Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi pada bidang pendidikan memberikan dorongan untuk memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Salah satu instansi pendidikan atau lebih tepatnya sekolah yang diharapkan mampu menerapkan media pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar adalah SMP Sunan Ampel Poncokusumo karena saat ini masih lebih sering menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Kebiasaan dalam menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional menghasilkan pembelajaran yang tidak menarik dan juga membuat capaian pembelajaran yang dinilai menggunakan tes menjadi rendah pada pembelajaran IPS kelas VII materi Sosialisasi Dalam Masyarakat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut peneliti mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran berbasis game Wordwall untuk meningkatkan capaian belajar yang didapatkan oleh peserta didik. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation). Subyek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah 27 peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Sunan Ampel Poncokusuman pada materi Sosialisasi dalam Masyarakat di mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa merasa puas dengan kemudahan penggunaan (56,33%), operasional (85%), dan efektivitas (80%) Wordwall. Selain itu, mereka merasa nyaman (93,33%), tertarik (84,84%), dan melihat peningkatan nilai tes secara keseluruhan. Peneliti menemukan bahwa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif Wordwall capaian belajar dan ketertarikan peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran meningkat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Paciran dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal tipe PISA jika ditinjau dari perbedaan gaya belajarnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan mengacu empat indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu Interpretasi, Analisis, Evaluasi, dan Inferensi. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX A dan IX B laki-laki sebanyak 4 orang yang memiliki gaya belajar berbeda-beda. Gaya belajar tersebut diantaranya visual, auditori, read/write, dan kinestetik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner gaya belajar dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang diadaptasi dari soal tipe PISA. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dengan gaya belajar visual tidak menuliskan pengerjaan dan jawaban secara rinci. Peserta didik dengan gaya belajar auditori lebih mudah menjelaskan pengerjaan dan jawaban secara lisan. Peserta didik dengan gaya belajar read/write menuliskan pengerjaan dan jawaban secara rinci walaupun perlu membaca soal lebih dari 1 kali untuk memahami. Peserta didik dengan gaya belajar kinestetik kurang memahami soal dan lebih banyak melakukan gerakan fisik pada saat diwawancara oleh peneliti.

Abstract

The ability to write poetry is an important skill for students to develop creativity, imagination and critical thinking abilities. However, based on observations at the research location, it shows that students' ability to write poetry is still low. This can be seen from the results of poetry that is less creative and imaginative. This research aims to improve students' ability to write poetry texts through the application of a constructivist approach. This approach emphasizes the activeness and involvement of students in building their knowledge through experience and interaction with their environment. The subjects of this research were 11 students in class X SMA Sawerigading Makassar. The instruments used by researchers were test sheets and observation sheets. Then the data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis to obtain average information and percentage of learning completeness. The results of the study in the first cycle of students who completed were only 3 or 27.27% and this increased to 11 students or 100% who completed in cycle II. In cycle I the average score of students was only 67.27, increasing to 80.90 in cycle II. The highest score in cycle I was only 80, increasing to 90 in cycle II and the lowest score in cycle I was 55, increasing to 75 in cycle II. Based on these results, it can be stated that the constructivist approach can be an effective learning alternative to improve students' ability to write poetry texts.

Abstract

Learning literature, especially writing short stories, should take as much time as possible because students can immediately feel the function of literature, especially short stories. Therefore, the approach to teaching literature, and especially short stories, needs to be creative rather than rote. It should inspire students to write, reflect, and experience problems in the light of short story principles. The aim of the research is to determine the improvement in short story writing skills of class IX students by using a problem-based approach (Problem Based Learning). This research method uses experiments, with two data collection methods, namely test and non-test techniques. Using the PBL methodology, the written test form is filled in by completing a short story writing practice exam. Meanwhile, observation sheets, teacher and student notebooks, interview sheets, and video recordings were used to collect non-test data. Based on the results of this research, it is understood that before treatment (without the PBL learning paradigm), the students' average score was 48.16 with a standard deviation of 7.00. There are 8 students in the sufficient group, or 26.66%, 20 students in the poor category, or 66.66%, and 2 students in the very poor category, or 6.66%. The average post-test score was 78, with a standard deviation of 7.48. Nine students, or 30%, were in the very good group, 18 students, or 60%, were in the good category, and 3 students, or 10%, were in the fair category.

