Abstract

This research aims to develop an interactive e-book for the course "Understanding Learners and Their Learning" with a collaborative learning approach based on cloud computing technology for students in the Pre-Service Teacher Professional Program (PPG) Prajabatan. The research method used is developmental research consisting of three stages: preliminary research, prototype stage, and assessment stage, with a focus on the utilization of cloud computing technology. Data were collected through questionnaires, validity tests, and the effectiveness of the interactive e-book developed through stages designed according to the Akker model. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively and qualitatively. Formative evaluation was carried out to determine the validity, practicality, and potential effects of the product. The validity of the developed e-book reached a score of 3.55 (very high validity) after evaluation by experts in the context of learning design, media, and content. The practicality of the e-book was rated high in one-on-one evaluation (score 3.625) and very high in small group evaluation (score 3.85). Field tests showed an effectiveness rate of 94.4%, indicating that the interactive e-book has high potential effects. This e-book can be implemented effectively for Prajabatan PPG students as a reference source supporting the understanding of learners and learning through a collaborative approach based on cloud computing technology.

Abstract

Students play an important role in evaluating the success and validity of a study program in a higher education environment. The success of a higher education institution can be measured by the achievements achieved by its graduates. Students who pursue a Bachelor (S1) program are considered to graduate on time if they successfully complete their studies in four years or less. Internal and external factors, as well as the quality of academic service, are factors that can affect student graduation on time. This research aims to find out how STAI Miftahul Huda Subang alumni, especially those who take the Study Program (S1) Islamic Religious Education (PAI), see academic guidance services to improve the quality of graduates. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach and uses survey methods. Data is collected through observations, interviews, lifts, and documentation. The results of this study show that the quality of academic service at STAI Miftahul Huda Subang is already good in terms of student perception. In order to improve the quality of academic services, STAI Miftahul Huda Subang needs to improve educational facilities and the discipline of lecturers in teaching. In addition, Stai Miftahul Huda Subang also needs to cooperate with the insurance authorities to guarantee the safety and comfort of students during the course.

Abstract

The abundance of differences often makes them feel like outsiders. The environment around the child will greatly influence the child's social sensitivity. Inclusive schools are a means of increasing children's social sensitivity because they include children with special needs who can practice caring for others. However, The existence of inclusive school programs is often considered a hindrance because when children with disabilities are placed in the same educational environment as their typically developing peers, they may feel uncomfortable and are sometimes underestimated. This research aims to analyze and describe social sensitivity in children towards conditions different from their own while studying at the same school, namely SD Muhammadiyah 1 GKB.This study focuses on the social sensitivity of elementary school students. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive method. Secondary data is used to collect research data, employing observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The results of this study indicate that inclusive education provides various benefits, one of which is the emergence of social sensitivity in children such as a sense of empathy, sympathy, help and respect for differences.

Abstract

Problems related to the use of teaching materials in mathematics learning are still found in grade 2 students at SD Inpres 16 Kabupaten Sorong. These problems result in students getting bored and having difficulty understanding mathematical concepts. Using posters and teaching aids is a solution in overcoming problems that occur in mathematics learning. The aim of this research is to determine the use of poster teaching materials and teaching aids in improving student learning outcomes in the subject matter of clockwork reading. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research by applying pretest and posttest to measure the success of using teaching materials. The results of the research show that the use of teaching aids and posters as teaching materials for mathematics learning, clockwork reading materials, can improve learning outcomes, with an average percentage increase of 25%, with an average value of 81.7. Based on this research, it can be concluded that teaching aids and posters can improve the learning outcomes of grade 2 students at SD Inpres 16, Sorong Regency.

Abstract

In understanding learning, interest is needed as the main factor, while to foster interest, appropriate and effective learning methods are needed, in which case the multiple intelligence-based experiential learning model is expected to be a solution. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of multiple intelligence-based experiential learning to increase MI students' learning interest. This research method is quantitative with the type of experimental study, the number of participants is 25 people who are MI students in Kab. Jember, data collection was carried out using a questionnaire technique with pre, experimental and post procedures, while for the analysis test using a paired T-Test. Based on the research conducted, it was found that multiple intelligence-based experiential learning can significantly increase MI students' interest in learning. By carrying out this research, it is expected that MI teachers can apply this learning method so that students' interest in learning increases and results in achievement in the end.

