Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the utilization of the historical temple site of Jabung to improve the critical thinking of social science students at the Islamic Institute of Islamic Sciences Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo. The research method used is mixed methods, in which the form of this study combines two approaches namely qualitative and quantitative, this study uses data collection techniques of observation, interviews and tests. The results of data analysis from this study indicate that T count is -9.439 and T table is 1.742 which means that T count is greater than T table (-9.439>1.742) which means that the utilization of the temple history site as a source of learning can improve the critical thinking of IPS students , the results of this study can also be seen from the results of the tests between pretest and posttest, the test results showed that the average score of pretest was 72.00%, while the average score in the post test was 87.05%. The results of the pretest towards posttets increased by 15.05%. Based on the results of the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that in this study the utilization of the historical sites of Candi Jabung as an effective learning resource can improve the critical thinking of social science students.

Abstract

Writing is one of the language skills used to communicate indirectly. Writing skills cannot come automatically without regular practice. Based on observation, writing is a difficult activity for some students. This can be seen in the learning activities of writing observations in class X of Al Fudloli NU high school which is still lacking. The use of the factor tree technique is one technique whose implementation is the same as the spider web technique. The technique is only to write the main ideas or keywords to be developed into written observations in the form of paragraphs. The application of this technique begins with dividing groups, assigning each group to make observations outside the classroom, and developing the results in the classroom. The purpose of this research are: (1) describe the results of writing observations of class X students of Al Fudloli NU High School, (2) describe the application of factor tree learning techniques in writing observations, and (3) describe student learning outcomes in writing observations using factor tree techniques in Indonesian subjects in class X of Al Fudloli NU High School. Based on the results of this class action research it can be concluded: (1) pre-cycle there are 5 students who get grades in accordance with KKM and 15 students get grades below KKM or only 25% are in accordance with KKM and 75% who are under KKM, (2) the application of the factor tree technique that is by looking for the main ideas first then finding derivatives or sub-subjects that are in the shade of the main ideas, then developing the main ideas and sub-topics into sentences and combining them into paragraphs, (3) The results in the first cycle increased in value from 20 students 12 students got grades in accordance with KKM and 8 students were still below KKM. Thus it can be concluded that the writing skills of the results of initial observations of class X students have increased by 35%, initially only 25% of students who were in accordance with KKM. In the first cycle there are 60% of students who are in accordance with KKM, with an average grade of 69.5. The results of the second cycle increased in value from 20 students to 20 students got grades in accordance with KKM. Thus it can be concluded that writing skills from the observations of class X students have increased by 40%, initially only 60% of students were in accordance with KKM on the first cycle, and there were 100% of students who were in accordance with KKM in the second cycle with an average grade 84.25. Thus the application of the factor tree technique can improve writing skills of students' observations.

Abstract

Lingkungan salah satu media belajar siswa sehingga memiliki nilai-nilai berharga dalam proses pendidikan. Lingkungan sebagai sumber pembelajaran siswa dalam belajar dengan mengambil bahan belajar dari lingkungan, maka kecakapan dan kepandaian siswa dapat dipraktikkan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan lingkungan yang ada, seperti yang telah diterapkan di SD Islam Al-Huda Genteng Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Islam Al-Huda Genteng Banyuwangi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul berupa kata-kata dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa ada dua jenis lingkungan yang dapat membentuk pendidikan karakter, yaitu lingkungan alam dan lingkungan sosial. Lingkungan alam digunakan sebagai media pembentuk pendidikan karakter siswa melalui kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler, sedangkan lingkungan sosial melalui kegiatan Kewirausahaan. Perencanaan kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler dilakukan secara bersama dengan seluruh pendidik, sedangkan perencanaan Kewirausahaan dilakukan melalui rapat mingguan bersama guru di sekolah. Hasil pendidikan karakter yang dapat diperoleh dari lingkungan alam melalui kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler adalah disiplin, cinta alam, komunikatif dan bersyukur. Sedangkan pendidikan karakter yang diperoleh dari lingkungan sebagai media melalui kegiatan Kewirausahaan adalah percaya diri, kreatif, dan jujur.

Abstract

Kebutuhan Pedagogik bagi Guru adalah diantaranya Guru bisa memahami karakter siswanya, guru memahami latar belakang siswanya baik dari segi kondisi ekonomi orang tuanya maupun lingkungan, guru bisa memahami dan mampu mendesain dan merencanakan pembelajaran, guru mampu dan mengusai mengajar dengan bermacam-macam model dan metode pembelajaran sehingga cara mengajar tidak monoton, guru mampu sebagai motivator, insprirator dan menjadi guru yang kreatif dan inovatif. Disebut guru yang professional adalah guru yang mempunyai empat komptensi, salah satunya adalah kompetensi pedagogik sehingga kompetensi pedagogik penting dalam penerimaan guru baru. Focus penelitian dalam kompetensi pedagogik ini ditekankan pada: 1) bagaimana kompetensi pedagogic 2) faktor pendukung dan penghambat guru dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran dan 3) bagaimana upaya guru tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif kompetensi pedagogik bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kompetensi Pedagogig Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat, juga mendeskripsikan upaya guru dalam mengatasi suatu hambatan. Berdasarkan data dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi dapat disimpulkan oleh peneliti bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru PAI sudah terlaksana dengan baik.

