Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to apply the "Babonisasi" system for kampong chicken to empower the community's economy, especially for hopeful families. This program was held in collaboration with UPSI Malaysia and UMBY through knowledge transfer using a zoom meeting attended by Bappeda Magelang Regency with participants from all members of KWT Larasati, young people, and UPSI Malaysia students. Transfer of knowledge includes the implementation of the babonisasi system for groups, the correct implementation of free-range chicken maintenance and care, kampong chicken IB, economic analysis calculations for kampong chicken business, disease prevention and vaccination efforts and utilization of household waste as animal feed. It was concluded that all of the existing members (20 people) had carried out routine maintenance in group cages and had understood vaccination and feeding techniques (30%).

Abstract

In order to support community health services, the Bandongan subdistrict government has provided each village with an ambulance unit. The available human resources, however, fall short in many ways. For this reason, the PPMT Unimma team is interested in educating village ambulance drivers so that their abilities can be improved. In cooperation with the Police Traffic Unit and Tidar Hospital, training and simulation are the method used to address this issue. As a result of this program, ambulance drivers now have more knowledge and expertise to evacuate the emergency patients.

Abstract

One of the nutritional problems that is commonly experienced in adolescence is anemia, which often occurs due to wrong nutritional behavior. Kalasey 2 Village is an area that has nutritional anemia problems in Mandolang District, Minahasa Regency. This community service aims to increase knowledge about anemia, prevent and overcome the problem of anemia in teenage girl and women of childbearing age (WUS). The methods used in this activity were checking hemoglobin levels, counseling on anemia and training on making red spinach juice. The results of this activity were young women and WUS as enthusiastic participants to prevent and overcome the problem of anemia in the village of Kalasey 2. Their knowledge of anemia increased after counseling. The results of the examination of hemoglobin levels, which is an indicator of anemia, also decreased from 41.1% to 29.4%. Furthermore, partners can overcome anemia by consuming red spinach juice and supported by the formation of the Anti Anemia Healthy Women (Waseanemia) group.

Abstract

Stunted growth in the early years of life can have dire consequences for a child's health. This community service aims to increase parents' and early childhood educators' understanding of early childhood parenting, characteristics that exist in child development, early detection of child development and complementary care that supports child growth and development. The implementation of this community service program uses the parenting education method and examines the growth of toddlers by applying several techniques, namely lectures, display studies, discussions, and examinations. The evaluation results showed that knowledge related to holistic parenting before education was 58.33% for the good category and increased to 100% after education. This shows an increase in participants' understanding of holistic parenting and complementary care.

Abstract

Roda Village, which is located on the coast of Moramo Bay, has a fairly extensive mangrove area, most of which have been converted into shrimp and milkfish ponds. Converting mangrove land into ponds is quite dangerous if not balanced with land restoration efforts. One type of mangrove that is abundant on the coast of Roda Village is pidada (Sonneratia caseolaris). This activity aims to provide education to the public about the role and utilization of mangrove plants and processing pidada fruit into syrup and jam so that it can become an alternative livelihood. This activity uses the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach to involve the active role of the community in implementing the activity. The result of this activity is that the people of Roda Village can understand the role and utilization of mangrove plants. In addition, the people of Roda Village can process Pidada fruit into syrup and jam.

Abstract

The marketing efforts of Mrs. Tresia Eka Wahyuni's MSME Mami Donat are still limited, and they are continuously looking for locations that are appropriate for their budget. In addition, there are not many people are aware of it because of its location far away from urban regions. This PkM's goal is to expand the market and increase product sales. E-minat is a website-based application with an e-commerce system. The program is carried out in stages, including designing a website-based application system, testing activities using the blackbox method, and training on using the e-Minat application. The outcome of this program indicates that the e-Minat application might help in boosting the market and sales of MSMEs, particularly MSME Mami Donat and MSMEs in the Rawa Makmur Village.

Abstract

The manager of BUMDes Mario does not have sufficient knowledge to manage BUMDes, especially the financial aspects in the form of accounting reports. The purpose of this service activity is to increase partners' knowledge and skills related to financial management and to provide a simple accounting system application (SIKENA) for BUMDes. The method of implementing this community service consists of four stages, namely, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), making applications, testing applications and evaluating program implementation. The results of the program include increasing the knowledge and skills of partners related to financial management. In addition, a simple accounting application is available.

Abstract

Medicinal plants and traditional medicines since ancient times have played an important role in maintaining health. Traditional medicinal plants become an alternative in the treatment of a disease. The purpose of this community service is to increase public understanding about the use of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA). The method in this activity is to provide counseling about the types and benefits of family medicinal plants and the provision of medicinal plant seeds to be planted in KWT Ngasem. The result of this activity is an increase in public understanding and interest in the use of TOGA and starting to cultivate it.

Abstract

The transition period between the pandemic and after it requires strategies so that learning transitions continue to create comfort for students in learning. The purpose of this activity is to help teachers become more experts at creating online modules. This activity involved 30 participants from members of the West Sumatra Automotive Engineering Subject Teacher Consultation. Participants' online module work will be analyzed to determine the teacher's ability to design online modules and the effectiveness of the learning process. Participants can effectively create learning modules as a result. However, instructors must spend more time teaching online students on how to complete assignments.

Abstract

Not all expectant mothers can carry out their roles without fear and anxiety. High and long-lasting anxiety can have a negative impact on the health of the mother and her baby. This community service activity aims to increase self-efficacy, knowledge, and skills of Posyandu cadres and expectant mothers in newborn care. This activity was carried out in stages including 1) preparation, including consultation, coordination and workshops, 2) implementation, through training at each posyandu on baby's cord care, bathing, changing swaddles and diapers, and 3) evaluation with an assessment of readiness cadres and pregnant women in caring for newborns. The result of this activity is an increase in the knowledge and self-efficacy of cadres and pregnant women in caring for newborns at Posyandu Delima 27 and Delima 24, Karawang Regency.
