Abstract

Pineapple is an important commodity in Kediri regency, pineapple is very popular because it tastes sweet and has a sour taste, and contains nutrients and antioxidants. The service activity involved the UNISKA faculty of agriculture in collaboration with the pineapple farmer group and PT. PNM Kediri Branch. The objectives of the activity are identification of pineapple farmers' problems through survey activities, solve problems through survey activities, and solve problems through training activities. Pineapple leaf fiber extraction in Kediri regency is not widely known. Farmers still rely on sales in the aspect of pineapple, so it is necessary to add value to the product. The training was carried out in November 2019. The tools and materials used were a 200 liter tank, decomposing microbes, and water. The output of activity is a cluster map of pineapple farmers in Kediri regency and product diversification from pineapple plants. The results obtained are that farmers can produce fiber from pineapple leaves and business assistance for pineapple plants.

Abstract

Technological developments that have entered the 4.0 industrial revolution present their own challenges for village governments. On the other hand, the condition of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has not ended more or less, has hampered all forms of activity in society. as happened in Sambisirah Village, Wonorejo District, Pasuruan Regency. In a pandemic, and the implementation of PPKM (Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions) certainly has an impact on people who want to complete general administration. This service activity is carried out with the aim of improving the quality of service and information through the creation of a website. This service activity uses a Community Based-Participatory Research (CBPR) approach, with the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method, interviews, and simulations. The implementation of this activity resulted in a Village website hosted with the url address pemdessambisirah.id. With this website, it is expected to improve the quality of service and information in Sambisirah Village.

Abstract

Processing cow dung into biogas is one solution that can be offered to cattle breeders in Sekarmojo Pasuruan. This service uses a follow-up approach to the problem of utilizing cow dung waste in Sekarmojo Village as raw material for biogas production. The results of this assistance show additional value results for cattle breeders in Sekarmojo Village Pasuruan including (1) reduced air pollution from cow dung, (2) sharing biogas with neighbors, (3) having the potential for organic fertilizer from biogas slurry, (4) reducing the purchase burden. Abstract

The limited knowledge and skills of the poor in orphanages cause problems of their economic independence. To minimize this problem, community service programs are implemented to empower the poor through entrepreneurship training and home-scale industry assistance. The approach method used is entrepreneurship training and assistance in the manufacture of seasonings in packaging that are selling value. The results of the training and mentoring in the manufacture of packaged spices include the product of four kinds of spices in packaged bottles, namely rawon, empal, red chili and green chili sauce. Entrepreneurship training and business planning are carried out in several activities including entrepreneurship motivation, recording business activities, making business plans, and calculating profits and losses in business. The implementation of the program can be carried out well because of the intensive assistance and cooperation between the orphanage as partner 1 and partner 2 in accommodating and marketing the home-scale industrial products fostered by the Mawaddah Warohmah orphanage.

Abstract

The problem faced by the Slap Strap Making Business Group is that the process of making slap ropes is still manual using a hand drill. This business group experienced many problems when using manual methods, such as the results of the twisting of the slapping rope were not uniform and many were loose. The second obstacle faced is that manual labor requires a lot of manpower for the slap rope spinning process. The last obstacle faced is when using a spinning machine there is a concern that the electricity supply will not be able to meet because the electricity supply in the area around the coast still uses 450 watts of electricity. So that if you use a spinning machine, it is hoped that the machine can be energy efficient and easy to use. The right solution is offered to solve the problem of the need for a spinning machine that is energy efficient and easy to use, namely the manufacture of a slap rope spinning machine with a chain shaft system. The machine includes various components, among others; frames, shafts, bearings, gears, dimmers, belts and pulleys. The propulsion system uses an electric motor. By using the slap rope spinning machine, it is be able to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the slap rope spinning process.

Abstract

This service is expected to be able to develop community capacity building by emphasizing on the development of alternative economic-based empowerment models. The Service Team carries out community service activities in Wonokerto Village, Sukorejo District, because Wonokerto Village is one of the villages that has the potential for mangoes, because most of the residents work as mango farmers. This is supported by data on the number of mango farmers in Wonokerto Village. The focus of the activities carried out by the service team is the formation of tourism awareness groups through the potential of mangoes. This assistance applies the Asset Based Community Development mentoring method, because this service carries out development based on existing assets in the Wonokerto village. The results achieved in this assistance are: the operation of a tourism awareness group through the socialization of the service team with village officials. Processing of mangoes into Dodol Mango products. And promotion of Dodol Mangga products through social media.

Abstract

The Ar-Rohmah Savings and Loans Cooperative is transitioning from conventional cooperatives to sharia-based cooperatives, to meet the demands of cooperative members that are under Islamic values ​​and are more just in transactions under muamalah provisions in Islam. Therefore, to help with the problems faced by the East Java Ar Rohmah Savings and Loans Cooperative and increase the capacity of its human resources, it is necessary to hold training related to Islamic financial management. This activity aims to provide training to employees of the Ar-Rohmah Savings and Loan Cooperative on how to manage finances according to sharia principles so that later they can serve customers well under Islamic sharia provisions. The implementation of this activity uses the Participatory Action Research method through three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Through the evaluation results of the pre-test and post-test with a ratio of 11.91, this community service activity has succeeded in changing the work habits of cooperative employees towards the work and knowledge they apply. The knowledge that has been obtained regarding Islamic financial management is expected to become a driving force for other Islamic cooperative employees.

that can be obtained by using the internet. The issue of hoaxes during the Covid-19 pandemic is very high through internet and social media networks. Negative opinions, slander, hate spreaders that are accepted and attack parties or make people afraid, threatened and can harm the reported party so that it can damage reputation and cause material losses. This activity aims to make Darut Taqwa Vocational School students not easily swayed by HOAX news, understand how to reject HOAX, surf the internet healthily, be wise in social media, as an antidote to hoaxes, and provide education to friends, relatives, family, and the general public about the dangers. Hoax. The method used in this service is the preparation stage, the implementation stage, namely seminars and workshops, monitoring and evaluation stages. Abstract

The objective of this program is managing tourism plastic waste into creative economic products and gaining community empowerment by Community Partnership Program. A community assistance team collaborate with Kampung Warna Warni Jodipan Malang City deciced Ecobrick as the method to creating plasti waste economic products in order to gaining community income as the support for successing sustainable tourism village. Three stages provided for community development, included (1) providing education to the community regarding Sustainable Waste Management Ecobrick and Ecopreneurship as the waste utilization program; (2) informing to the participant about plastic waste hazards to the environment; (3) providing training to the participant about preparation and manufacturing of Ecobricks and Ecopreneurship. The outcomes of this program are participants can understand the concept Sustainable Waste Management, Ecobrick and Ecopreneurship; mindset transformation about the urgency of plastic waste management and environmental protection act, understand the process of ecobrick and ecopreneurship products, also to understand the added value from waste management that can be used as livelihood alternative.

Abstract

Banjar Kemuning Village, most of which are located on the coast, should use a lot of this potential to develop MSMEs. One of the potentials that can be found in coastal areas is seashells. Although the potential for shells is found in Banjar Kemuning Village, shellfish crafts have not been touched to develop at all. To realize the expected conditions of the assisted subjects, the method in this empowerment program uses Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). The implementation of devotion for coastal communities can be concluded successfully until the training stage of making nine forms of shell shell crafts. 80% of participants have understood the process of processing shells into high-value craft, so that the use of natural resources to improve the family economy at times especially low season can be achieved.
