Because of that, the potential business for mud crab fishing with eco-friendly fishing gear i.e. traps is very good to applied. Applying traps was carried out at Kuala Bubon Village Samatiga Sub district Aceh Barat District Aceh Province. Applying traps is for pilot project for fisherman. The Methods include 1) mentoring and sosialization traps; 2) training for making traps and 3) operating traps. Abstract

At present, the use of plastic is a general consumption in modern society, most of the consumption of plastic is only used once. As a result, a pile of plastic waste will pollute the environment and eventually the plastic waste will end up at sea. The high percentage of plastic waste contamination in the sea as one of the contaminants that can have a negative impact, not only on the environment, but can have an impact on biota that exist in that environment. The method of carrying out community service activities includes the socialization of the impact of plastic waste pollution on biota as well as techniques to minimize excessive use of plastic waste in daily life. The results achieved in the implementation of community service activities are an increase in knowledge and care for the environment.

Abstract

Kue Karah is a traditional cake that has been part of the cultural richness of the Acehnese people for a long time. In West Aceh district, the center of Kue Karah production is in Meureubo District, especially in Langung Village. The problem of partners in making Kue Karah is the process of making karah cakes in the traditional way. In the manufacturing process workers experience the risk of fatigue, and musculoskeletal disorders caused by exposure to heat production equipment. In addition, the quality of products produced is not standardized and organizational and financial management is still family based. For this reason, it is necessary to apply the right technology to overcome this weakness. This community service program is a community partnership program between the university and UMKM makers Kue Karah. This program not only offers problem solving regarding the use of Kue Karah makers, but also technology transfer in the form of Kue Karah makers to improve the quality of Kue Karah products and increase production volumes. In addition, this service program also provides training and assistance in organizational and financial management. Thus this program has a comprehensive, meaningful, complete and sustainable value.

Abstract

Utilization of fishery resources of squid through fishing activities is time to be accompanied by regulation of arrest and cultivation activities covering the effort of hatchery (hatchery) and release to nature. This effort can improve the damage of squid resources as it can be done to enrich the stock to improve and sustain the resources of the squid. One of the most important factors to support the cultivation of squid is egg supply and spawning success. The Rigaih area of Aceh Jaya Regency is one of the most diverse squid stock areas and is captured by local traditional fishermen every day.
