The Class IIA Purwokerto Correctional Facility (Lapas) implements the Admission-Orientation Period (Mapenaling) program as an effort to help inmates adapt to the new environment and prevent violations during their imprisonment. Mapenaling plays an important role in the initial rehabilitation of inmates, but its implementation often faces challenges that affect the effectiveness of the program. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Mapenaling at the Class IIA Purwokerto Correctional Facility and identify the factors that hinder its success. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with correctional officers and inmates, and analysis of related documents. The results of the study indicate that there are discrepancies between the implementation of Mapenaling and the established standard operating procedures. Some of the main obstacles include the lack of training and understanding of the Mapenaling material among officers, time constraints, and inadequate resources. As a result, the program has not fully succeeded in shaping inmate behavior in accordance with the rehabilitation goals. The conclusion of this research underscores the need for improvements in the implementation of Mapenaling, including increased training for officers and adjustment of procedures to be more relevant to field conditions. It is hoped that with evaluation and adjustments, Mapenaling can become a more effective instrument in the inmate rehabilitation process at the Class IIA Purwokerto Correctional Facility. According to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and Indonesian law, every child, including those in conflict with the law, is entitled to education, which must be fulfilled even when they are under the care of a Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA). However, many children in Indonesia are marginalized from education because of their involvement in crime and admission to LPKA. The government and the children's advocates believe that this is the case when they are given a scholarship to an LPKA. To better understand how education can be optimized for kids under LPKA supervision and what tactics can be used to guarantee that this right is fully realized, this study focuses on the fulfillment of foster children's right to an education at LPKA Class I Blitar. Through documentation studies and interviews, this research employs a case study methodology. Keywords: Fostered Children; Educational Rights; Child Special Development Institution (LPKA)

Children who get a criminal verdict and carry out sentences in LPKA will get various problems and cause anxiety in the process of interacting with individuals and groups of fostered children and officers. The anxiety felt by children in LPKA is due to the limitations and freedoms that are restricted and require time to adapt to their new environment. The condition of foster children whose space is limited has an impact on their psychology, which can cause anxiety. Children are sentenced to punishment not without cause but for the actions they have committed so that they serve their sentence in LPKA. The correctional officers, by using the parenting approach, will help foster children to accept the conditions that are being experienced and provide motivation for foster children to still have a spirit of life and try to improve themselves. Officers can play a role like parents to provide parenting to foster children through coaching and education undertaken by children while in LPKA, which will be able to affect the mental and psychological condition of children. This study aims to explore the irrational beliefs experienced by prisoners at the Class IIA Jember Correctional Institution, specifically related to anxiety that arises before release. Prisoners often face psychological disorders, including anxiety, which are triggered by various factors, such as the length of the sentence and uncertainty about life after release. The research method used was qualitative with a case study approach, involving three prisoners who experienced anxiety before release. The results of the interviews revealed the existence of irrational thought patterns, such as catastrophizing, where prisoners imagine the worst scenario related to social rejection and difficulty adapting after returning to society. The findings show that the anxiety experienced by prisoners is closely related to two types of irrational beliefs, namely catastrophizing and personalization, which contribute to increased anxiety that interferes with prisoners' mental health. This article discusses the world of corrections as a place of punishment for prisoners, which still causes dynamics of internal problems that have not been resolved. The clash with the limitations imposed by the state on the basic needs of prisoners gives rise to various social problems as a result of the social interaction process that can disrupt the process of the correctional system. The problem of deviant sexual behavior by prisoners as a result of the loss of the right to sexual relations is something that has so far become an unresolved discourse. The purpose of this research is to identify the adaptation patterns of homosexual prisoners in prison, which mapping can later become material for strategies to control the problem. This article uses a descriptive qualitative research method to examine dynamic field phenomena. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and document studies. The results of the discussion show that homosexuals have a pattern of conformity and innovation adaptation that can be observed and studied as material for controlling sexual deviation problems in prisons using situational crime prevention. Children in the Special Child Development Institution (LPKA) are in an institution intended for children who are or will be serving a criminal term. The institution provides spiritual formation for correctional students, aiming to enhance their religious knowledge as a fundamental step towards becoming good individuals. Program evaluation, according to Tyler is a process that aims to find out whether educational goals or programs have been realized or not. Evaluation of the Islamic spiritual guidance program carried out in special institutions for child development is carried out by direct observation to see the actual situation in the field. The evaluation is carried out to assess how effective the program is. An evaluation of this Islamic spiritual development program is vital to support decision-making that this program is essential for the children assisted at LPKA and can facilitate the progress of formation at LPKA if the program runs well, because the basis of the guidance carried out is in line with the objectives of LPKA development. Crime is a phenomenon that cannot be avoided and occurs very often in society. Crime can happen to someone regardless of the victim's background, so it can be said that crime cannot be avoided in society and can cause anxiety and a sense of insecurity for Indonesian society. The aim of this research is to understand the school of crime process of recidivist prisoners in this case study (Case Study of the Kalianda Class IIA Penitentiary). After going through the stages of the judicial process such as investigation, trial and determination of punishment, the perpetrator of the crime will be directed to serve his sentence in a correctional institution. Prisoners in correctional institutions receive personality and independence development. The coaching program was not successful because of the large number of prisoners. As a result, there is a School of Crime within the "School of Crime" correctional institution where prisoners can learn various ways of committing crimes, both directly from their interactions with other people and indirectly from the influence of their environment. This is in accordance with Edwin H. Sutherland's Deferential Association theory, which states that crime is not something that is inherited or taught from parents.
