Abstract

Improving the performance of inpatient nurses is crucial in the healthcare industry. Good nursing performance can have a positive impact on patient satisfaction and hospital reputation. As a result, it is critical that hospital administration addresses variables that may affect nurse performance and satisfaction. A welcoming and comfortable work atmosphere is one of the elements that might affect nurses' job happiness. The purpose of this study was to ascertain how the performance of inpatient nurses at X Medan Hospital was impacted by their level of work satisfaction. Researchers concentrated on variables that affect nurse performance, such as pay, relationships, advancement, and supervision. A survey with a randomly selected sample of thirty-six respondents was the study technique employed. Multiple linear regression analysis was used for the data analysis. The study's findings demonstrate the association between job satisfaction and nurse performance in the inpatient room at RS X Medan as well as salary, promotion, and supervision. This indicates that hospital management needs to address these factors for enhancing satisfaction and nursing performance, thereby providing better healthcare services to patients.

Abstract

Public Health Center of Payung district Karo is a Rural Health Center has been providing patient services using e-PUSKESMAS application since 2023 and has been connected to SATU SEHAT since December28th 2023. The aimed of the research is to analyze the relationship between health workers' perceptions, health workers' education level, health workers knowledge, as well as facilities and infrastructure on effectiveness and efficiency in implementing e-PUSKESMAS in Public Health Center of Payung by using qualitative research that conducted from November 2023 to March 2023. The sampling of the research used the Exponential Non-Discriminatory Snowball with the Sampling technique with 7 informants consisting of one head of community health center, one administrative person, one person from registration, one person from service, one person from laboratory, one person from pharmacy and one patient as triangulation informants. The results of the analysis to conclude that e-PUSKESMAS is effective to supporting the data-based and efficient decision making because it speeds up the work of health workers and reduces administrative costs and increases the satisfaction of patients seeking treatment at Public Health Center of Payung. The small number of health workers with bachelor's education levels and lack of training, as well as the limited number of laptops causes health workers to be less effective and efficient use of e-PUSKESMAS in serving patients.It is recommended for the Public Health Center Management to carry out Learning by doing by creating an e-PUSKESMAS operational module that is easy to understand and creating a ToT (Training of Trainer) program, so that the quality of service is more effective. Providing laptop facilities in each service unit to increase the efficiency of e-PUSKESMAS. The Karo Health Service needs to monitor regularly and the monitoring results are immediately implemented in the provision of infrastructure, so that patient services using e-PUSKESMAS are more effective and efficient at Public Health Center of Payung.

Abstract

The HIV virus can be transmitted from an HIV-infected mother to her child during pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding. Transmission from momy to son also tends to increase as the number of HIV positive women increases. The study purpose the determinants is affect pregnant women for HIV testing at the Rawang Pasar IV Health Center in Asahan District in 2023, with a survey research type using a cross sectional design. The population in this study were pregnant women in the Worked Area of the Rawang Pasar IV Community Health Center with a total of 138 people. The sampled technique used is purposive sampled. Data collection was carried out by interviewing used a questionnaire. Bivariately with the Chi-Sqare test at 95% confidence level, α=5%. The results of the analysis showed that there was a relationship between the age of pregnant women and the participation of pregnant women for HIV testing, occupation, knowledge, attitude with the participation of pregnant women for HIV testing. For the Asahan District Health Office to increase the role of midwives and private practice doctors to implement the PMTCT program so that they are able to reach more pregnant women, including working pregnant women who do not have time to come during the opened hours of the Puskesmas service

Abstract

The development of the current era makes people become more active in seeking information about health. Hospital service quality has two components, namely compliance with predetermined quality standards and fulfillment of customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of national indicators of Hospital Quality in relation to the service quality dimensions of Sembiring Deli Tua General Hospital. The type of research used in this study was quantitative analytic in nature with a Cross Sectional design with a total sample of 72 people. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using Chi-Square test at 95% confidence level, α=5%. The results of the study showed that the implementation of national indicators of hospital quality based on good effectiveness was 51.4%, based on good category safety was 55.6%, based on good category orientation was 58.3%, based on timely category was not good at 58.3% , based on good category efficiency of 54.2%, based on good integrated category of 56.9%, good category hospital quality of 47.2%. This study shows that there is a relationship between the implementation of national hospital quality indicators and the dimensions of hospital service quality based on effectiveness (p=0.010), based on safety (p=0.023), based on patient orientation (p=0.039), based on timeliness (p= 0.046), based on fairness (p=0.020). The results of the study suggest that hospital management creates a climate of healthy competition, by giving awards in the form of salary bonuses every 6 months or empowering nurses who have worked as trainers/instructors for a long time or with good performance in the form of promotions, incentives, and others. .

