Abstract

Abstract— In the village of Keras Kulon, Gerih Subdistrict, Ngawi Regency most of the people are farmers. That way most of it is used for processing agricultural land. On the other side of the house, each farmer's family and other families have many courtyards and yards that are quite large and not well-maintained with lots of overgrown plants which originate from planting and as long as they grow by themselves. Therefore, there is still a gap to empower the community, especially for women farmers and female families who are members of the PKK by utilizing existing land in each in the yard or in the yard by cultivating Ginger plants. Ginger cultivation has strategic values both economic and non-economic for the community to provide added value both economically and non-economically as well. Ginger plant cultivation that can easily be done by PKK members on their spare time so that the land in the yard or in the yard of the house will be planted with ginger plants planted on the sidelines and mango plants, jackfruit trees, banana trees and so on. Empowering rural communities through PKK, considering the most active organization in the village for mothers is PKK. This empowerment is to improve environmental awareness based on local potential, and plants according to needs. The community service activities will be held from September to December 2018. At regular PKK meetings scheduled every month in Keras Kulon Village, Gerih District, Ngawi Regency as a community with assistance and assistance methods. Keywords—: Community Empowerment; Environmental Awareness; Local Potential.

Abstract

Abstract— The majority of the people of Jatimulyo Village are involved in agriculture, to broaden their horizons and hone the creativity of the younger generation to be more developed among them by providing skills training in making concrete blocks which can later be used to prepare business for the procurement sector. Besides being able to reduce the unemployment rate, it can also improve the community's economy. Increasingly, development growth in the construction sector tends to increase so that market opportunities for material marketing, especially concrete blocks, will certainly increase. The results obtained by conducting brick building training are to increase the insight and skills of youth youth in making concrete blocks, as well as to improve the welfare of youth youth and village residents in particular. Keywords—: concrete blocks; socialization; material; tools.

Abstract

Nginden Jangungan Village, which is located in Sukolilo sub-district, Surabaya, has an area with low socioeconomic conditions whis is contrast to its surroundings of good private universities, expensive housing area, shopping block2, hotels, luxurious places of worship, and an international hospital. Thus, this area with poor conditions is like a poverty within the metropolitan of Surabaya. For people living in this poor area contrasting condition with its modern surroundings has made them think that they are inferior compared to their superior surroundings. Therefore, as early as possible, the younger generation of this group, must be equiped with proper education making them able and confident that they can be successful in the future. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to provide extra learning activities for children, namely learning assistance for the National Examination subjects, as well as efforts to increase children's self-confidence which is monitored using Behavior Check List (BCL). All of these activities are carried out in a program called Rumah Cerdas Mandiri (RCM) which is located in one of the RW halls in the Nginden Jangkungan Village, Surabaya. The result of this RCM program is that the academic ability of children is improving well although there is some of them that need to be improved. In addition, based on the results of the BCL analysis, it shows that children have self-confidence, courage to express themselves and increased curiosity. These two direct outputs are very important as a trigger for their future success

Abstract

Paguyuban Peternak Ayam Banjarejo as a community service partner faces several problems, such as the lack of resources to prepare financial reports that are in accordance with Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (FAS MSME); the lack of sufficient skills to start systematic financial records using a computer; and the lack of information about the regulations relating to the preparation of financial reports and tax. Therefore, this community service activity is carried out to provide alternative solutions in overcoming obstacles faced by partners. In addition, this activity introduces the use of the simplest technology, like Excel Spreadsheet in preparing financial reports. This community service activity is expected to be an initiation for Partners to apply more sophisticated technology in preparing their financial reports in the future.

Abstract

Legal counseling aims to provide understanding and socialization to the public about the importance of brand protection in the business world. The brand is a sign that is attached to a item / service so that the goods / services are known by the community. Brands can also be used as promotional suggestions to consumers. But in reality there are still many small business actors who do not understand the importance of this brand. Therefore it is necessary to carry out counseling or socialization about the importance of the brand and how to register a brand. The method used is by approaching the community through counseling and socialization. Socialization was carried out in the village of Mojorayung, Wungu District, Madiun Regency, the village, there was a small and medium industrial. The Mojorayung village community is very enthusiastic with the counseling and they will be willing to provide brands to the goods they produce local government assistance.

