the beach. There is an area that has the natural beauty of a typical big wave area, namely Ketawang beach. This tourist attraction is located in Tawangrejo Village, Grabag District, Purworejo Regency. However, there is no accommodation facility for Resort Hotels on Ketawang Beach to support the completeness of the accommodation on this Ketawang Beach. Considering the increasing number of visitors in Purworejo Regency, especially on this Tawang Beach every year and the potential for its natural beauty. Therefore, the purpose of building a resort hotel in this area is to attract more tourists who visit these tourist attractions in order to make this Ketawang beach tourism object more known by local tourists and foreign tourists and provide comfort and safety for visiting tourists.

Abstract

The exhibition hall provides space for gatherings such as trade and industry fairs, state conferences, concerts, and even weddings. Bogor Regency is an area is still no place that accommodates larger scale meetings. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bogor Regency also did not have a place to facilitate the isolation of COVID-19 patients. Seeing these problems, an exhibition building will be designed that can accommodate meeting and exhibition activities with large-scale visitors in Bogor Regency, as well as being used as a health facility for COVID-19 isolation patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Exhibition Building in Bogor Regency was designed using a hightech architectural approach. With high tech architecture, it is hoped that this exhibition building can support its function as a center for isolation of COVID-19 patients through the use of modern building elements and technology that will be used to facilitate the activities of isolated patients.

Abstract

Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT) menjadi energi alternatif pengganti energi fosil karena ramah lingkungan dan tidak menghasilkan emisi karbon. Energi baru terbarukan merupakan energi yang berasal dari alam yang tersedia di bumi dalam jumlah yang besar, salah satu contoh pemanfaatan energi angin. Perlu dikembangkan energi angin menjadi energi listrik. Generator sabuk angin merupakan salah satu yang dapat memanfaatkan energi angin menjadi energi listrik. Sabuk angin dapat memanfaatkan gerak atau getaran pita yang tertiup oleh angin kemudian menggerakan magnet yang berada di dekat kumparan dan menginduksi kumparan tersebut sehingga menghasilkan arus listrik.Beberapa faktor yang memperngaruhi induksi GGL terbaik dari sebuha windbelt generator yaitu : ukuran pita, ukuran magnet, jumlah lilitan kumparan, dan keceptan angin. Agar daya yang dihasilakan sabuk angin tetap berada pada titik maksimum meskipun dengan kecepatan angin yang berubah-ubah maka diperlukan sebuah sistem Maksimum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). Oleh karena itu penelitian ini merancang sebuah sistem MPPT dengan menggunakan metode Perturb & Observe (P&O) dengan cara mengendalikan (tension) pita berdasarkan tegangan keluaran windbelt. Nilai rata-rata yang dihasilkan oleh windbelt generator sebesar 1,67 Volt pada pengujian sistem tanpa beban.Pada pengujian sistem menggunakan beban tegangan keluaran dari generator windbelt mengalami penuruan yang drstis karena arus yang dihasilkan sangan kecil sehingga tidak mampu melewati beban.
