Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to prove that the weighted average cost of capital can be used as a measurement of capital structure optimization. The sample was nine food and beverage companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2019 taken secondary data were used with a quantitative approach. Hypotheses were tested by using multiple linear regression analysis. Analysis showed that simultaneously had significant effects on the cost of capital. Partial analysis showed that the debt to asset ratio affected the cost of capital. The long-term debt to equity ratio and net profit margin partially did not affect. Comparison of means showed that return on investment was lower than the means of the WACC. Thus, it can be concluded that the weighted average cost of capital can be used as a benchmark of capital structure optimization with the weighted average cost of capital as the minimum rate of return on investment.

Abstract

The implementation of regional government affairs since decentralization politics is felt to be a big responsibility for the regions in creating welfare for their people. In the performance of functions that are the regions' responsibility, not all of them can be carried out by the Regent himself. Therefore, part of the Regent's authority duties, especially public service duties, need to be delegated to regional apparatus, one of which is the sub-district. The delegation of part of the Regent's authority to the sub-district head was administrative. The regional instrument in this sub-district was unable to provide optimal public services to the community. This condition's impact is that the community as citizens will not receive the benefits they are entitled to. This research is intended to look at the delegation of part of the Sidoarjo Regent's authority and the potential for the discretion of regional apparatus in the sub-district in administering public services. This research was conducted in Waru District and Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques and in-depth interviews (in-depth-interview) with key informants. The research results were analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that: a) The Head of District (Camat) discretion to exercise part of the Regent's authority in administering licensing services cannot be exercised. b) Implementation of licensing services runs as is; c) Community rights in obtaining service products are still stagnant.

Abstract

The pier is the place where the ships are being moored at the port. It is also a place for loading and unloading activities and for people or passengers to get on or get off from the ships. There is a need for a digital recording of vehicles or passengers entering the ships to speed up the port administration process. For this reason, in this study, a prototype of a Vehicle and Passenger Recording System (Manifest) at the dock access gate is integrated in an integrated manner based on the Internet of Thing (IoT), which consists of an Android and Web system. This system uses a QR-Code as a ticket that contains manifest data and is read with a QR-Code Reader to be compared with the data stored in the server. If it is appropriate, the dock entrance will be active, and the vehicles or passengers can enter the ships. Whereas if it does not fit, they cannot be open the pier access door. From the test results, the mechanical system can function as expected and can recognize as the entire QR-Code within an optimal distance of 3 cm. All registered users can open the door, as well.

The convenience of this process (people throw away their paper waste and at the same time they get money) has started to rise in demand from the community, especially among college students. Up to this day, Rosokku has used media such as WhatsApp and Instagram to engage with its clients so far. As the number of clients has risen, in deciding the pick-up schedule, rosokku has begun to become overwhelmed. There is a lot of data that is not well documented. Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus sufferers are estimated to have reached 9.1 million people. This data makes Indonesia ranked 5th in the world with the highest Diabetes Mellitus. Diabetes Mellitus is one of the main causes of non-communicable diseases or 2.1% of all deaths, including East Java province. The key to managing blood sugar levels is managing carbohydrate intake. This is because carbohydrates are responsible for raising blood sugar levels. Managing the number of carbohydrates is the main goal, although choosing slow-digesting carbohydrates with high fiber content. Apart from carbohydrates, diabetics also need to limit their intake of salt, saturated fats and avoid trans fats. People with diabetes need to include fiber and healthy fats in their daily diet. People with diabetes have a higher risk of developing hypertension, high cholesterol, and heart disease than the general population. It is very important to consider these risks when planning a diet. For that, we need snacks that are low in calories and have high levels of dietary fiber and low trans fat content. UPN Veteran Jawa Timur through the Community Innovation Service Program (BIMA) provides training to UD. Rinjani Cookies to produce various snacks made from cocoyam tubers (Kimpul) with high enough healthy nutrition. Abstract

The impact of covid-19 is not sufficiently impacting the health sector, the economic sector is equally affected. The existence of large-social restrictions, policies that scale psychological distancing cause the economic condition of the community to chaos. The scope of society that is then most affected is the people with the middle to lower economy. Surabaya, which is one of the industrial trading cities, is economically affected. The effect of the rapidly declining trading business conditions was influenced by the conditions of trading business in Indonesia and even the world. The world economy is currently on the worst curve. An increase in unemployment also occurred in the city of Surabaya. Several business businesses in Surabaya have closed down due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is necessary then to think about efforts to get out of the big hole of the economic downturn. The community must be independent to build the family economy. This should be the focus of the economic development of the family. Increasing home-based trading is an effort that can be initiated by each family, to build an independent economy, without depending on a country that is currently also at a low economic point. Through the economic independence of the family, the hope is that it will build the country's economy slowly but surely. This dedication moves the PKK organization to encourage home-based business by utilizing information technology media. Apart from that, it also encourages people to be literate in law and economic legal policies to support the economic independence that will be built.
