Abstract

Breakfast is an important habit to support learning concentration, energy fulfillment, and prevent nutritional disorders in elementary school children. However, most children still skip breakfast due to a lack of knowledge and awareness about the importance of a healthy breakfast. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on increasing knowledge about the importance of breakfast among elementary school students in Medan Sunggal District, Medan City. This study used a pre-experimental one group pretest–posttest design. Data collection was conducted through interviews using a structured questionnaire that measured the level of student knowledge before and after being given health education. Education was carried out through an interactive lecture method with video media about balanced nutrition. Data were analyzed using a paired t-test at a 95% confidence level. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge scores after health education (p < 0.000). This indicates that health education has an effect on increasing student knowledge about the importance of breakfast. It is hoped that schools and parents will collaborate continuously through educational activities about nutrition and health as an effort to prevent nutritional problems in elementary school students who are the next generation of the nation.

Abstract

The implementation of office Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in accordance with Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016 is crucial to create a safe and healthy work environment. Without adhering to OHS standards, various issues such as increased risk of accidents, health problems, decreased productivity, and high healthcare costs can arise. Therefore, companies must ensure that all aspects of OHS are well-implemented to protect workers' well-being and enhance operational efficiency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of office OHS according to Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016 at the Sembiring General Hospital Office in 2024. This research design uses a qualitative survey method with a descriptive phenomenology approach through the implementation of office occupational health and safety standards based on Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016 at the Sembiring Hospital Office. The results of the study, based on the assessment data of office health and safety standard criteria in accordance with Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016 and interview data with informants, show the following: the implementation of office health and safety standards was identified as moderately successful with a score of 48.39%, the implementation of office OHS policy was identified as less successful with a score of 34.52%, and the implementation of office occupational safety was identified as moderately successful with a score of 51.01%. This indicates that there are still many health and safety standard criteria that need to be fulfilled or optimized according to Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016 on Office Occupational Health and Safety.

Abstract

Abstract Service waiting times remain a prevalent issue in healthcare delivery, often leading to dissatisfaction among patients. The standard set by the Minister of Health Decree No. 129/Menkes/SK/II/2008 regarding Minimum Outpatient Service Standards in Hospitals is ≤ 60 minutes. A survey conducted on the website of RSUD Cut Meutia revealed that many individuals experienced prolonged waiting times to access outpatient services. In this study, researchers employed a quantitative analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population comprised all patients seeking treatment at the outpatient department based on specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample size for this study was 88 individuals. Data analysis involved the use of the Fisher exact test and multiple regression test. The findings indicated a significant impact of various waiting times on patient satisfaction, including registration waiting time (p = 0.004), doctor examination waiting time (p = 0.043), patient waiting time, drug collection waiting time (p = 0.026), and financial waiting time (p = 0.004). The multiple linear regression test demonstrated that registration waiting time (p = 0.004, Exp B 8.717) was particularly influential, with each unit increase in registration waiting time associated with an eightfold increase in outpatient dissatisfaction.Overall, there was a clear relationship between waiting times for outpatient services post-accreditation and patient satisfaction at RSUD Cut Meutia, North Aceh Regency, in 2023.

Abstract

Immunization is an effort to actively create/increase a person's immunity against a disease so that if one day they are exposed to that disease they will not get sick or only experience mild illness. The aims of the research to analyze the factors that influenced participation in DPT HB HiB immunization for 4 babies under two years (baduta) in Gayo Lues district, Aceh Province last year. The type of the research used a correlative descriptive research design with a cross-sectional approach, the population is 40 respondents in the Gayo Lues district area, using a total sampling technique the data was obtained from the results of interviews by distributing questionnaires that had been prepared by the researcher. The Data of analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately with an independent t-test and with an alpha (a) value of 0.05. The results of the research showed that there was no influence of family support on DPT HB Hib 4 immunization for babies under two years old (BADUTA) in Gayo Lues district, Aceh province last year. Abstract

SDIDTK is growth and development during the first 5 years of life. The aim of the research is for all toddlers aged 0-5 years and preschool children aged 5-6 years to grow and develop optimally. The writing aims to determine the effect of providing primary education to mothers on the growth and development of toddlers in the working area of ​​Pintu Rime Health Center, Pining District, Province. Aceh last year, the type of the research used quantitative with a quasi-experimental pre and post-test design, a population of 35 respondents in the Pintu Rime Community Health Center area, Pining District, Aceh Province, with consecutive technique, data sampling obtained from the results interviews by distributing questionnaires that have been prepared by researchers. The Data of analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using the independent t-test with an alpha (a) value of 0.05. The results of research using the independent t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000, so it can be concluded that there was an influence of providing SDIDTK education to the mothers on the growth and development of toddlers in the Pintu Rime Health Center Working Area, Pining District, Aceh Province last year.

Abstract

Human resource management is necessary to support the achievement of the hospital's vision and mission. One of the problems in human resource management is that the desire to leave (intention to quit) can cause employees to decide to leave their jobs. The study was conducted among State Civil Service (ASN) employees at Tuan Rondahaim Regional Hospital. The number of planned staff turnover at Tuan Rondahaim Hospital in the 3 years from 2021 to 2023 all exceeds the standard (Leap in Lusiati 2013, 10-11%), the average is 12.23%. The research objective is to analyze factors related to employee turnover intention at Tuan Rondahaim Hospital. The study design used was cross-sectional. The study population was 52 people with a sample size of 52 people using the total sample. The results of bivariate analysis show that the variables related to intention to quit are reward factors (p=0.031), career development (p=0.031) and geographical factors (p=0.011), in Then the variables not associated with labor turnover intention are age (p=0.739), marital status (p=0.400) and workload (p=0.342). Multivariate analysis results show that the variable most related to intention to quit is the career development factor with Exp (B) of 10.752 (95% CI 2,000-57,794), meaning employees are not satisfied with the job. Current career development is a coefficient of 10.752 with intention to leave many times higher than employees who are satisfied with career development at Tuan Rondahaim Hospital. It is hoped that Tuan Rondahaim Hospital can provide employees with career development that is appropriate to their skills and sustainable.

Abstract

Husband's support is often known by another term, namely support in the form of sympathy, which is proof of affection, attention, and a desire to listen to other people's complaints. Needs, abilities, and sources of support change throughout a person's life. The Family is the first environment known to individuals in their socialization process. The aim of the research to analyze the relationship between the husband's support and the mother's physical and psychological condition during childbirth at Muhammad Ali Kasim Hospital, Gayo, Aceh Province., the population of 40 respondents at Muhammad Ali Kasim Hospital , Gayo Lues Aceh, the purposive of the sampling technique, the data was obtained from the results of interviews by distributing questionnaires that had been prepared by the researcher. The Data of analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test with an alpha value (a) of 0.05. The results of research using the chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). It can be concluded that Ho was accepted, which means there is a relationship husband's support with the mother's physical condition during childbirth at Muhammad Ali Kasim Hospital, Aceh. The results of the research using the chi-square test, the p-value was obtained at 0.002 (p<0.05) it can be concluded that Ho was accepted, which means There is a relationship between the husband's support and the mother's psychological condition during childbirth at Muhammad Ali Kasim Hospital, Gayo Lues Aceh.