Abstract

In this research, the researcher applied Small Group Discussion to overcome the problems that were faced by the students. This research was conducted in order to improve students’ reading ability in descriptive text through Small Group Discussion at the seventh grades of MA Al-Hisi Ringinsari Sumbermanjing Wetan 2016-2017. In conducting this research, the researcher used Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the method of research. The researcher conducted this research in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of three meetings. The researcher used Small Group Discussion to create comfortable atmosphere during teaching and learning process of reading, and more importantly to improve the students’ reading ability especially on reading descriptive text. The subject of this research was the students of seventh grade at MA Al-Hisi Ringinsari Sumbermanjing Wetan 2016-2017 on academic year especially VII IPA class. The instruments to collect the data were interview, observation checklist, and reading test. The result of the research showed that by using Small Group Discussion in teaching reading descriptive text. The researcher could improve the student’s reading ability especially descriptive text. Their responses showed that they were interested to learn reading subject because they felt easier to read using Small Group Discussion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka menjawab masalah penelitian, “Bagaimana pemetaan pikiran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas dua MTS Bustanul Ulum Wagir Malang dalam menulis narasi. Strategi ini dipilih karena kekuatannya dalam mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif terlibat dalam proses belajar mengajar dan dalam membantu siswa untuk menghasilkan ide, atau setidaknya untuk memperkuat kemampuan mereka untuk menulis dalam bahasa Inggris Untuk menjawab masalah penelitian, Penelitian Tindakan Kolaboratif dilakukan mengikuti empat tahap, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Siklus pertama terdiri dari tiga pertemuan dan siklus kedua terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas dua tahun 2012-2013 yang terdiri dari 42 siswa. Dalam penelitian ini, siswa ditugaskan untuk membangun teks naratif melalui implementasi pemetaan pikiran. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah lembar observasi, kuesioner dan catatan lapangan.

Abstract

Meskipun semakin banyak bukti tentang efek media sosial pada kesehatan mental remaja, masih ada kelangkaan penelitian empiris tentang bagaimana remaja memandang media sosial, terutama sebagai sumber pengetahuan, atau bagaimana mereka memanfaatkan wacana sosial dan media yang lebih luas untuk mengekspresikan sudut pandang. Karenanya, artikel ini berkontribusi pada literatur yang terbaru. Enam kelompok fokus berlangsung selama 3 bulan dengan 52 remaja berusia 11-18 tahun, direkrut dari sekolah-sekolah di Banyuwangi ,Jawa Timur. Analisis tematik menunjukkan bahwa remaja menganggap media sosial sebagai ancaman terhadap kesejahteraan mental dan tiga tema diidentifikasi: (1) diyakini menyebabkan gangguan mood dan kecemasan bagi beberapa remaja, (2) dipandang sebagai platform untuk cyberbullying dan (3) penggunaan media sosial itu sendiri sering dibingkai sebagai semacam 'kecanduan'

Abstract

Pengaturan diri dalam belajar merupakan upaya yang harus dilakukan seorang pelajar untuk mempermudah dan memperlancar setiap proses belajarnya guna mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Artikel ini membahas tentang pengaturan diri dalam belajar (Self Regulation Learning) pada kalangan mahasiswa. Adapaun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi pengaturan diri dalam belajar mahasiswa melalui metode analisis situasional. Melalui metode ini semua elemen yang mempengaruhi pengaturan diri dalam belajar dapat terpetakan dengan sistematis. Berdasarkan tujuan yang ditetapkan, data diperoleh dari tujuh kelompok pilihan. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 48 peserta mahasiswa. Adapaun temuan utama penelitian ini berupa dua peta situasional, analisis relasional dan posisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kegunaan analisis situasional serta membuktikan bahwa pengaturan diri dalam belajar tidak dapat dipisahkan dari proses kognitif dan metakognitif.

Abstract

In the explanatory text it has a plot or structure like other types of text, such as general statements, cause and effect and interpretation. The explanatory text also has linguistic rules which include copula, active verbs, conjunctions, adverbs of time, scientific terms, pronouns. This research is entitled "Analysis of the Structure and Rules of Explanatory Text in Class XI Students MA Miftahul Ulum Attohirin Academic Year 2019/2020. To find out the problems in conjunction analysis in a collection of explanatory texts in class XI MA Miftahul Ulum Attohirin students, it is necessary to formulate the problem as well as the formulation of the problem, namely, 1) What is the structure of the explanatory text in class XI MA Miftahul Ulum Attohirin Gondanglegi Malang students? 2) What are the rules of language explanation text in class XI MA Miftahul Ulum Attohirin Gondanglegi Malang?. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research type. The qualitative research method is a research method based on the philosophy of postpositivism, this method is used to study natural objects. Where the researcher is the key instrument, the data collection technique is done by triangulation or a combination, the data analysis is inductive/qualitative and the results of qualitative research emphasize the meaning rather than generalization. Based on the data analysis carried out, it was concluded that 8 students were able to determine the structure of the expansion text well. Learners are able to determine the structure of general statements, cause and effect, and interpretation. In the explanatory text linguistic rules, there are 6 out of 11 students who are able to determine the rules of the explanatory text language. Students do not understand the language rules of explanatory text such as copula, conjunction, active verbs, adverbs of time, scientific terms and noun pronouns.

Abstract

Abstract Guidance and counseling should be adjusted to the problems faced by students so that guidance assistance can achieve the right goals and expected goals in the guidance. This research method uses qualitative descriptive research. The aim is to analyze and find the concept of implementation of guidance and counseling as learning motivation. The results of the study that the concept of implementation of guidance and counseling as a form of learning motivation provides facilities and infrastructure as well as experts in the field of guidance and counseling. Types of services in the form of tutoring, career guidance, and case guidance.