The Relationship Between Knowledge Level and Motivation of Women of Childbearing Age with Acetic Acid Visual Inspection Examination in the Puskesmas Work Area. skripsi, Department of Midwifery, Faculty of Midwifery, Deli Husada Health Institute, Old Deli. Based on a preliminary study conducted at the Deli Tua Health Center in 2023, there are 50 people who undergo IVA examination screening from a total of 100 women of childbearing age who visit the Deli Tua Health Center. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and motivation of WUS with IVA examination in the work area of the Old Deli Health Center. This type of research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional study design. The population is 100 women of childbearing age who visit the Deli Tua Health Center from January to June 2023. The sampling technique is 50 people. Data analysis using Chi-Square test with confidence level (α=0.05). There is a relationship between the level of knowledge and motivation of WUS with IVA examination in the working area of the Deli Tua Health Center in 2023 with a value of p=0.001 where p < α (0.05). Therefore, it is expected to be more active Women of childbearing age to increase Knowledge and Motivation carried out by Health workers and Women of childbearing age are expected to seek information about cervical health and early detection of cervical cancer in mass and print media

Abstract

This research aims to identify the psychosocial factors causing mental health disorders among employees at the Bunda Medika Pratama Clinic in Kampar. The research design used is a quantitative survey with a cross-sectional study design. The sample in this study consists of 30 employees of the Bunda Medika Pratama Clinic in Kampar, Riau Province, obtained through census sampling. Data analysis uses univariate analysis to describe the psychosocial factors causing mental health disorders. Bivariate analysis is used to determine the influence of each factor, while multivariate analysis is used to identify the dominant variables affecting mental health disorders. The results of this study reveal a significant relationship between workplace demands and the level of mental health disorders. There is no significant relationship between organizational work and job content variables and mental health disorder variables. There is a significant relationship between interpersonal relationships and leadership variables and mental health disorder variables. There is a significant relationship between interfacing with individuals and mental health disorder variables. There is no significant relationship between workplace values and mental health disorder variables. There is a significant relationship between health and well-being variables and mental health disorder variables. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between offensive behavior variables and mental health disorder variables. Overall, offensive behavior is the dominant variable influencing mental health disorders.

Abstract

Organizational culture and incentives are factors that can affect the performance of organizational members in achieving organizational goals. One of the organizational members of the hospital is nurses who are the health workers with the largest proportion in the hospital and nurse performance plays an important role in providing health services. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship of organizational culture and incentives to the performance of executive nurses at RSU Haji Medan in 2023. This research design is a cross sectional study. The sample in this study were 92 nurses. Based on the results of statistical tests with Chi-square, there is a significant relationship between organizational culture of involvement with nurse performance with p-value = 0.002 and PR value = 6.87, between organizational culture of adjustment with nurse performance with p-value = 0.001 and PR value = 8.30, between organizational culture of consistency with nurse performance with p-value = 0.001 and PR value = 10.5, between organizational culture of mission with nurse performance with p-value = 0.001 and PR value = 20.0. There is no significant relationship between the criteria for providing incentives and nurse performance p-value = 0.346, and between the incentive delivery system and nurse performance p-value = 0.434, and it is found that the mission organizational culture variable is the strongest variable associated with nurse performance p-value = 0.001 and PR = 20.0. The hospital mission is more clearly socialized to all hospital employees, especially executive nurses, and nurses are expected to prepare and set strategies in carrying out the mission to achieve the long-term goals of the Haji Medan General Hospital.

Abstract

Program evaluation is conducted to determine the level of success of a program by knowing the effectiveness of each component. This study aims to evaluate gaps in the implementation of the Tuberculosis Prevention and Control program at Sei Agul Health Center in 2022. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The informants of this study were the Head of Puskesmas, TB program holder, cadre, DM program manager, HIV program manager, MCH program manager. The results showed that there are still gaps in health promotion, case finding, risk factor control, resources, coordination, networking and partnerships and in community participation. Suggestions include collaborating with health promotion program holders to disseminate information and TB control program activities that have been carried out to social media and local TV. Involve community leaders, religious leaders, influencers and testimonials of former TB patients by creating interesting content, using local language that is easy to understand and uploaded on the official accounts of the Medan City Health Office and puskesmas either on tiktok, instagram or facebook. Conduct training/workshops for DM, HIV and MCH program holders on TB screening in patients who have risk factors for comorbidities, create quarterly TB case finding achievement charts for puskesmas and conduct continuous socialization, implement a public private mix program between hospitals, clinics, puskesmas and other health worker practices to implement the TB DOTS program.

Abstract

Hospital Management Information System, hereinafter abbreviated as SIMRS, is a communication information technology system that processes and integrates the entire flow of hospital service processes in the form of a network of coordination, reporting and administrative procedures to obtain precise and accurate information, and is part of the Health Information System. The aims of the research is to analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing SIMRS for patient services at the Altara clinic. The method of the research is to use descriptive analysis with the interview method. The population of the research is employees at Altara clinic with a sample size of 10 respondents consisting of 9 main respondents and 1 triangulation respondent (patient). The results of the research are the influence of SIMRS Human Resources on the effectiveness and efficiency of patient services at Altara clinic , that SIMRS human resources are not in accordance with SIIMRS educational background, but all informants must take part in training which is conducted once a month for one hour so that the implementation of SIMRS is effective and efficient in service patient . SIMRS facilities and infrastructure factors for the effectiveness and efficiency of patient services at the Altara Clinic are complete so that patient services are effective and efficient. SIMRS operational procedure standards for the effectiveness and efficiency of patient services at the Altara Clinic have been provided so that harvest services are effective and efficient The conclusion of the research is that efficiency, trust and customer support have a relationship with patient satisfaction
