Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how audio-visual media can help improve engagement, motivation, and the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. By combining sound and images, the use of audio-visual media is considered capable of providing a more realistic learning experience, thereby helping students understand abstract ideas such as stories of goodness, religious practices, and moral principles. By interviewing three students, this study used a qualitative descriptive approach to learn their views on the performance of the media. The study has found that audio-visual media can create a more interesting and enjoyable classroom environment, in addition to helping students pay attention and understand information. When instructors play learning videos, animations, or audio recitations of the Quran, students become more motivated and active in the learning process. Concrete visualizations also help reduce verbosity and improve students' long-term retention of the subject matter. Therefore, audiovisual media has proven to be a powerful pedagogical tool for realizing interactive, dynamic, and relevant learning according to the characteristics of children in the digital era.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze inpatient data in order to segment patients based on specific characteristics such as age, type of illness, medical procedures, and length of stay. The K-Means Clustering method is applied to identify patterns or patient segments that can be utilized in decision-making related to bed management and medical staff allocation more efficiently. The analysis was conducted using the Python programming language for data processing and result visualization. The findings indicate the existence of several groups of patients with distinct characteristics, which can serve as a strategic reference for improving service quality and the operational effectiveness of the hospital.

Abstract

Technological advances in the digital age have brought significant changes in the communication patterns between parents and children, especially in Islamic preaching. Children often feel that such surveillance intrudes on their privacy, creating tension in interpersonal relationships. This study examines the ethical dilemmas faced by parents, especially regarding the supervision of children's digital activities in the digital era. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, through interviews with 50 participants consisting of 30 parents and 20 children, it was found that most parents feel the need to monitor their children's digital activities to protect them from various risks, including cyber bullying and exposure to negative content. The findings of this study emphasise the urgency of improving digital literacy for parents and children, as well as the need to integrate Islamic values in parenting. The principle of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar serves as a guideline in building more open communication, thereby reducing conflict and strengthening mutual trust. In addition, the study revealed challenges in implementing this approach, highlighting the need for support from educational institutions and communities in providing adequate resources for parents. The conclusions of this study emphasise the importance of balancing the protection and respect of children's rights, so that parents can function as advocates for their children's development in the digital age, without neglecting moral and ethical values.
