Abstract

Model pembelajaran project based learning atau pembelajaran berbasis proyek adalah model pembelajaran yang menggunakan proyek atau kegiatan nyata sebagai inti pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA 11 Palembang. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan dokumentasi, observasi keaktifan siswa dan tes belajar mengunakan metode eksperimen jenis True Eksperimental Desing dengan bentuk Postest-Only Control Group Design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan dari pengujian hipotesis peneliti mengunkan uji t independent t-test berbantu software SPSS 26 dengan nilai sig.0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) dengan nilai Berdasarkan uji independent t-test diperoleh bahwa nilai t-hitung 4.818 t-tabel 1.993. karena t hitung > t tabel maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of watching movies as a method to improve students' listening comprehension at SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The research aimed to explore whether incorporating movies into English language teaching can enhance students' ability to understand spoken English in various contexts. The study employed a quasi-experimental design, involving two groups of students: an experimental group, which was exposed to movie-based listening activities, and a control group, which followed traditional listening exercises. Pre- and post-tests were administered to assess the students' listening comprehension skills. The findings revealed that the experimental group showed significant improvement in their listening comprehension compared to the control group, suggesting that watching movies can be an effective strategy in enhancing students' listening skills. This research contributes to the ongoing exploration of innovative methods in language teaching, offering insights into the potential benefits of integrating multimedia resources in the classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menentukan pengembangan perpustakaan unggul di sekolah dasar (SD) se-Kota Pekanbaru. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas dan pengelolaan perpustakaan di tingkat SD, serta bagaimana faktor-faktor tersebut dapat berkontribusi dalam menciptakan perpustakaan yang mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei, yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, pustakawan, dan guru sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor utama yang mempengaruhi pengembangan perpustakaan unggul meliputi kualitas sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, dukungan dari pihak sekolah dan pemerintah, serta minat baca siswa. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya peningkatan pelatihan bagi pustakawan, pengadaan koleksi buku yang relevan, serta optimalisasi peran perpustakaan sebagai pusat sumber belajar di sekolah dasar. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam perencanaan dan pengembangan perpustakaan yang lebih efektif di SD se-Kota Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kemampuan pemahaman teks bahasa Inggris antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan kelas dua di sekolah menengah pertama. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan pemahaman teks antara kedua kelompok tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 100 siswa yang dipilih secara acak, yang terdiri dari 50 siswa laki-laki dan 50 siswa perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pemahaman membaca yang dirancang untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa dalam memahami teks bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan pemahaman teks bahasa Inggris siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Meskipun demikian, terdapat perbedaan kecil dalam beberapa aspek, seperti kecepatan dalam menjawab pertanyaan, yang cenderung lebih tinggi pada siswa perempuan. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan tentang pengajaran bahasa Inggris yang lebih inklusif, tanpa mengedepankan stereotip gender dalam kemampuan akademik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penerapan proyek berbasis tim dalam mata kuliah Media Pembelajaran di Program Studi Bahasa Inggris. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana mahasiswa merespons penggunaan metode proyek berbasis tim dalam pembelajaran serta dampaknya terhadap pemahaman mereka terhadap materi dan keterampilan kolaborasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode survei, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara terbuka dengan 50 mahasiswa yang terdaftar dalam mata kuliah Media Pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki pandangan positif terhadap penerapan proyek berbasis tim, dengan manfaat yang dirasakan berupa peningkatan keterampilan kolaborasi, pemecahan masalah, dan pemahaman konsep media pembelajaran. Meskipun demikian, beberapa mahasiswa mengungkapkan tantangan terkait pembagian tugas yang tidak merata dan perbedaan tingkat partisipasi antar anggota tim. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi pengembangan strategi pengajaran yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran kolaboratif di Program Studi Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

