Abstract

Teachers need to strive for innovation in creating new media so that the learning of Natural Sciences becomes easier for students. The purpose of this research is to describe the characteristics, validity, and effectiveness of SIRAJA in enhancing critical thinking skills. This research is a type of developmental research. The researcher used various methods to collect data, including interviews, questionnaires, observations, documentation, and tests. The researcher used a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The data obtained was then tested for effectiveness, normality, and the increase in critical thinking scores from the pretest and posttest based on the Hake gain. Meanwhile, the responses from the student and teacher questionnaires were evaluated using a Likert scale. The analysis of the learning outcomes of the respondents, who were the subjects of the study, showed that the pretest score of 59 increased to 77 on the posttest. The percentage of learning mastery also significantly increased, from 20% on the pretest to 85% on the posttest. The normality test used was the one-sample Shapiro-Wilk test, which found an asymptotic significance value of 0.388 for the pretest and 0.616 for the posttest, exceeding the significance level of 0.05. Therefore, the researcher concluded that the utilization of SIRAJA positively impacts the critical thinking of fifth-grade students.

Abstract

Self-confidence is something that cannot be doubted because it is important for a person, with self-confidence one will feel comfortable with one's abilities, which can be seen from a high level of courage, social skills, responsibility and self-esteem. One way to increase self-confidence is through extracurricular muhadhoroh. The aim of this research is to find out how the muhadhoroh and muhadhoroh training process increases students' self-confidence. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, the research subjects are 4 ustad/ustadzah supervisors, the research informants are 5 class VII students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The data validation technique uses source triangulation. Data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the muhadhoroh training process includes script creation, manuscript collection, manuscript proofreading, and speech practice training (training in mastering the material, eliminating nervousness, clear word pronunciation, and use of body language). The public speaking training has produced a significant impact on students at SMPIT Hasanka Palangka Raya, such as being able to be calm when speaking in public, being able to control the audience and being brave in expressing their opinions.

Abstract

This research aims to examine various literature regarding the role of evaluation of guidance and counseling. This research uses library research by searching for various relevant references (as books, journals, papers and research) related to the role of evaluating guidance and counseling in schools. The data analysis uses content analysis, namely analyzing the content of each reference obtained. The results of this research indicate that evaluation of guidance and counseling needs to be carried out as part of the professional competence of guidance and counseling teachers. Then, an evaluation is carried out in an effort to control the guidance and counseling program, and this becomes the basis for preparing the report and becomes an important note for decision making in preparing future guidance and counseling programs. This research provides a new perspective and is the basis for implementing optimal guidance and counseling evaluations in schools.

