Abstract

Women's Prisons or LPP have different duties, especially for women. Even though they are different, they still protect the rights that must be protected. Criminal acts committed by women in the Bengkulu area do not escape the needs of the family. Sometimes people in the Bengkulu Class IIB Penitentiary are pregnant or have children aged 0 to 3 years. The Ministry of Law and Human Rights always strives for the rights of inmates, especially the rights of female inmates and respect for caring for their children in women's correctional institutions. Even though they are in a correctional institution and are carrying out punishment for mistakes committed by compensation, women are still women who are different from male compensation. Women menstruating, being pregnant and giving birth are privileges that men do not have. Especially women who care for and take their children to correctional institutions. Apart from caring for and providing breast milk, a mother's job is to care for and maintain the health of her child even in limited conditions in a correctional institution. Abstract

Inmates serving sentences have rights protected by human rights and Indonesian law, one of which is the granting of remission. Remission is a reduction in the criminal term for qualified inmates, among others, behaving well but not convicted with the death penalty or life imprisonment. The prison manages the granting of these waivers. The remission is a form of systematic construction in correctional services used in Indonesia. Remission supports the reintegration into society or rebuilding good relations between inmates and the community. Provision of Remission to Inmates who have committed a special criminal offense under Government Regulation No. 99, 2012, was based on a sense of social justice. Currently, the procedure for granting remission for special criminal acts is regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. 7 of 2022 About the Terms and Procedures for Granting Remission, Assimilation, Family Visiting Leave, Parole, Leave Before Release, and Conditional Leave are very different from the previous regulations. Abstract

The concept of criminal thinking sees that someone who has a mindset and is involved in criminal lifestyle habits can give rise to antisocial behavior. The criminal mindset originates from a personality that has a unique or distinctive behavioral pattern, such as rationalization thinking, which always gives rise to justification for behavior that is intended to distort the facts. This research was conducted at the Semarang Class I Prison, and the research subjects were correctional inmates with narcotics crime cases, with a sample size of 100 people. The results showed that the attachment variable had a significant effect on the criminal thinking variable in prisoners at the Semarang Class I Penitentiary, and there is a strong relationship between attachment and criminal thinking in prisoners, and the direction of the relationship between the attachment variable and criminal thinking is in the opposite direction (negative correlation), which means that the higher the level of attachment, the lower the level of prisoners' criminal thinking, and conversely, the lower the level of attachment functioning, the higher the criminal thinking.
