Abstract

Background: The community as recipients of health services certainly wants quality health services. To know the quality or not of a health service can be seen from the waiting time and patient satisfaction which is an indicator of the success of health services. Waiting time has an important role in giving a good first impression to the patient. Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between waiting time and patient satisfaction at the puskesmas. Methods: The study uses a literature review method based on theis based on the PRISMA protocol. The literature reviewed is literature that discusses patient satisfaction based on waiting time for services at the puskesmas. Results: The search results for articles in the Google Scholar and ResearchGate databases show that there are 4 (four) journals that meet the criteria. These four articles have been filtered using keywords, inclusion and exclusion criteria, published between 2018-2021. All articles reviewed are Indonesian language articles with quantitative research types. Conclusions: Based on the 4 (four) journals that have been reviewed, 3 (three) of them show that the length of waiting time for services is related to patient satisfaction at the puskesmas.

Abstract

Background: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus, the virus can spread and enter the human body carried by mosquitoes of the Aedes Aegypti and Aedes Albopictus types. Environmental influences can increase mosquito breeding such as temperature, rainfall, and humidity. Objectives: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus, the virus can spread and enter the human body carried by mosquitoes of the Aedes Aegypti and Aedes Albopictus types. Environmental influences can increase mosquito breeding such as temperature, rainfall, and humidity. Objective: To find out the distribution of dengue cases in urban villages in Madiun City by utilizing spatial analysis. Methods: Quantitative analytic with secondary data analysis approach, the research design used was cross-sectional. This study uses a geographic spatial number approach for the analysis of risk factors for DHF related to DHF cases in Madiun City in 2020. Results: On average, the urban village had a number of cases from 1-7, namely as many as 20 villages, the average population density was in the range of 1775-5633 with 17 villages, the average village that was 16 villages had a 95%-97% free rate value, all villages had rainfall in the 100-300 mm time range, 21 villages had a DHF risk level score of 1- 2 and 6 villages had a score of 2-3. Conclusions: The average urban village in Madiun City has a population density in the low category. There are 7 sub-districts in Madiun City with ABJ scores below 95%. All sub-districts have moderate rainfall, namely 100-300 mm. A high level of dengue risk in an area does not necessarily indicate that dengue cases in that area are high. Prevention of dengue fever can be done to reduce the increase in cases.

Abstract

Background: Stunting can occur due to several factors, one of which is not fulfilling the basic needs of toddlers (stimulation, love, and care). In addition to care pattern related to feeding, stimulation and love patterns to toddlers are sometimes not well noticed by parents. Good stimulation and love patterns will later reduce the risk of nutritional problems, including stunting. Objectives: This study aims to analyze the correlation between the pattern of stimulation and love given by mothers to children with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the Mulyorejo village, Surabaya. Methods: This study used a cross sectional design with a sample of 72 children under five obtained by simple random sampling. Data retrieval comes from primary sources with interview methods using questionnaires and direct measurements. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Spearman correlation test Results: As a result, most of the stimulation and love patterns from mothers were in the good category and based on the analysis there was no significant relationship between the stimulation pattern (p=0.397) and love pattern (p=0.112) with the incidence of stunting. Conclusions: The stimulation and love patterns from mothers have no significant relationship with the incidence of stunting. Even thought, the role of parents, especially mothers, is expected to be able to provide basic needs related to a balanced pattern of stimulation and love in supporting the development and growth of children optimally.

Abstract

Background: Sophisticated technology provides many conveniences for humans, as well as education that cannot be separated from it, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic in which the learning methods are carried out online. This is what causes the intensity of using a computer or laptop to increase so that it can trigger the occurrence of visual impairment, namely Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). There is no definite data regarding CVS and CVS research on university students, especially in Surabaya, is still very small. Objectives: This study aims to analyze the risk factors for CVS among college students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This research was analytic observational research with a cross-sectional research design. This research was conducted from December 2020 to June 2021. The sampling method used was a systematic random sampling addressed to 249 Public Health undergraduate students from the second, fourth, and sixth semesters. The instrument used was CVS-Q with additional questions related to respondent identity, medical history, and computer-usage behavior. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by calculating the Odds Ratio (OR) with a 95% confidence interval (CI). Results: Gender (OR = 2.54) and a history of eye disorders (OR = 4.01) were risk factors for Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) in S1 Public Health Science students. Conclusions: This research shows that the risk factors for CVS are gender and a history of eye disorders. The students who use computers with high intensity should take CVS precautions, such as applying the 20-20-20 rule, using anti-radiation glasses, adjusting the brightness of the computer screen, adding an anti-glare on the computer screen, avoiding working in a dark room, and performing an ergonomic body position when using a computer.

Abstract

Background: Obesity is a nutritional problem due to an imbalance in nutrient intake with nutrition needs. Many factors can influence the development of obesity, such as eating behavior and wrong eating patterns. Final year students are included in the group of early adults who are prone to experiencing academic stress which can affect their eating behavior and eating patterns. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between emotional eating and eating patterns with obesity in final year students at the Faculty of Public Health Universitas Airlangga in 2022. Methods: Case-control research design was used in the study, with a sample of 19 students in the overweight and obesity group and 19 students in the non-obese group. Samples were obtained by using a simple random sampling method. Online interviews were used as a data collection method with Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire (DEBQ) and Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ). Data were analyzed by Chi-Square statistical test. Results: The result of this study showed that there was no statistically significant relationship between emotional eating with obesity (p=0,501) and there was a statistically significant relationship between food consumption patterns with obesity (p=0,022) with OR value = 4,8, which means that students who predominantly consume obesogenic foods have a 4,8 times greater risk of obesity when compared to students who predominantly consume vegetables and fruit. Conclusions: The food consumption pattern has a significant relationship with obesity. Students should reduce their intake of obesogenic foods and increase their fiber intake, namely vegetables and fruit so as to reduce the risk of obesity.
