Abstract

This study investigates the phenomenon of the public linguistic landscape, which reveals the use of language in the Tiban Mosque in Malang, East Java. The goal of this research was to describe the language contestation practiced in the Tiban mosque. Furthermore, the purpose of this research is to describe the function of language in the linguistic landscape at the Tiban Malang mosque. The collected data was then classified as monolingual, bilingual, or multilingual. The qualitative descriptive method is used in this linguistic landscape study. Data is collected by observing the location, photographing the object building, and documenting it. According to the findings of this study, the linguistic landscape in the vicinity of the Tiban Malang Mosque is dominated by monolingual and bilingual speakers. This is used to make it easier for visitors and tourists to visit the Tiban mosque's religious tourism area.

Abstract

The term occupies an important place in the communication system in general, and in various fields of knowledge, but its importance increases when it comes to the educational field ; Through it, knowledge is obtained, and perceptions are formed, so any defect in its development, transfer, or use would impede the teaching-learning process, or create gaps in the knowledge structures of learners. Awareness of this importance ; We decided to address in this scientific paper the problem of using the modern linguistic term in the rhetorical lesson in the Arabic language curriculum, in the conduct of arts and sciences in secondary qualifying education through the “displacement” model. This research is qualitative and library research in a descriptive method. The data in this research comes from written documents, traditional and contemporary books related to the research topic. This research relied on two data analysis methodologies. The result: The process of developing the modern linguistic term must be subject to a precise scientific method, away from the conflict between the ancient and the modern. The guidance in the curriculum is the way for every reform process. It has become imperative for curriculum developers, researchers, scholars and those interested in the two issues: critical and pedagogical knowledge to unite efforts to overcome the dilemma of the multiplicity of labels in the rhetorical lesson, and the problem of the multiplicity of Arabic interviews for the same term.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the urgency of contextual meaning (dalālah siyāqiyyah) and contextual theory (naẓariyyah al-siyāq) in Arabic semantic research. The study of contextual meaning is important to reveal because lexical meaning is not sufficient to understand an utterance or text. This research is library research that uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study indicate that context is an element of the meaning referred to in the structure of the text or speech because the context does not only pay attention to words and sentences but also to written and spoken texts and the whole through the relationship between vocabularies in a context. Contextual theory in semantic research is very useful in revealing the contextual meaning of an utterance. The contextual theory does not pay attention to the types of context except the context of language or context of pronunciation so this theory explains a collection of words that are neatly arranged with the word that is the object of study. This theory also focuses on explaining the syntactic and morphological characteristics of an utterance.

Abstract

This simple research aims to reveal some of the superior features of the voicemaker.in site and some of the techniques used in reproducing artificial human voices for listening skills texts on standardized Arabic tests, while also offering solutions to some of the obstacles in using the site. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study model and triangulation technique in analyzing the findings obtained through observation and interviews. The results of this study are: (1) this site pampers its users with several voice options based on gender and nationality, of which 14 Arabic native voices are currently available; (2) there are features that make it easy for site users to get the desired recordings through speed, volume settings. , formats, effects, tones, sizes, and sample rides; (3) the site can be accessed for free with a maximum limit of 400 words per recording and 30 languages ​​with 70 different natives, as well as cloud storage is available; 4) the steps for using the site start with logging in go to the url address, login with email, type the text to be recorded on the white board provided (you can use the copy-paste method), select the driving engine, language and native (male or female), give a touch according to your taste through the settings feature provided. available, press the record button then download the results (if the results are not suitable, you can repeat by improving the available setting features); 5) The obstacles that are often found are the pronunciation of harakat, the pronunciation of nakirah and makrifat, and the pronunciation of two words into one word. all of this can be overcome by placing the harakat according to the i'rab rules and above the alif lam qamariyah (makrifah) and placing the second word on a new line below it.

