Abstract

This research analyzes how e-billing is implemented in paying taxes at the Stasiun Geofisika Gunungsitoli. The research method used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Primary data was obtained through interviews and secondary data was obtained from official documents, related literature, and other relevant information sources. The research results show that tax payments at the Stasiun Geofisika Gunungsitoli have implemented e-billing, payments are made at the Gunungsitoli Post Office using cash payments and there are still delays in tax deposits. There are several obstacles to implementing e-billing at the Stasiun Geofisika Gunungsitoli, which include not being able to carry out Internet banking transactions due to not having an Internet banking token, the Internet network being unstable or slow, long queues at the post office payment counter, ATM receipts/proof of payment are easily erased, and lack of socialization regarding tax e-billing. Based on these findings, this research recommends that the Stasiun Geofisika Gunungsitoli strive to accelerate the implementation of electronic payment transactions so that tax payments can be made more quickly and easily, can be done anywhere, and avoid delays in tax deposits. It is also necessary to better understand the regulations for paying taxes to avoid tax sanctions. Keywords: E-billing; Tax Deposit; Electronic Tax Payment Application

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of 4P’s marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion) on consumer satisfaction and analyze the effect of satisfaction on consumer loyalty. This research involves quantitative data collection by distributing questionnaires to a purposively selected sample of 100 consumers of Jeruk Pecel Tulen soy sauce in Surabaya City. The analysis method used is the PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling). The results showed that the 4P’s marketing mix variables have a positive relationship with consumer satisfaction, but not all of them have a significant effect. The variables of product and price have a positive and significant effect on satisfaction, while the variables of place and promotion do not have a significant effect on the satisfaction of consumers. Furthermore, satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty of Jeruk Pecel Tulen soy sauce. The limitation of this study is that other variables can measure customer satisfaction and loyalty besides the marketing mix. However, conducting this research can provide insights for future research in helping companies build stronger relationships with consumers, increase consumer loyalty, and ultimately drive business growth. Abstract

Malawi is a low-income country, despite considerable economic and structural reforms to support economic growth. Agriculture is a major driver of the economy and contributes 36% to national output, generates more than 80% of export earnings, and employs more than 80% of the workforce. The study seeks to identify sectors in Malawi with high growth and employment potential. The study employs the growth identification and facilitation framework, a practical policy instrument operationalizing key insights of new structural economics, to assist policymakers in developing countries in identifying industries and products in which they have a comparative advantage. Using Bangladeshi, China, Rwanda, and Vietnam as comparator countries, the agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism sectors emerge as the development potential of Malawi that can be significantly transformed into competitive advantages. Policy implications emanating from his study include the need for policies that will enhance the business environment and encourage the export of goods and services with added value, especially in the sectors where Malawi has a comparative advantage. Abstract

The pandemic phenomenon had a significant impact on small and medium-sized enterprises, compelling them to respond to the situation. Business Model Innovation (BMI) represents an innovation model suitable for the sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly as the local SME situation deteriorated during the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically in 2020-2021. The reconfiguration of business models has emerged as one of the alternatives for SMEs to overcome these challenges. The business model concept enables Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to tackle dynamic business challenges. In reality, the alteration of Business Models (BMs) in SMEs varies across different organizations. This research aims to provide insights into the changes in BMs for SMEs following the pandemic, specifically within the batik industry, through the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) approach applied to various case studies. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative through case studies with case selection using a purposive sampling approach, which is the MSME of the Batik Industry. The results of this study offer empirical information about the Business Model Innovation (BMI) of SMEs during the pandemic, which can serve as a foundation for further research in BMI, particularly concerning SMEs.