Abstract

This activity service purposes to provide accounting counseling for cooperatives as well as assistance activities in preparing financial reports at the ABI Makmur Bersama Cooperative in accordance with applicable regulations. This community service method is counseling on accounting materials and assistance in preparing financial reports. The target participants are the ABI Makmur Bersama Cooperative Management. The time for the activity is November 2019 - January 2020. This activity took place at the ABI Makmur Bersama Cooperative, Jalan Manggala Mulya number 65, Rejomulyo Village, Kartoharjo District, Madiun City. After conducting counseling and mentoring, cooperative management 1) understands cooperative accounting and the principles of its preparation. 2) Cooperative management, especially treasurer, can make a cooperative financial report. 3) Cooperative management is able to report the cooperative's financial performance in terms of inventory and sales development.

Abstract

Raising rabbits is one of the main activities of the business group in Tanjungsari Village, Panekan District, Magetan Regency. Raising rabbits provides several advantages, including: 1) feed that is easy to obtain and cheap; 2) easy maintenance method; 3) the number of children produced from the parent is counted. In addition, rabbit urine can be used for liquid organic fertilizer. Rabbit urine as one of the mainstay organic fertilizers for farmer groups in Panekan District, so far the potential of rabbit urine has not been developed optimally. The objectives of this activity are to: (1) utilize waste derived from rabbit urine; (2) improve the management of rabbit breeder groups. The method used is education and facilitation. Education is carried out by: (1) providing counseling to groups of rabbit breeders for the manufacture of organic fertilizer derived from rabbit urine; (2) introduction of fertilizer-making equipment; (3) assistance for training on the use of tools, group motivation, marketing management of organic fertilizer products derived from rabbit urine. Facilitate by providing appropriate tools needed by the group for the manufacture of organic fertilizers. This effort is carried out to utilize waste derived from rabbit urine and increase economic added value for rabbit breeders.

Abstract

The government promotes rural infrastructure development through Village Fund Allocation (ADD). In the process of planning, development and reporting the village government is given the broadest authority. This authority requires the village government to have the ability to prepare a Budget Plan (RAB) and report on the use of funds. The ability of village communities in preparing Budget Plan for the Talud is still minimal and training is needed to improve their abilities. The results of this training are expected to be beneficial for the people of Tladan Village, Kawedanan District, Magetan regency so that the infrastructure development program in the village will run better and achieved good quality.

Abstract

There are several factors that make yard empowerment less attractive to the community, so it is necessary to explore these problems from several aspects. Methods of implementing community service include (a) socialization of yardland empowerment that supports the RPL program and knowing the level of perception of prospective trainees, (b) plant cultivation training, (c) plant cultivation demonstration plots in the yard, and (d) assistance in managing yardland in a manner sustainable. The results of community service activities showed that after participating in the training there was (a) an increase in farming knowledge. (b) increasing the use of yardland by planting food crops, vegetable plants, ornamental plants or medicinal plants in accordance with land ownership (c) periodic assistance to support the sustainability of the yardland empowerment program.

Abstract

Timber Legality Certificate is to meet the requirements of the legality of timber for the forest industry. Application of timber legality verification system allows Indonesia opened wider timber market, especially European market, through the signing of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement (VPA) in September 2013. The forestry industry, timber legality certificate must fulfill in order to be able to do eskport product. Must to get the V-legal documents in any export activity forestry product timber legality certified consequences must be applied to production management system and marketing system. The research objective is to create a system of production information via barcode for small industries that already have a certificate of Timber Legality. The results showed that the ability to prepare the production and marketing of information systems to support the administration of V-legal documents in the export activities for small industries, a serious problem in meeting the document export goods. Therefore, barcode software development program to help solving the problems facing SMEs in the furniture industry and furniture administrating V-legal documents.