Abstract

Syahrur introduced the term tsabat an-nash wa taghayyur al-muhtawa, which means that the text of the Qur'an is fixed, but the meaning of the text has changed so that it can be interpreted dynamically according to situation and context. He disassembled from etymology to morphology which can be seen in the redefinition of Al-Qur'an which is considered synonymous. This study uses a qualitative method with synchronous and diachronic analysis. This research is a literature study with al-Kitab wal-Qur'an and Qira'ah Muashirah written by Syahrur as primary data. The findings show that first; Syahrur used linguistics developed by two classical Arabic figures; Ibn Jinni's synchronic theory and al-Jurjani's diachronic theory. Second; the method related to synchronic and diachronic analysis was not fully carried out. Third, Syahrur conducted more semantic studies with syntagmatic-paradigm analysis with the intratextuality technique which Syahrur called manhaj al-tartil so that definitions of the mushaf emerged with the term al-kitab, with the addition of lam ta'rif to become al-kitab. Its meaning refers to the entire set of themes revealed to Muhammad SAW, while the Qur'an is a theme. So that the Qur'an is not identical with the Bible.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the physical and content of the Chujjatu As-Siddiq Li Daf`I Zindiq manuscript. The method used is the critical edition, namely editing the script by correcting some errors and irregularities, while the spelling is adjusted according to applicable regulations. There were word groupings, sentence divisions, and capital letters used as well as comments were also given regarding the text errors. Proper corrections are made based on perfect understanding as a result of comparisons between similar, and contemporary manuscripts. The manuscript written by Nuruddin Ar-Raniri has two versions, namely, script A and script B. The complete contents are 27 pages and talk about "fi bahts al-wujud wa nisba al-a`lam bi al-chaq ta`ala”. This manuscript was dated 1186 H. The language used is Arabic-Malay. The condition of the manuscript is still in good condition, the paper is brown and has small holes, the writing is legible, and the binding is intact. This manuscript discusses the teachings of Sufism and the stages of a person in acquiant his god.

Abstract

The article deals with the approach of the phenomenon of assimilation of the Arabic language, by relying on multidimensional generative phonology. We will try to interpret the phenomenon and to clarify the phonological changes that occur in it, as well as solve some problems associated with it, based on principles and parameters, especially with regard to the types of syllables and their structure and the interaction that takes place between their components while basing on the data of the Arabic language.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain the form and meaning of the amr language style in the Kitāb Al-Arba’in An-Nawāwiyyah by Al-Hafizh Abu Zakariya Yahya bin Syaraf An-Nawawi from the perspective of Ma’ani science. The author uses a descriptive-qualitative method with the Ma’ani Science approach to analyze the form and meaning of the amr language style contained in the Kitāb Al-Arba’in An-Nawāwiyyah. The results of this study indicate that from the aspect of the tool shape and the meaning of the amr language style context, there are 27 data that use three forms of amr language style. The three styles of language are 1) فعل الأمر (command verb), 2) الفعل المضارع المقرون بلام الأمر (fi’il mudhari’which is preceded by lam command), 3) اسم فعل الأمر (isim  fi’il amr) two data. As for the meaning of the amr language style, the five meanings of the language style are 1) The meaning of إرشاد (irsyad / guidance), 2) The meaning of دعاء (du'a / request), 3) Meaning of التخيير (takhyir / choice), 4) Meaning of التهديد (tahdid / threat), and 5) The original meaning.

Abstract

The rapid development of Arabic language learning, both in curriculum and learning strategies, encourages educational institutions to innovate in Arabic language learning. So far, learning Arabic as monotonous, boring learning and learning activities are more often dominated by teachers. This paper discusses strategies in Arabic language learning that maximize creative skills based on neuroscience. This type of research uses literature review methods, including activities that are carried out systematically to collect, carry out the processing, and carry out data collection using techniques to obtain answers to the problems analyzed. The results of this study are strategies that can be used in Arabic lessons that use a base on the right brain, such as SCAMPER. This includes strategies that give attention to shaping the creativity of students. Students are encouraged to be more creative in carrying out various steps on the SCAMPER strategy. Therefore, it can form creative writing habits so that it has an impact on the development of thinking abilities and skills.

Abstract

Analyzing and studying irony style in the daily life of individuals is of great importance due to the diversity of its topics and their intertwining, especially with the great influx and popularity caused by the spread of the Corona pandemic in a torrent of satirical discourse, such as jokes, funny video clips, cartoons, and others. In an attempt to address the state of panic and exaggeration that accompanied the emergence of the epidemic and the parallel discourse in the media, it is not an ordinary discourse produced by one individual but rather a cumulative discourse of social memory extended over time, in which the past overlaps with the present, thus forming a vessel for a cultural heritage that distinguishes a society and predicts its representations and opinions. And his attitudes towards different topics in his daily life or specific topics (educational, political, religious-, or some social phenomena.   Irony in all its forms has been very popular. It has been popular with the public that every person has become a media device in itself, so it is enough to broadcast and publish pictures of senior officials wearing masks on their faces and protective gloves on their hands or while they are in quarantine to launch a barrage of satirical political jokes that It is not devoid of deep connotations that indicate a high level of social awareness and political criticism, dispelling many gaps and almost fading the existing gap between the top and the base.
