Abstract

The existence of women is often ignored in social and state life, the stigma of women only having obligations and responsibilities as housewives is still felt today. The dual role of career women who work can sometimes cause conflict at work or in the family sphere. This work-family entanglement also occurs among female employees in Jakarta Women's Correctional Institution, which impacts the career development of these female employees. The purpose of this research is to find out and examine the influence of work-family conflict on the career development of female employees in Jakarta Women's Correctional Institution. The total population studied was 71 female employees. The method used in this research is quantitative with a total sampling technique. The result obtained by this research through the regression equation shows that there is an influence of work-family conflict on the career development of female employees in the Jakarta Women's Correctional Institution. This research aims to determine the influence of leader-member exchange on the innovative work behavior of Class IIA Purwokerto prison employees. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study were all Purwokerto prison employees, where a purposive sampling technique using the Krejcie and Morgan method was used to obtain a sample of 92 employees. The results of this research show that leader-member exchange significantly influences the innovative work behavior of Class IIA Purwokerto prison employees. The results of the determination test show that leader-member exchange as an independent variable has a 13% effect on innovative work behavior as a dependent variable for Class IIA Purwokerto prison employees. Researchers expect that future research can add other variables as mediators which might increase the indirect influence of leader-member exchange on innovative work behavior. Abstract

PDAM Tirta Malem is responsible for providing clean water services to the community while contributing to advancing the local economy. However, access to clean water in Kabanjahe Regency still needs to be improved, with only 48,080 of the 75,899 residents of Kabanjahe District having access in 2018. Obstacles such as damaged pipe networks and poor financial management also affect Tirta Malem's service performance. This research aims to describe the performance of PDAM Tirta Malem by utilizing indicators of productivity, service quality, responsiveness, and accountability, as well as analyzing the factors inhibiting and driving its performance. The research method used is qualitative, collecting data through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The research results show that PDAM Tirta Malem has yet to be completely successful in providing clean water services to the community in Kabanjahe District. Although there have been efforts to account for finances and prevent corruption, performance-supporting factors such as increased finances and resources and good leadership are the keys to improvement. On the other hand, inhibiting factors such as lack of human and financial resources and the problem of water theft are still challenges. Research recommendations include installing pumps at water sources, increasing supervision, improving pipe infrastructure, employee training, and implementing better business plans to improve the overall performance of PDAM Tirta Malem. Abstract

The rise of acts of violence against prisoners in cases of sexual violence in correctional institutions plus the mental pressure received by prisoners makes many prisoners with cases of sexual violence experience depression. Self-compassion is considered a capability to reduce prisoner depression. This research aims to find out the influence of self-compassion in reducing the depression of prisoners in cases of sexual violence. This research uses the quantitative research methods which is the primary data that comes from a questionnaire filled out by 50 prisoners in cases of sexual violence at the Class IIB Tasikmalaya Penitentiary. The data analysis technique in this research uses normality tests, simple linear regression, significance, and determination. The analysis results obtained a strong negative influence of self-compassion on depression in prisoners committing sexual violence cases at the Class IIB Tasikmalaya Penitentiary. The higher the self-compassion, the lower the prisoner's depression. Keywords: Self-Compassion; Prisoner Depression; Tasikmalaya Penitentiary

Abstract

Prisoners experience various things, such as losing their sense of security and comfort and even losing self-control. They lose their freedom and independence in prison where they have to live a life they never wanted before, they are not allowed to associate with members of the same sex, they lose the ability to make all their own decisions and they lose their capacity for help and services. This research aims to determine and analyze the factors that support resilience in female prisoners in the case of prostitutes at the Class IIB Bengkulu Women's Penitentiary. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The research shows that the factors influencing resilience are individual characteristics, family influence, and the environment. Based on the research results, it is known that all informants have been able to identify the causes of the problems they face such as feeling sad when they had to leave their family, longing for home and family, and the desire to go home immediately.
