Abstract

Margasari village has a mangrove area of approximately 700 ha. As the main actors in mangrove management, the people of Margasari Village need to be equipped with basic knowledge about the role and function of mangroves, mangrove zoning, and types of mangrove vegetation. The purpose of this activity is to increase people's knowledge about mangroves, change people's mindsets towards mangrove conservation, and improve the ability to manage and use mangroves wisely and sustainably. Lectures and discussions as well as demonstrations are used as outreach methods. This activity is able to increase public understanding of the role and function of mangroves, so that it can change the mindset of people who are afraid of the law in maintaining mangroves and they can participate in preserving mangroves. A good understanding of mangrove zoning will change the mindset of the community, which initially considered the most important mangrove plant species to be Rhizophora spp, to all types of mangrove vegetation having an important role in the ecosystem. Increased knowledge about mangrove vegetation types has provided awareness that the Margasari Village area has a very favorable location for various types of mangroves, so that it can be optimized to improve community welfare.

Abstract

This community service seeks to offer a thorough knowledge of the risks of Covid-19 dissemination, as well as raise public awareness about the need of following health standards and obeying Micro Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) for the whole community. The issue is that the outcomes of related policies have not been able to considerably curb Covid-19's spread. Abstract

According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the proportion of entrepreneurs in Indonesia was 3.1& of the total population in 2018. Although this ratio has improved over the previous year, it continues to lag behind neighboring countries. To increase the ratio of entrepreneurship, interest must be promoted at a young age, and one way to do so is to introduce entrepreneurship through the use of technology, or technopreneurs, in an university environment, which plays an important role in the creation of creative and innovative talents. The objective of this program is to introduce students to technopreneurs via a business incubation program. Coaching and mentoring are the methods used in this business incubation program. The instruments used to evaluate the business incubation program are (1) understanding of the material, (2) motivation to apply the material to the business model, and (3) implementation of the business incubation program. The evaluation revealed that 98.04% of participants thought the business incubation program activities were beneficial and they were interested in applying the material to their current or future businesses.

Abstract

The Perpustakaan Kambing Community is a group of people who are trying to assist coffee farmers with the farming knowledge and education. This community also maintains the Coffee Lappara brand, which transforms coffee beans into packaged black coffee products. Efforts to enhance the welfare of Lappara coffee producers, however, ran into obstacles as the project progressed. One of the challenges the Perpustakaan Kambing faces is a lack of product branding knowledge, which has resulted in their coffee business failing to grow at all. This service seeks to improve understanding of how to use the seven aspects of branding to lappara coffee products. The technique of implementation is interactive discussion, coaching, and assistance. In the end of the program, partners are able to determine the content of the seven basic parts of branding, including target market, target audience, and brand recruiters, brand name, brand slogan, brand style, and logo design, as a result of this activity.
