Abstract

Posyandu is a form of health effort that is sourced from the community which is a tangible manifestation of community participation in health development. The importance of revitalization is an effort to revive the existing posyandu to rediscover the potential that is owned in improving the posyandu level. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Posyandu Revitalization on the Posyandu Strata at MutiaraPuskesmasAsahan Regency in 2020.This study used a quantitative approach with observational research using a cross sectional design with a sample of 63 Posyandu cadres. The analysis used in this research was the univariate, then the bivariate test using the Chi Square test and the multivariate test using the multiple logistic regression test.The results of this study indicate that there was an effect of Posyandu cadre training which is carried out at least 2 x one year. . There is the influence of social support from the local government through the Lurah and providing incentives, transportation costs to posyandu cadres on the Posyandu Strata of MutiaraPuskesmas, Asahan Regency and social support is the most dominant variable having an influence on the Posyandu Strata with the Exp value. B was 9,429 and 95% CI: (1,137 - 78,162) indicates that good social support was 9,429 times the estimated probability of having a good posyandu strata at PuskesmasMutiaraAsahan Regency. It is suggested to increase and continue to provide incentives and transportation costs for posyandu cadres and there needs to be intensive motivation and support from the local government, health offices, puskesmas, and other related parties, so that in the future the performance of posyandu cadres can increase their participation and activity in providing service to the community.

Abstract

Nurse compliance in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is behavior as a professional regarding recommendations that must be carried out and obeyed according to procedures. The research is a quantitative analytical study using a cross sectional design. The aim of the research is to analyze the factors that influence compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by nurses at the Babahrot Inpatient Health Center, Aceh Regency. the population was 58 respondents in the Babahrot Inpatient Health Center, with total sampling technique, the data was obtained from the results of interviews by distributing questionnaires that had been prepared by the researcher. The Data analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately using an independent t-test with an alpha value (a) of 0.05. The results of the research were the influence of knowledge, attitudes, information about Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), availability of PPE, and supervision of compliance with the use of PPE at the Babahrot inpatient health center, Babahrot sub-district, last year. There was no effect of the work period on compliance with the use of (PPE) at the Babahrot inpatient health center, last year. There was no influence of education on compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE )at the Babahrot inpatient health center, Babahrot subdistrict,last year.

Abstract

Bunda Thamrin General Hospital, Medan, is a type C private hospital that offers various types of care, including dental care. In the digital era, the Mobile JKN application was introduced to simplify the registration and patient care process. However, many patients still experience difficulties using it. This study aims to analyze the comparison of patient satisfaction levels between the Mobile JKN application and the on-site service at Bunda Thamrin General Hospital, Medan, using the SERVQUAL approach, which encompasses five dimensions: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method and a purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of 56 respondents, namely BPJS dental care patients who registered through Mobile JKN and on-site. Data analysis was performed using a bivariate statistical test, with a significance value of p < 0.05 as an indicator of significant differences between services. The results showed that overall satisfaction levels were higher among users of the Mobile JKN service (mean = 0.70) compared to users of the on-site service (mean = 0.14), with a p = 0.000. The dimensions of Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy showed significant differences favoring Mobile JKN. However, no significant difference was found in the Tangibles aspect (p = 0.173), indicating that ease of access remains a challenge for both services. It can be concluded that Mobile JKN provides a more satisfactory service overall than On-Site, particularly in terms of trustworthiness, response speed, security, and empathy for patients.

