Abstract

Meat and meat products are an important source of nutrition for humans because they contain several nutrients such as protein, lipids, minerals and vitamins. Most of the women from the PKK team and Posyandu cadres in Cileunyi Wetan Village, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency work as housewives and do not know enough about making processed meat food that is safe, healthy and halal. Therefore, this community service aims to provide information in the form of counseling and training regarding the manufacture of processed meat food. The program is carried out with lectures, discussions and training in making sausages and shredded meat. The results of the program reveal that partners become more aware of the quality of meat, as well as how to properly store and process meat so that nutrition is maintained. Furthermore, at the end of this program, partners can continue to increase awareness of the importance of quality fresh meat which will be processed into a food source of protein which is important for families and partners can also increase creativity independently in procuring healthy processed food.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to train junior high school mathematics teachers to be able to utilize GeoGebra in visualizing the construction of flat shape area formula. The program carried out in collaboration with IndoMS DIY-Central Java. The method used in this community service is an online workshop. The result of this workshop is that the participants are able to visualize the construction of flat shape area formula for a triangular and parallelogram.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology affects all fields, especially health. The development of global health technology cannot be separated from digital technology and the internet. Nurses make a significant contribution to health services and must be able to provide services according to the standards set forth in nursing documentation using information technology. The purpose of this service is to increase the knowledge and skills of nurses to produce information technology-based nursing documentation. This service method includes gathering information on nurses' knowledge about the implementation of SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI, pre-test post-test assessment, training in providing web-based SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI material. The results achieved with this training were that the knowledge and skills of nurses increased in making web-based nursing documentation, namely 30 nurses answered correctly about nursing diagnoses, signs and symptoms and interventions. As for the outcome, only 28 nurses answered correctly.

Abstract

Members of the At-Taubah Assembly of Aisyiah Branch Leadership (PCA) Krembangan, located in Tambak Asri Village Surabaya, have difficulties in processing milkfish into fish crackers. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge on how to process milkfish into crackers using slicer machine tools. The method used in this activity consisted of three stages, namely socialization, demonstrating the processing of milkfish crackers, and giving a cracker cutting machine. The results of this community service are the members of Majelis Ta'lim At-Taubah become aware and understand how to use a slicer machine for the process of making milkfish crackers.

Abstract

As many as 54% of children aged 5-9 years have cavities, damaged or diseased teeth. But only 14.6% of these children received treatment from dental medical personnel. This shows that public awareness of dental and oral health is low. The purpose of this community service is to increase dental and oral health knowledge to prevent an increase in the number of dental and oral problems in SD Negeri 44 Sungai Lareh, Koto Tangah, Padang City. The method used in this community service is counseling and tooth brushing which attended by 147 elementary school children. The results of the program showed an increase in awareness regarding general health knowledge, dental and oral health after counseling by 21%.

Abstract

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak has created a global health crisis that has had a profound impact on the way we understand the world and everyday life, and the people of Karangrejo Village are no exception. This service aims to increase knowledge and provide information to the public regarding the prevention of Covid-19. The activity was carried out in the form of the Corona Education Center Program which consisted of socialization and health education. At the end of the activity, all the elderly had received the second dose of the vaccine and the households included as healthy homes had been well identified. Apart from that, health education has proven to be effective in influencing behavior and increasing participants' knowledge in efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Abstract

Kebon Wage Hamlet, Ngepanrejo Village, has a Qoryah Thoyyibah learning studio built by PPMT UNIMMA students in 2022 in collaboration with partners from LazisMU. However, there is still a problem, that there is no special training to develop the soft skills of children studying in the studio. This service activity aims to improve student character. The service is carried out using the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method, involving the community. All students and teachers in soft skills training are actively involved in the activity process. Besides that, children are also given training in soft skills and the skills to plant green beans using cotton, make wall magazines, learn to color, play puzzles, and participate in leadership activities. The results of this service include increased self-confidence in public speaking and an improved ability to articulate thoughts when speaking in public.

Abstract

Empowerment is an activity that is sustainable, dynamic, and synergistically encourages the involvement of all existing potentials in an evolutionary manner. The lack of knowledge and skills of young people of productive age makes them less empowered in village development. This moved the Unimma PPMT team to hold outreach and training to improve the soft skills of young people. Activities are directed at involving youth as drivers of change who have social, religious and technological abilities. The implementation method used is participatory rural appraisal (PRA) which is divided into 3 stages, namely socialization, training and mentoring as well as monitoring. The results obtained are an increase in youth productivity in; 1) social ability which is shown by the ability to adapt to the environment, attitudes in respecting others and having responsibility, 2) mental and spiritual ability which is shown in behavior in the values of worship and behaving according to norms and religion, and 3) economic ability that is demonstrated by the ability to market bamboo products using technology.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic which has had an impact on the education sector has forced educators to be more creative and innovative in preparing and implementing digital learning, without face-to-face meetings. Mutual Junior High School teachers already have these potentials, but they are not yet optimal. Some teachers already have digital materials in the form of learning media that use power points and videos. The problem that occurs, the materials owned by the teachers are not structured and there is no standard, even though they refer to the lesson plans. In addition, only a few teachers have used online evaluation. The purpose of this program is to help teachers prepare learning materials digitally in the form of PDF, PowerPoint and standardized videos. Programs carried out in the form of training to improve teacher skills. The results obtained were an increase in the number of digital learning materials in the form of PPT by 23%, online exam questions by 40%, and learning videos by 18%, all of which were used as digital learning media in E-learning Muhammadiyah (El-Mu).

Abstract

Ten percent of fishermen in Muncar District, Banyuwangi, use floating rafts as their fishing equipment, equipped with generators as their source of electricity for lighting. However, the use of generators is considered less effective because they rely on scarce fuel oil, the price of which increases every year. To address these issues, this community service project aims to develop micro-hydro power plants and harness seawater chemical energy as an alternative to fuel-powered generators. The project commenced with observations and outreach to fishermen and village officials. Subsequently, the project progressed to designing a tool and applying it to one of the floating rafts as a feasibility test sample. The project concluded with the delivery of these tools to the fishermen after they were confirmed to be functioning properly. The electricity generated from a set of 20 voltaic cells reaches a maximum value of 9.15 V and still requires a DC-DC converter to power the 12 V LED lamp. This tool still necessitates additional power to ensure the electricity generated can meet the lamp's power requirements.