Abstract

Teacher competence in developing learning module in the current implementation of the Independent Curriculum is very important because learning module determines the learning quality in the classroom. This School Action Research aimed to increase the competency of teachers at Kalam Kudus Christian Junior High School in developing learning module using Mentoring Method and TIRTa Model Coaching Methods, with three recipients who were teaching in grades VII and VIII. The researcher used learning modules as the assessed product and observed the teachers’ competence from both pedagogical and professional aspects. The result was very encouraging because it was found that: (1) the subjects got better understanding of the components in the learning module according to its standards; (2) the subjects were able to compose better quality of learning module; (3) the subjects’ pedagogical and professional competence increased; (4) The TIRTa model was very effective for mentoring and coaching since it built the subjects’ awareness of setting goals, identifying strengths and weaknesses, making action plans, and taking responsibility for their plans. This success was shown in the result that the competence of three subjects in the pre-cycle belonged to poor category (< 71), but of cycle I the two subjects got poor category and the other one got average category, and at the end of cycle II all of the subjects changed to good (81 -90).

Abstract

The objective of this study is to create and assess the effectiveness of the STM32-based line follower robot trainer as an educational resource for instructing the Robotics Control System course in the Industrial Electronics Engineering Program at Vocational High Schools in Sampang District. The research technique adheres to the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model, which was originally proposed by Robert Maribe Branch. The Analyze phase requires an instructional instrument that is capable of improving pupils' academic performance. The Design phase focuses on developing electronic components (controllers, sensors, and actuator drivers) that are appropriate for Vocational High Schools in Sampang District. During the Development stage, the researcher use the waterfall development approach to precisely define components, create mechanical designs, write software code, and conduct testing for the line follower robot system. The Implementation phase involves assessing the practicality with media specialists and actively involving 12th-grade students who are currently enrolled in the Industrial Electronics Engineering Program at Vocational High Schools in Sampang District. The Evaluation phase utilizes a Likert scale questionnaire that presents four options to measure respondents' perceptions of the STM32-based line follower robot trainer. The suitability of the STM32-based line follower robot trainer as a teaching tool was assessed based on two factors: (1) The media quality obtained a mean score of 22.34, signifying "achievable." The material quality achieved a mean score of 28.51, which was also classified as "feasible." Hence, the STM32-based line follower robot trainer is deemed suitable for instructing the subject of Robotics Control System. Both initial and conclusive tests demonstrated a significant 76.8% improvement in students' learning results after their involvement in the STM32-based line follower robot trainer program at Vocational High Schools in Sampang District.

Abstract

The ability to read and write is a basic ability that students must have in order to be able to receive and understand knowledge. Without reading, students will experience several obstacles in the learning process. The aim of this research is to find the causes of delays in reading and writing which are reviewed using behavioristic learning theory. The research carried out was descriptive qualitative research using a literature study method. The causes found were (1) lack of student response to learning to read; (2) lack of teacher role and stimulus in providing motivation; (3) lack of teaching materials provided using appropriate methods according to needs (4) lack of learning support or stimulus from the family. The solutions that can be provided are (1) accuracy in selecting and using media and learning methods; (2) invite parents to work together in providing support and training at home; (3) providing a stimulus to increase motivation in students as the key to successful learning. Therefore, with the existence of behavioristic learning theory which focuses on stimulus and response, we can find out the causes of delays in reading and writing because with this learning theory we can find out the causes and effects of every change in behavior.

Abstract

The factors causing the low quality of education in Indonesia are largely attributed to the disproportionate role given to schools, the lack of adequate learning planning, the implementation of learning that is not optimal, the ineffective management of the curriculum system, and the application of learning outcome measurements that focus on cognitive aspects. This study aims to describe the implementation of project-based learning in supporting the achievement of curriculum objectives in the Pancasila profile strengthening project at Samirono State Elementary School, Yogyakarta Special Region. The approach in this research uses qualitative with case study method. The data sources in this research are primary data and secondary data using observation, interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. The technique to ensure data validity is using data triangulation. While the data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which goes through three stages, namely data collection, data reduction and data presentation. The result of this study is the implementation of project-based learning is an appropriate learning model to achieve curriculum objectives related to the development of potential and the development of Pancasila student profiles.

Abstract

Dance art demands practice from students, but all this time teachers do not present dance art lessons by giving examples but only using the guides contained in the book package so students have difficulty in developing dance talent. The aim of this study is to enhance the creativity of students in various aspects of dance art learning. In order to this goal, the author used the integrated Think Pair Share method of TRI NGA. Based on the results of the study, 65% of first-class students entered the category that meets the standards, while the other 35% have already exceeded the standard, with an average value of improvement in creativity reaching 84. According to the research results the method used has been stated successfully improved the creativity of dance art students in 1st grade in SD Negeri Kecis.