Abstract

Often Guidance and Counseling teachers do not carry out systematic reporting regarding Guidance and Counseling implementation programs. This is because Guidancenand Counseling teachers donnot understand the systematics and reporting structure of the Guidance and Counseling program asnstated in the 2016 POP BK. The aim of this research is to preparing Guidance and Counseling program reports as a form of accountability and professionalismnof Guidance and Counselingnteachers and to encourage optimal evaluations follow-up. Thisnresearch uses a literature review method, namely focusing on the analysis and synthesis of relevant literature to answer research questions, test hypotheses, or develop a theory that involves selecting various sources of information, suchnas books, journals, articles, research reports, and other sources. Basednon the resultsnof the literaturenreview, it isnknown that Guidance and Counseling teachers find it difficult when they have to make reports on thenimplementation of the Guidance andnCounseling program and that there are no rules or policies for school management and quality assurance regarding the implementationnof the Guidance and Counseling program. Discussion of the systematics and reporting structure of the Guidance and Counseling program is expected tonbe able tonincrease the accountability and professionalism of Guidance and Counseling teachers so that optimal evaluation and further follow-up of the Guidancenand Counseling program can be achieved.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how families in Dusun Pablengan Kulon perceive the urgency of Islamic religious education for children. Apart from that, to find out what efforts families in Dusun Pablengan Kulon have made to obtain Islamic religious education for their children. The research methodology used is field study, namely data collection in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The source of research data is the community in Dusun Pablengan Kulon, Krikilan, Kalijambe, Sragen, Central Java. This hamlet was chosen because it is a model hamlet in other Krikilan Villages. The results of the research show that families in Dusun Pablengan Kulon already understand the urgency of Islamic religious education for children. The results of the second research show that the efforts of families in Dusun Pablengan Kulon to address the urgency of Islamic religious education for children is by providing Islamic religious education at home, providing encouragement to enroll their children in non-formal religious education, namely the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ), and for parents who have full awareness of Islamic religious education and are supported by a stable economy, this will give their children the opportunity to study in an Islamic-based school.

Abstract

Many students, particularly those who are studying English as a foreign language (EFL), face a considerable difficulty in achieving a high level of speaking proficiency. The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of digital storytelling on improving English speaking proficiency.This study utilised a pre-test-posttest group design. The study's demographic and sample comprise 80 students from Class XI IPA in the academic year 2023/2024. The researcher utilised the snowball sampling approach to determine the necessary sample size. Before administering the before and post tests, the researcher evaluated the validity and reliability of the instrument using SPSS. This was accomplished by analysing the scores on the corrected item total correlation, which quantifies the relationship between item scores and the overall item score. The pupils were assigned the labels Group A (experimental) and Group B (control). Afterwards, pupils participate in a Pretest to determine any differences among them. The researcher offered digital storytelling to both groups, but only the experimental group utilised it, while the control group did not. The experimental group will be subjected to a treatment that involves the utilisation of digital storytelling. The T test was utilised as the technique for data analysis. The results showed that the calculated T value was 7.313, and the significance value was below 0.05. Thus, it can be inferred that the use of digital storytelling allows students to improve their English speaking skills. This research is important because it can improve the process of acquiring the English language, namely by emphasising the importance of teachers in teaching digital storytelling during English language learning.

Abstract

History learning materials to develop historical awareness can be obtained from utilizing various existing learning resources, one of which is the use of the Mataholang Bandung Community which is based on public history. The aim of this research is to determine the dynamics of the Mataholang Bandung Community and its use as a learning resource to develop historical awareness based on public history. This research approach is qualitative with a case study method. The data collection techniques used in this research were participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The research location is the community secretariat at Karees Village, Bandung City with the research subjects being coordinators, administrators/members, and community advisors. The results of this research are that the Mataholang Bandung Community can be used as a historical learning resource to develop historical awareness based on public history. The conclusion of the research is that the Mataholang Bandung Community raises historical material that is not even known to the public so that it can increase historical insight and this community helps diversify historical learning sources through the activities it holds so that the material in these activities can be used to enrich history learning in schools.. The research suggestion is that the Mataholang Bandung Community can collaborate officially with the Bandung City Government, Bandung City Education Office, Bandung City Culture & Tourism Office, and schools in Bandung City area and surroundings to diversify local historical material in Bandung City and surroundings so that it can be used as a source for learning history and as material for developing historical activities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce the development of learning media in the form of an interactive flipbook, namely the "Rahayuning Bawana" media in order to improve students' motor skills in dance learning in elementary school extracurriculars. This research uses the research and development (RnD) method, and the model used is ADDIE, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, implementation, development, and evaluation (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The media "Rahayuning Bawana" has been validated by material experts and media experts. Material expert validation received a score of 93% and was categorized as very suitable for use. Meanwhile, media expert validation received a score of 87% and was categorized as very suitable for use as well. The subjects of this research involved extracurricular dance students at SDN Tanjungsari II and SDN Cileutik. Student responses to the media "Rahayuning Bawana" reached an average of 93%, with very good qualifications. The average pretest result was 34 and the average posttest result was 88.4 with an increase in n-gain of 0.82. Therefore, it can be concluded that the existence of the "Rahayuning Bawana" media is very feasible and effective for use in dance learning to improve students' motor skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dampak Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas lima yang mempelajari Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Pendekatan studi ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen. Peserta penelitian adalah siswa kelas empat di SDN Duren Jaya XII yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan Equalsize Cluster Random Sampling. Model TPS digunakan untuk memperlakukan kelompok eksperimen, sementara model tradisional digunakan untuk kelompok kontrol. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan enam aspek yang dijelaskan oleh Robert H. Ennis yang meliputi tinjauan, alasan, kejelasan, situasi, konsentrasi, dan kesimpulan. Studi ini mengungkapkan bahwa murid yang diajar menggunakan Model TPS menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode tradisional. Dapat dilihat dari Uji-t independen menghasilkan nilai t yakni 2,084 serta nilai Sig. (2-tailed) memperoleh 0,04. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa teknik pembelajaran TPS dapat melatih kapasitas berpikir kritis siswa pada disiplin IPAS. Dengan demikian, penggunaan TPS sebagai strategi pengajaran alternatif dapat berguna untuk abad 21.
