Abstract

The research identifies risks (and response to this) that Black-owned Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the automotive industry face in South Africa. The context is a business environment affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Semi-structured interviews were used for the study with a sample of 11 businesses (6 micro-businesses and 5 small businesses). All the businesses were based either in the Gauteng Province or Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the collected data. The findings highlight the vulnerability of Black SMEs in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic through a set of factors inherent in the business environment. The participating Black SMEs narrated their response to the shocks created by the identified set of factors. The findings of the study provide vital information for policymakers, business leaders, and other stakeholders, to create contingencies, policies, and frameworks necessary to support small businesses. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work ethics and loyalty partially and simultaneously on the work productivity of employees at PT. Bank Sumsel Babel Jakabaring Palembang Branch. The population in this study are all employees of PT. Bank Sumsel Babel Jakabaring Palembang Branch has as many as 44 employees. The data collection technique is a survey by spreading the questionnaires. The instrument testing technique is validity and reliability testing and the analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software version 22. The partial test (t) results of the work ethic variable partially have no significant effect on work productivity at PT. Bank Sumsel Babel Jakabaring Palembang Branch. The better the work ethic of employees does not necessarily increase the productivity of good work. The results of the loyalty variable's partial test partially have a significant influence on work productivity at PT. Bank Sumsel Babel Jakabaring Palembang Branch. The results of the F-test showed that the variables of work ethics and loyalty simultaneously had a significant effect on work productivity at PT. Bank Sumsel Babel Jakabaring Palembang Branch. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Rewards on Employee Performance through Loyalty to PT. Bangun Cipta Anugrah Abadi Palembang. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Bangun Cipta Anugrah Abadi Palembang, totaling 103 employees. The type of research used is quantitative research. Data analysis techniques in this study employed validity and reliability tests, hypothesis testing, and path analysis techniques using the SPSS 22 Windows program. The results of the discussion show that the first research hypothesis test proved that Rewards have a direct effect on Employee Performance, the second research hypothesis test proved that Rewards have a direct effect on Loyalty, the third hypothesis test proved that there is a direct significant effect of Loyalty on Employee Performance, and the fourth hypothesis test proved that indirectly Rewards for Employee Performance have a significant influence on Loyalty. Abstract

The objective of the merger of the three Islamic banks is to strengthen the national banking industry's performance and solidify effective and efficient financing. Guarantees to customers to remain loyal in choosing Bank Syariah Indonesia are the projections and achievements of Bank Syariah Indonesia institutions. The research was compiled using a quantitative description method with all respondents of Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Karawang customers with primary data distributing questionnaires with Likert five scales where respondents expressed their opinions. The results of the data analysis show that the average respondent has been a customer for two years. The merger at Bank Syariah Indonesia on customer loyalty is significant and has linearity and good normality. The level of relationship between the two independent and dependent variables is stated to be low but has a positive trend that is always changing. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Return On Asset (ROA), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Financial distress in transportation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2022 period. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method and then a sample of 15 companies was obtained with sample data from 60 companies financial reports for 4 years of observation. The analysis technique used is the logistic regression analysis technique using SPSS 26. The result of this study concludes that simultaneously Current Ratio (CR), Return On Asset (ROA), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have a significant effect on Financial distress. Partially only the Current Ratio (CR) significantly impacts Financial distress. Return On Asset (ROA) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have no significant effect on Financial distress. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and motivation on employee job satisfaction. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the number of samples studied were 41 respondents. The data analysis techniques used in this study are multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis, t-test, and F-test using the SPSS 26 program. The results of the study can be concluded that partially and simultaneously there is a significant influence between compensation and motivation variables on work satisfaction at the Riangan Railway Management Center of South Sumatra. Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors influencing tourists' decisions to visit Banyumili, Wonosalam. The analytical methods used include descriptive statistical analysis and factor analysis. A purposive sampling method was employed, with 100 respondents to assess visitors' perceptions and factors affecting their visits. Exploratory factor analysis was conducted based on the Marketing Mix 7P model. This research indicates two main factors influencing tourists' decisions to visit Banyumili, Wonosalam. These factors are infrastructure, which includes indicators such as tourist attractions, cleanliness, facility completeness, accessibility, location, safety standards, and social media, and the second factor is cost suitability, which includes ticket and food and beverage indicators. Abstract

The purpose of conducting this research is to find out the effect of Perceived Quality on the Purchase Intention of Prison Edition clothes produced by the Bandung Class IIA Narcotics Penitentiary. The method used in this study is quantitative by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The sample used in this study amounted to 86 respondents. From the results of data processing, it is known that Perceived Quality influences Purchase Intention, with an influence level (R-Square) of 51.8%. Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of organizational support on employee performance at the Class IIA Banyuasin Correctional Institution. The research method used is quantitative research with a nonexperimental quantitative design by testing causal relationships (Causality-Comparative Research). The population used was all 85 employees. This research uses a sampling technique with total sampling. Data was obtained from the results of the questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate analysis, normality test, simple linear regression, significance test and determination test using IBM SPSS 25 software. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and directly proportional influence between variable X and variable. The R square value is 23.1 which shows that organizational support is 23.1% influenced by existing performance and the remaining 76.9% is influenced by other variables. There is a positive influence of organizational support on employee performance at the Class IIA Banyuasin Correctional Institution. Abstract

This study aims to see whether electronic word of mouth has a direct impact on public buying interest in products made by prisoners at the Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Tasikmalaya Class IIB. This research method uses quantitative methods with a population and sample of 108 Instagram social media followers where the entire population is sampled. There are a total of 9 statement items to be questioned and distributed to all officers. The results of the determination test analysis show that the electronic word-of-mouth variable has an influence of 21% on the interest in buying products made by prisoners. This research hypothesis concludes that there is an influence of electronic word of mouth on the interest in buying products made by prisoners of Lembaga PemasyarakatanTasikmalaya Class IIB.
