Abstract

The article is a written media that is used for information dissemination tools to the general public which are written based on the rules of the standard language, good and correct based on the applicable rules. This study analyzes the inaccuracy of spelling language in writing articles on the Surakarta IAIN Web as well as the implications in 2013 curriculum learning. The focus of discussion in this study is how the form of language errors in spelling in the article on Surakarta IAIN Web and the implications in 2013 curriculum learning. This is a description of the inaccuracy of spelling language in writing articles on the Surakarta IAIN Web and the implementation of learning based on the 2013 curriculum. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The method used is observation and documentation. Based on the results of the analysis of language errors in writing articles on the Surakarta IAIN Web, it was found that a form of error (1) the form of spelling errors included (a) a form of error in using standard language, (b) conjunctions, (d) repeated words and (e) the use of punctuation; and (2) Implementation of the 2013 curriculum in Learning includes activities (a) identifying text deficiencies based on applicable KD, (b) reviewing and revising texts based on applicable KD. The high school education unit includes text editing activities based on applicable KD.

Abstract

This study aims to describe theoritically related to the development of pragmatic category languages in children. The subjects studied were dominated by pre-school children (under 7 years). The method used in writing this paper is a literature study. Based on the literature that has been studied, it is found that: (1) in each context of dialogue there is a violation of the maxims with a certain frequency. Some responses from resource persons are straightforward and very informative or have adhered to the maxim of quantity, quality, relevance, and method; (2) the number of violations of maxims carried out by respondents can be seen as something natural and a natural process. (3) children preschool age still use positive politeness strategy to express their wishes.

Abstract

This article describes the results of research on the needs analysis of Indonesian language subject matter in the Bachelor of Law Studies Programs. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection is done by interviews and data processing carried out by steps, reduction, classification, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the teaching materials in Indonesian subjects majoring in law included material about (1) reading with analysis to find out ideas or reading ideas and assessing reading material, (3) describing an event that had legal aspects in an objective form, (4) writing scientific work, (5) listening, and (6) speaking scientifically. This study also recommends adjusting the syllabus for Indonesian language courses.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and describe the application and deviations of politeness maxim maxim in the language of the Betung Pematangsawa community based on their maxims. The principle of politeness analyzed: maxim of wisdom, acceptance, generosity, humility, compatibility, conclusions. The method uses qualitative. The subject is the Betung Pematangsawa community. Data collection uses records and analyzed with qualitative analysis. The results showed that at the wisdom maxim, the speakers of the language showed sufficient application well. There are only a few that show deviations. At the reception maxim, the speakers of the discussion do not show much deviation. Speakers of language show better application in speech acts of discussion in the Betung community. In the maxim of generosity, its application has shown attitudes and speeches respecting the interlocutor. Only a few speeches that deviate. In humble maxims, language speakers in Betung citizens' discussion show maximal deviations because many express their opinions without regard to the opinions of their interlocutors. In the compatibility maxim, there are quite a lot that indicate compatibility or agreement because of the deliberations that are conducted to reach mutual agreement. In the maximal sympathy, there is less visible deviation but there are some that are considered deviant because of the strengths.

Abstract

Lately research on improving skills has become the focus of experts, one of the skills that must be supported by the ability to write poetry. This research supports to see the improvement of poetry writing skills through the method of giving assignments to elementary students. This type of research is classroom action research. The sample of this research is 6th grade students. The technique of collecting data uses observation sheets, interviews, tests and non-tests. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusions, then quantitative Likert scale analysis. The results obtained from this study about increasing students in poetry writing skills using the help method in accordance with the cycle that is applied then students increase a significant increase.

Abstract

This article discussed the limited problems namely: lack of the ability to identify intrinsic elements of drama texts in class XI of even semester students at Gajah Mada High School in Bandar Lampung. This study aims to determine the ability identifying intrinsic elements of drama texts in class XI students of SMA Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung. The research used a qualitative descriptive method, namely by identifying students' abilities in determining intrinsic elements of drama texts in accordance with indicators such as themes, mandate, plot/plot, character/ characterization, setting/setting, perspective, language style. In this study, 30 samples from 150 existing populations were determined and random sampling was taken. Based on the results of research was conducted by the author through data collection techniques using test techniques, namely students were given the task of drama text and determine intrinsic elements, that the level of students ability to identify intrinsic elements of drama text of XI grade students of Gajah Mada High School in Bandar Lampung as a whole can be said to be very good with indicators as follows: (1) determining the theme in the criteria is very well, (2) determining the mandate in the criteria is very well, (3) determining the flow in the criteria is very well, (4) determining the character / characterization in the criteria is very well, (5) determining the setting is in good criteria, (6) determining the point of view is in sufficient criteria, (7) determining the style of language is in sufficient criteria.

Abstract

This study discusses how the world view according to the author in Pramoedya Ananta Toer's novel Midah Simanis Bergigi Emas based on genetic structuralism which covers the world view and collective subject and the surrounding environment and how the author views Pramoedya Ananta Toer's Midah Simanis Bergigi Emas novel based on reality history linked to the literary work. The method used in this research is descriptive analytical method. The analysis technique performed is dialectical technique, namely, prioritizing coherent meaning. Dialectic techniques develop two kinds of concepts, namely "whole-part" and "understanding -explanation". Sources of data in this study used primary data sources in the form of a novel entitled Midah Simanis Bergigi Emas by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. the creation of the Midah Simanis Bergigi Emas novel was lifted from a social problem that affected it. Genetic elements of the work of Sasta are worldview, author's relationship with historical reality, author's biography, application of novel genetic structuralism. The world view on genetic structuralism in the Midah Simanis Bergigi Emas novel is lifted from a social problem that influences its views on God, the world, and humans. The world view that triggers the subject to identify world views is considered as one of the characteristics of the success of a literary work in genetic structuralism.

Abstract

Human life certainly requires other people to communicate convey the main contents of their minds. In human life can not be separated from what is called language. Language is the most important role for the lives of surrounding communities. Language can express feelings of sadness, pleasure, disappointment, anger, praise, intimacy, and hatred. On the contrary, with swear words that have feelings of irritation, anger or revenge. The method used in this study uses the referral method, record method and documentation method. This research is more likely to use qualitative and descriptive approaches. Data retrieval seen from comments from bonek surabaya fans on youtube in the form of writing. Then, see in the conversation to comment on each other's opinions. In addition, noting important parts that can indeed be examined adjusts the objectives and the data is obtained and documented into the data card based on the date, month and year for 6 months. The results of the research of the Surabaya supporters, the invective in the form of a single form has 80 percent, while the invective other than the single form is 20 percent.

Abstract

The problem discussed in this study is how the teacher's speech acts in learning specifically the directive speech acts in Indonesian language learning in junior high schools. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of directive speech acts in Indonesian language learning in junior high schools. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data source in this study is the speech acts used by teachers and students in learning Indonesian. Data collection techniques in this study using observation techniques, and data analysis techniques used in this study are heuristic analysis techniques. The results showed that the directive speech act function was found when learning in class. The directive speech acts that dominate teacher and student speech are direct directives.

Abstract

The problem that raised in this research is influence of using picture media and learning activities to the ability of writing paragraph. To reach the purpose of the research above, the researcher use correlational methods, it means that the data collected after all the even happen. The techniques to collect the data are analitycal conditional test, statistical analyze, and research hypothesis test. The result of the research showed that (1) there is a positive and significant of using picture media and students’ to ability of writing paragraph with correlation coeffesient is 15,88, (2) there is positive and significant correlation coefficient is 13,70, (3) there is a positive and significant influence of using picture media and learning activities to the ability of writing paragraph is 16,74.