Abstract

The Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is an information technology system that processes and integrates the entire hospital service process flow, to support patient service management and health information management in hospitals. Good use of HMIS is very necessary to support the smooth service process in a hospital. This research aims to find out how to analyze factors related to the use of the hospital management information system (HMIS) at the sembiring deli tua general hospital based on a perspective of task characteristic, technology characteristic and task technology fit. This research is a quantitative research, with analytical observational methods, cross-sectional approach and uses a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The research sample consisted of 82 HMIS users determined using the slovin formula. The questionnaire used was tested for validity & reliability on 30 people outside the sample, namely officers directly related to SIMRS at Grandmed General Hospital. The results of the Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test inform that the data is normally distributed, therefore the analysis method used was the pearson product moment test. Based on the test results, it is known that task characteristic have a p-value of 0,001, technology characteristic have a p-value of 0,001 and task technology fit have a p-value of 0.000. This proves that all variables have a positive and significant relationship with the HMIS utilization, because the p-value obtained is <0.005. So it can be concluded that the higher the level of task characteristics, technology characteristic and task technology fit, the higher the level of HMIS utilization at the Sembiring Deli Tua general hospital.

Abstract

Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) is an IT-based application designed to manage the entire hospital service and administration process in an integrated manner to increase efficiency and effectiveness. A hospital is a health service facility that provides comprehensive medical services, including RI, RJ, and emergency and as a place for research in the health sector. HOT-Fit is an information system evaluation model that assesses the suitability between human, organizational, technology, and Net-Benefit aspects in supporting the successful use of the system. This study aims to analyze the determinants of factors for the use of the Hospital Management Information System Application (SIMRS) using the Human Organization Technology-Fit (HOT-FIT) method at Sembiring General Hospital. This study uses a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach involving SIMRS users, namely 80 respondents into a sample selected through the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data analysis used Univariate and Bivariate (Pearson Product Moment Correlation). The results showed that all independent variables had a significant relationship with the use of SIMRS at RSU Sembiring (P-Value<0.05). The variables of System Quality, Service Quality, System Users, and Organizational Structure P-Value (0.001, 0.001, 0.005, 0.004) with r are in the range of 0.20-0.399 (Weak). Meanwhile, the Information Quality Variable, user satisfaction and environmental conditions of the facility P-Value (0.001, 0.001, 0.001) with r are in the range of 0.40-0.599 (Quite Strong) This means that these three factors play an important role in increasing the effectiveness of using SIMRS. These findings show that the success of SIMRS implementation is largely determined by human, technological, and organizational aspects. Therefore, hospitals are advised to continue to improve the quality of systems, services, and user training to optimize the overall utilization of SIMRS

Abstract

Breakfast is an important habit to support learning concentration, energy fulfillment, and prevent nutritional disorders in elementary school children. However, most children still skip breakfast due to a lack of knowledge and awareness about the importance of a healthy breakfast. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on increasing knowledge about the importance of breakfast among elementary school students in Medan Sunggal District, Medan City. This study used a pre-experimental one group pretest–posttest design. Data collection was conducted through interviews using a structured questionnaire that measured the level of student knowledge before and after being given health education. Education was carried out through an interactive lecture method with video media about balanced nutrition. Data were analyzed using a paired t-test at a 95% confidence level. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge scores after health education (p < 0.000). This indicates that health education has an effect on increasing student knowledge about the importance of breakfast. It is hoped that schools and parents will collaborate continuously through educational activities about nutrition and health as an effort to prevent nutritional problems in elementary school students who are the next generation of the nation.

Abstract

The implementation of office Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in accordance with Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016 is crucial to create a safe and healthy work environment. Without adhering to OHS standards, various issues such as increased risk of accidents, health problems, decreased productivity, and high healthcare costs can arise. Therefore, companies must ensure that all aspects of OHS are well-implemented to protect workers' well-being and enhance operational efficiency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of office OHS according to Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016 at the Sembiring General Hospital Office in 2024. This research design uses a qualitative survey method with a descriptive phenomenology approach through the implementation of office occupational health and safety standards based on Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016 at the Sembiring Hospital Office. The results of the study, based on the assessment data of office health and safety standard criteria in accordance with Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016 and interview data with informants, show the following: the implementation of office health and safety standards was identified as moderately successful with a score of 48.39%, the implementation of office OHS policy was identified as less successful with a score of 34.52%, and the implementation of office occupational safety was identified as moderately successful with a score of 51.01%. This indicates that there are still many health and safety standard criteria that need to be fulfilled or optimized according to Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016 on Office Occupational Health and Safety.
