Abstract

— This study developed a hydroponic control system to regulate nutrient concentration (PPM) and water volume using a Proportional-Integral (PI) controller. The PI controller was chosen for its simplicity and effectiveness in systems that do not require fast response times. A trial-and-error method was used to tune the Kp and Ki values, which were implemented in an ATMega328 microcontroller. The system consists of one AC pump and two DC pumps: DC Pump-1 controls the PPM by supplying liquid fertilizer, while DC Pump-2 regulates the water volume. The results showed that modifying the PI controller with an integrator limitation improved performance. For PPM control, a limit of 13000 with Kp = 2 and Ki = 0.01 resulted in a 0.5% error, 56.8-second rise time, and a 4.8% overshot. For water level control, a limit of 12000 with Kp = 100 and Ki = 0.16 yielded a 3.25% error, 2% overshot, and a 65.4-second rise time. The test results demonstrated that the use of AB Mix can be reduced by up to 26% compared to a conventional PID, with an initial PPM value of around 350.

Abstract

Regional assets are something that has an essential role in the scope of local government because they have a complex value and are quite significant when compared to other components in the local government narrative. This requires local governments to be able to manage and utilize regional assets properly and correctly to increase Original Local Government Revenue in the region. Effective and efficient management of regional assets is one example of the management of the regional economy as shown in the Original Local Government Revenue. Improving the quality of regional asset management that is carried out professionally and modernly is a step taken to prioritize the principles of Good Governance. This research will discuss how to design a model for managing land assets of the North Tapanuli Regency local government that prioritizes the principles of Good Governance by utilizing information technology in the form of designing an information system that is expected to bring changes to the institutions that use it. The information system is expected to make the management of land assets spread across 15 sub-districts neater and more well-organized. In addition, the management of information related to asset leases can facilitate the reporting process and decision making. The purpose of this research is to design an information system as a reference for the Regional Finance and Asset Agency to develop an information system for managing regional assets and leasing regional assets by utilizing web-based and mobile technology. It is expected that through the information system designed in this research, the retribution payers can submit a Lease Application, upload the files of the Application Letter, and download the agreement letter through the application. Another technology that can be utilized in the information system to be built is the use of docker containers to run a lighter database and save time when storing all data related to the object of retribution, retribution payers, applications, lease agreement contracts, bills, and payments. This research also applies data storage technology that divides data into several separate units and then stored in one repository called object storage technology. This technology is used to store large data, create backup copies and archives, and store large amounts of images, graphics, video, or audio files.

Abstract

Shares are a sign of ownership of a person or entity in a company or limited liability company. Shares are in the form of a piece of paper that explains that the paper's owner is the owner of the company that issued the securities. In the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) there are several kinds of stock indices, one of which is LQ45. It is known that until 2020 there were 2.48 million investors in the capital market. However, it should be noted that of the large number of investors, 85% to 90% of investors experience failure or loss. This happens because investors do not have adequate skills and knowledge in investing in stocks. Therefore, a system is needed that can assist in determining the selection of LQ45 stocks, namely a decision support system (DSS). This system was built web-based using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to determine the order of the most recommended stocks in the garden. This study uses 45 stocks as alternative data and 5 selection criteria, namely Return on Assets (ROA), Price to price-to-earnings ratio (PER), Price to Book Value (PBV), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). The implementation of the SAW method on the system produces a sequence of LQ45 stock recommendations, namely Adaro Energy Indonesia as the best alternative with the highest preference value of 0.925.

Abstract

Vehicle detection plays a crucial role in various applications such as traffic surveillance, license plate recognition, and the development of autonomous vehicles. The You Only Look Once (YOLO) object detection method is renowned for its high-speed real-time object detection capabilities. In this study, YOLO is employed to detect vehicles in images and videos. YOLO treats object detection as a direct regression problem for bounding boxes and class predictions. The aim of this research is to develop a vehicle counting system using the YOLO method. The Midpoint algorithm is utilized to calculate the midpoint between two points in a coordinate plane. Another objective is to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the method and algorithm in the context of vehicle detection while identifying related research trends. The test results indicate that the system is capable of detecting vehicles with an average accuracy of 92.42% across four different time periods. In the morning, the system detected 156 vehicles (manual count: 147, accuracy: 94.23%); at midday, it detected 246 vehicles (manual count: 225, accuracy: 91.46%); in the evening, 377 vehicles were detected (manual count: 351, accuracy: 93.10%); and at night, the system identified 526 vehicles (manual count: 225, accuracy: 92.58%). This study contributes to the development of a more effective vehicle counting system for smart city applications while also paving the way for further research on vehicle detection under varying lighting and environmental conditions.