This study analyzes the use of figurative language in beauty advertisements found in English magazines. The primary objective is to identify and interpret the types of figurative expressions employed in these advertisements and explore their effect on consumer perception and behavior. The research focuses on examining various figurative devices such as metaphors, similes, personification, hyperbole, and symbolism, and how these devices are used to enhance the appeal and persuasive power of beauty products. By analyzing a selection of advertisements from popular English magazines, the study demonstrates how figurative language is strategically utilized to create emotional appeal, shape brand identity, and influence purchasing decisions. The findings indicate that figurative language plays a crucial role in enhancing the emotional connection between consumers and beauty products, thereby contributing significantly to the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. This analysis highlights the importance of linguistic creativity in advertising, particularly in the beauty industry, where image and perception are central to marketing strategies.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan adanya pembelajaran di kelas yang masih monoton dan model pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi sehingga hasil belajar siswa masih rendah.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji adakah pengaruh model pembelajaran savi (somatic, auditory, visual, intelektual) terhadap hasil belajar siswa di smk muhammadiyah 2 palembang.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Exsperimental Design. sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X AKL 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan 32 siswa dan X AKL 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan 29 siswa.. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah obaservasi dan tes, dengan analisis data menggunakan uji t. Pengujian analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dikelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata sebesar 83,69 %. Maka perhitungan uji-t diperoleh bahwa Thitung=5,787 >Ttabel = 1671 yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran savi (somatic, auditory, visual, intelektual) terhadap hasil belajar siswa di smk muhammadiyah 2 palembang Kata Kunci : Hasil belajar siswa, SAVI ( Somatic, Auditory,Visual, Intelektual)

Abstract

This researcher aims to determine the effect of the make a match learning model assisted by card media on the learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri 15 Palembang. The research method is experimental using True Experimental Design post-test only control design. The population of this study were all class X students with a sample of class X.1 and X.7 students using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques are observation and tests. The research results were obtained from the average posttest score from the experimental class of 85 and the control class of 72. From the results of data analysis with normal and homogeneous distribution, data analysis using hypothesis testing obtained a calculated t value of 6,548 &gt; 1,991 t table with the Ha criteria being accepted. It is proven that there is an influence of the make a match learning model assisted by card media on student learning outcomes

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive business era, companies need to adapt quickly to market changes while maintaining operational efficiency. The Agile and Lean Management Approach has emerged as an effective strategy to achieve this goal, with Agile emphasizes the flexibility and responsiveness of customer needs, while Lean focuses on reducing waste and increasing value. This research uses a qualitative approach to explore the application of agile and lean strategies in the context of the organization. Data was collected through in -depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and participatory observations in several companies that have implemented these two methodologies. Thematic analysis is used to identify the main patterns and themes of the data obtained. The results showed that the integration of agile and lean practices significantly improve operational performance and company responsiveness. Companies that apply these two approaches report improvements in customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and reduction of cycle time. In addition, the culture of sustainable improvement resulting from the application of these two methodologies contributes to the innovation and adaptability of the organization. To maximize the benefits of the application of Agile and Lean, companies are advised to provide adequate training to employees regarding the principles of the two approaches. Executive management support is also very important in creating an environment that supports change and innovation. With these steps, the organization can be better prepared to face challenges and take advantage of opportunities in the changing market

Abstract

Basic education has a strategic role in shaping students' character and morals from an early age. Integration between science and religion in the learning process, especially in the subject of Natural Sciences (IPA), is one of the effective approaches to strengthen faith and instill moral values ​​based on Islamic teachings. Learning Natural Sciences associated with Islamic principles can help students understand the order of nature as a manifestation of the greatness of God, while fostering their awareness of responsibilities in protecting the environment and social life. This study aims to analyze how science learning can contribute to increasing the faith and morals of students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) by applying a qualitative approach through case study methods and surveys. Data obtained through observation, interviews, as well as the distribution of questionnaires to students, teachers, and educators at MIN 3 Pekanbaru who have implementing the integration between Natural Sciences and Islamic values. The results showed that as many as 82% of students felt more responsible in protecting the environment after understanding the concept of ecosystem balance in Islamic perspectives, 76% of students experienced an increase in awareness of living things, and 79% of students became more disciplined after studying the order of nature through science concepts. This research has a significant impact on Islamic education, where the integrative approach in learning science is proven to be able to increase student spiritual and moral awareness. The results of this study can be a reference in the development of a more holistic curriculum, combining science with Islamic values. Thus, science learning is not only a means of transferring knowledge, but also plays a role in shaping the character of students who believe, moral, and responsible in everyday life
