Abstract

Multicultural education is an educational system. Trying to reduce social inequality, social class, by introducing social jealousy and one of the directions of socialization is unity. Therefore it is necessary in Islamic education institutions to implement a teaching-oriented system, to build a sense of diversity in life. Some very strategic educational programs. Fostering a sense of diversity is: school education must equip students or learners, a framework allows. Gather and understand the knowledge obtained from the environment. The idea of multiculturalism is not difficult, because teaching each other in Islam respects and recognizes the existence of others. Differences in color, language and culture must be accepted. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the teacher's strategy is to discipline students in the teaching and learning process in schools. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach, the data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. This research is a qualitative research. Sources of data in this study were principals, teachers, staff, and students. The data collection method used is the method of interview, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and verification of observations, increasing persistence and triangulation. The result of this research is to show how the teacher's strategy is to discipline students in the teaching and learning process. In addition, another teacher strategy is to approach students personally and in groups related to the cultivation of a spirit of self-discipline, both discipline towards healthy and clean living habits, discipline in self-regulation and the environment, social order, living together in cooperation and mutual cooperation and etc.

Abstract

This paper aims to identify the extent of the use of the WhatsApp application and the problems that accompany it when it is used in learning Arabic for students of Madrasah Ibtida'iyah in Bima City. With a qualitative approach and using research subjects from parents and students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Bima City during the covid-19 pandemic. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. After going through the analysis process, it was found that the use of the WhatsApp application in learning Arabic at the Madrasah Ibtida'iyah level focuses more on mufradat and tarkib aspects and is more relevant for increasing maharah qira'ah and kitabah. In addition, there are problems of saturation, validity of assessments, integrity dilemmas, and technical constraints such as device specifications, finances, and inadequate assistance by teachers and parents.

Abstract

The research aims to describe higher order thinking skills of students semester VII study program PGMI at STIT Sunan Giri Bima on enveiromental damage material using HOTS indicators that include analyze, evaluate, and create. The subject of the research were the students in semester VII PGMI at STIT Sunan Giri Bima of academic year 2018/2019 with the total of 16 students. The instrument of the research were HOTS test. The data analisys amployed descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that students' higher order thinking skills on environmental damage material are optimal and meet the three HOTS indicators, namely the aspects of analyzing, evaluating and creating.

Abstract

Parents are the first monotheistic educators for a child in his life, without parental guidance it is impossible for a child to be able to know his god, because one of the foremost gates in educating and guiding his children to know God and implement the values ​​of his god's teachings, because they are the main door his son's success. Parents are the first educators, not only educating or paying attention to their children about general knowledge but more importantly instilling their understanding of religious knowledge even more specifically as well as equipping them. instilling monotheism education which is an obligation as parents. Parents who are responsible for educating children at an early age can be seen from their strength in instilling monotheism in them. Students who are instilled in monotheism at an early age can be seen physically, which is identical with piety, both individually and socially. The purpose of monotheism education is to increase faith and piety as well as noble character in the context of the intellectual life of the nation, which is regulated by law (Article 31 paragraph 3). students in reality like far the fire from roasting. The teaching system provided by the school to its students is mostly only oriented to intellectual intelligence (intelligence) while the inculcation of the values ​​of monotheism in children is very lacking. In this paper, I discuss the discussion of the concept of monotheism education in early childhood.

Abstract

The Character of education needs to be instilled in students from an early age so it needs to be integrated in learning through the teaching materials used. This is intended to change the mindset towards learning that only dwells on the cognitive domain so that it touches more on a more fundamental aspect, namely the character of students. This paper aims to identify the extent to which character education is implemented in Arabic language textbooks at Madrasah Ibtida'iyah. With a qualitative approach to the type of library research, the data were collected through documentation techniques. The main data source of this research is the Arabic language textbook for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah curriculum 2013 based on KMA No. 183 of 2019. From the analysis of the existing findings, it was found that the content of character education has been gradually integrated into the textbooks through systematic theme preparation, material selection, as well as additional content in books such as picture illustrations, and the introduction of language skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of learning the basic concepts of science-based STEM in the affective domain on student achievement of PGMI. STEM-based education is a new education concept. STEM is not only have meaning as strengthening educational praxis in fields of STEM separately, but rather to develop an educational approach to the problems solving in daily life, and also about attitude, motivation, responsibility for the task, collaboration, etc. Affective Domain is an important domain that should be raised because they relate to the experiences of learners in the learning environment. Method of this study uses a qualitative approach with classroom action research (CAR). The results of the study in the first cycle resulted the scores for each stage was 80% in average with students’ lowest score of 60 and 45. In the second cycle score increases become very good about 90% with students’ highest score was 85 and the lowest score was 75.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya ketidaksesuaian antara buku guru dan buku peserta didik serta penyajian materi pada buku K13 yang masih minim pada kelas IV. Maka peneliti melakukan mini riset di MIN 5 Bima untuk mengetahui sejauh mana implementasi kurikulum 2013 dan bagaimana tanggapan guru tentang ketidaksesuaian materi pada kelas IV (buku guru maupun buku peserta didik) serta minimnya penyajian materi pada buku tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis dokumen atau studi dokumenter, observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejak tahun 2013-2014 untuk mini piloting pada kelas IV. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk menanggulangi ketidaksesuaian materi (buku guru dan buku peserta didik) serta penyajian materi yang masih terbatas sehingga sekolah menerapkan dua kurikulum yaitu Kurikulum 2006 (KTSP) dan Kurikulum 2013 yang terdiri dari berbagai tema. Hasil penelitian ini berdampak pada bagaimana menerapkan kurikulum ganda guna menciptakan generasi yang memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang lebih tinggi serta dapat mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang kemampuan pemecahan masalah ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran siswa kelas V SD/MI pada pembelajaran matematika secara mendalam berdasarkan penalaran siswa yang dilihat dari aspek kognitifnya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan atau soal matematika. Di satu sisi pemecahan masalah matematika penting, namun di sisi lain siswa sering mengalami kesulitan dalam pemecahan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V. Untuk menganalisis data peneliti menggunakan model kualitatif deskriptif sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis dokumen atau studi dokumenter. Adapun hasil analisis pada kemampuan masalah ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran siswa kelas V SD/MI pada pembelajaran matematika adalah sudah mampu membedakan, mengurut, mengelompokkan, dan menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan atau persoalan secara logis. Namun, pada tahap ini penalaran siswa masih terbatas karena pada tahap ini kemampuan siswa mengarah ke operasional kongkrit. Dengan kata lain, siswa juga membutuhkan suatu yang nyata, fakta dan contoh yang kongkrit. Kemudian siswa juga memerlukan bimbingan maupun arahan dari guru supaya proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan optimal. Abstract

This study employed quasi experiment which aimed at examining high level thinking skills who learned using problem-based learning model and discovery learning model on environmental change and waste recycling. The populations of the study were all learning groups of grade X IPA of the second semester at MAN 2 in Bima city of academic year 2017/2018. Samples were selected by employing purposive sampling technique. Data of the study were collected by using test methods in forms essays test for high level thinking skills. The results of the study reveal than (i) high level thinking skills of grade X IPA students at MAN 2 in Bima city who learned using problem-based learning model is better than the one using discovery learning, (ii) there is a difference between high level thinking skills of grade X IPA students at MAN 2 in Bima city who learned using problem-based learning model is better than the one using discovery learning.