Abstract

The low pedagogical competence of teachers is the basis for this research. Efforts to improve this use the school learning community program. Research objectives: (1) describe the management of the school learning community program, (2) determine the relationship and influence of the school learning community program on pedagogical competence, (3) determine the magnitude of the increase in pedagogical competence, and (4) describe the achievement categories of the school learning community and pedagogical competence . The research was carried out from 20 to 27 April 2024 at SMP Negeri 2 Pengadegan. Qualitative and quantitative research methods were used in this research. Data collection techniques: questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Qualitative data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman Model. Quantitative data was analyzed using tests: normality, homogeneity, product moment correlation and linear regression. Research conclusions: (1) the learning community program has been well managed through activities a) planning: team formation, goal setting, commitment making, and socialization, b) organizing: issuing a decision letter, c) implementation: delivering material and concrete PMM actions, and d) supervision: questionnaires, Google forms, and direct reflection, (2) there is a strong relationship and significant influence between the school learning community and pedagogical competence, with a correlation coefficient of 0.7274 and a determination coefficient of 52.92%, (3) Teacher pedagogical competence increased from 69.69 to 88.22, and (4) Achievement of the school learning community was in the low to very high category, while pedagogical competence was in the low to high category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of using simile language styles in Sobirin Zaini's collection of poetry ballads of twilight people. The aim of this research is to describe, analyze and interpret the ballad poetry of the twilight people by Sobirin Zaini. The method in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data source in this research is a collection of poetry ballads of twilight people by Sobirin Zaini. The data collection technique used in this research is using hermeneutic techniques consisting of reading, taking notes, and concluding. With the data analysis steps as follows: 1. Classifying the data according to the research problem, 2. Analyzing the data, 3. Interpreting the results of research on language styles put forward by Henry Guntur Tarigan in (2013). After analyzing the data, it was found that the results of research on simile language style in the collection of ballad poetry of people at dusk by Sobirin Zaini, that in the collection of poetry the quality of poetry is illustrated from the aspect of simile language style and 18 simile data were found in 18 poems in the Poetry Collection of People's Ballads. -The Twilight People by Sobirin Zaini. The similes that are dominantly used are similes like. The least used similes are as and as, the unused similes are similes like, like, like, for example, penaka, similar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of the PjBL paradigm on student collaboration. This study employs a quantitative approach using the kind of study design that just uses a posttest control group. The instruments used in this study are the angket and lembar observation instruments. The sample selection technique used in this study is the jenuh sample since all of the population was designated as the study sample. The sample for this study is all students in class 5 SDN 2 Tawangbanteng for experiential learning and all students in class 5 SDN 1 Sukaratu for control. Data analysis is conducted using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The independent sample test, homogeneity test, and normality test comprise the inferential statistical test. Subsequently, to reduce some significant effects, use effect size in conjunction with Cohen's law. Based on the results of the deskriptif statistical analysis, 15 students with highly collaborative criteria were evaluated in the experimental class, while 9 students in the control group were evaluated with collaborative criteria. The results of the inferential statistical test show that Ho is not supported by H1, with a sig value of 0,003<0,05. There are differences in the collaborative learning outcomes between students using the PjBL model and students using the conventional model. Based on the uji impact size results, the category sedang has a nilai of 0.79. Due to this, it can be inferred that the PjBL model has an adverse effect on student collaboration in IPA classes in grade 5.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of AI chatbot as a learning aid in accounting subjects at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. With a background to the need for learning innovations that can meet the expectations of the digital generation and improve learning effectiveness, the study examines the potential and challenges of the application of AI chatbots. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, the research gathers data from students, teachers, and school managers to understand the perceptions, efficiency, and obstacles in the use of AI Chatbots in accounting learning. Research results show that the use of AI chatbots can enhance learning interaction, provide real-time feedback, and tailor learning materials to suit the individual needs of students. However, challenges such as the constraints of AI's understanding of specific contexts, the need for personal interaction, as well as issues of data security and privacy are concerns to be addressed. The research also found that the training and adaptation of teachers is an important aspect of the integration of this technology into the learning process.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that students have not been able to explain the human respiratory process studied with their own understanding, students feel learning is not fun because of the lack of good supporting media. So, the aim of this research is to obtain an overview of the influence of using the Board Game "Snakes and Ladders" on students' conceptual understanding of the human respiratory system material. The research method used was pre-experiment with a One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The research results obtained were then analyzed using the N-gain test and Paired Sample-T-Test. The results of the research show an increase in the average posttest score after implementing the "Snakes and Ladders" media Board Game support by 31%, with a pretest average of 53 and a posttest score of 84. Paired Sample t-Test analysis also shows a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The level of effectiveness is verified through the N-Gain test at 68% which places it in the quite effective category. Based on this explanation, it can be concluded that through the use of the Board Game "Snakes and Ladders" learning media, this research recorded a positive impact on class V students' conceptual understanding of the human respiratory system material.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the relationship between language attitudes, learning motivation, and Indonesian language achievement of class X students at SMA Negeri 15 Makassar. The population of this study was 290 students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences and the sample was determined to be 75 people. The research instrument in the form of a questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability. This type of research is ex post facto using a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used is linear regression analysis. The results of the research stated that if the Indonesian language learning achievement in the complete category was 30 students (40%) and in the incomplete category there were 45 students (60%), language attitudes were in the very good category of 20 (26.667%), the good category was 9 (12 %), the poor category is 40 (53.333%), and the very poor category is 6 (8%) so that there is a positive and significant influence between language attitudes and language learning motivation on the Indonesian language learning achievement of class X SMA Negeri 15 Makassar. This means that the more positive the students' language attitudes and language learning motivation, the higher their Indonesian language learning achievement. The conclusion of this research is that the motivation variable for learning Indonesian is in the low category at 48%. So this research shows that language attitudes and language learning motivation are important factors that can develop students' Indonesian language learning achievements. This research has the prospect of further research using different research methods. Apart from that, this research can also be carried out at different educational levels or other subjects.

Abstract

Prophetic-based character education should be implemented to students. This is because by applying this, the demoralization of students' character can be prevented as seen from previous research results and discussions covering topics such as prophetic pedagogy addressing character decadence, prophetic pedagogical values in Islamic religious education, and strengthening the orientation of Islamic religious identity in prophetic pedagogy. This study uses a qualitative method of literature study (library research) in collecting its data. The literature study conducted is elaborating data and information obtained from books, journals, news, and other credible references related to the discussed topics or issues raised to strengthen the data and information being examined. The results of this study indicate that character education based on prophetic pedagogy is able to overcome student demoralization by considering prophetic pedagogical values such as humanization, liberation, and transcendence which are in line with Islamic religious education that makes the behavior of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a reference in daily life behavior.
